Apparently too busy to dispatch subscriptions

Bought my husband a 3 month subscription for his birthday. He placed the first order on 3rd February, the FAQs on the website clearly state that the first subscription will come 3-5 working days after your order. The latest date it should have arrived was 10th February, we emailed on the 13th chasing this order, we got a response saying it will be dispatched on the 15th. We thought must be busy with Valentine’s Day etc, happy to wait a couple more days. We emailed again on the 16th after having not received a dispatch notification, was told it would be dispatched that day and delivered on the 17th, here we are on the 17th no dispatch notification, no delivery. We have emailed again, asking why it hasn’t arrived or been dispatched, just another rubbish excuse saying “we’re busy” will be dispatched today. Here we are 730pm and still no delivery or notification of it being delivered. Wish I hadn’t bought a 3 month subscription now as my husband is still awaiting his birthday present 2 weeks after we ordered, and we will have to endure this hassle for another 2 months. Will not be using again.

Very unhappy

Very unhappy. Brought a neon pothos that got pretty shaken around in the delivery. DPD are not a good option and they should definitely look into yodel or a less careless delivery service.

However not all can be put down to the delivery service. The plant I received was clearly overwatered, and on top of this was in poorly draining potting mix that was very dense and clumpy, no air pockets etc, and to compound these issues was in a hanging pot with abysmal drainage. Within a week several of the long vines and leaves have begun to rot away at the base, meaning I now have a much much much smaller plant than the one I purchased. Really not what I expect from people who are supposed to know about plants and will definitely not be using them again. I have also ordered from other online plant sellers previously and those ones came with an excellent potting mix, with moss and bark etc - nothing like that to be seen from Leaf Envy. The pothos has also introduced fungus gnats into my house to add insult to injury. Would avoid!

Hit and miss

I've ordered both a cactus and a subscription box from here. I had no issues with the cactus, it was well packaged and arrived quickly and it's beautiful. I ordered the pink princess subscription box with a plant pot. The pot was nice but was too big for the plant it came with.

I understand all plants are different, but the PP arrived with sunburnt leaves, two twisted around that needed staking to correct, one with a chunk missing from it and another stem with no leaf at all. It also looked like it had reverted, as there was no pink on it and looked like it needed serious tlc and a bit sad. I felt really let down with that purchase and put me off the subscription and ordering again.

Brilliant company, unreservedly recommend

I love Leaf Envy!! So happy with all my purchases - plants and pots, they are also so helpful. I've bought a lot from them now because it's always a good experience. TOP service, so personalised and a 10/10 great customer experience. Also delivery is so efficient and fast. They're my favourite new place for plants and pots.

Nice plants, but...

Had a few delivery issues (not their fault) and customer service started off well, then tailed off into disappointing. Plants were held up by the courier and arrived in poor condition. I sent photos and Leaf Envy said two would be fine, but they had lost all their soil in transit so they would send more, and one was unsalvageable so they would send a replacement plant, along with some other 'plant goodies' to apologise for the inconvenience. The replacement plant & soil arrived within a few days, but there were no extra gifts. I emailed leaf Envy to tell them this and received no response. After a follow up email a week later, I was offered a 15% discount on another purchase and an apology that my gift wasn't sent which just felt a little lacklustre, and means I'd have to spend more money with them. Plants are nice, but bit of a failed service recovery.

The Plant is good.

The plant arrived well packed and in good condition. It arrived quickly but the pot had a large crack in in. However I sent an email with photos showing this and another pot is on its way.

I believe it’s one of my best customer…

I believe it’s one of my best customer service experience I’ve had in the plant category.
I will not mention names but there are some more brands that deliver plants to your house, I am a plant lover and I tried several.
Some of them are well known and their marketing is everywhere, but they were the worst to my experience.
LE were fast, the plants were rapped carefully with our planet in mind and heart. Will definitely recommend and buy more plants from them. Bravo!

Great products and great service

Great products and great service. Highly recommended from me and I will be ordering more plants. They arrived in good order and the pots provided along with them are beautiful. Lovely neutral colours that make the plants stand out.

Damaged plant

I was excited to order a plant for our living room, I actually ordered two. Leaf envy had stacked them on stop of each other to save on delivery space and when the delivery came, the bottom plant was damaged. The leaves had been impacted and were torn off… we thought if we emailed they would sort this.

They said it was normal and to prune the plant and remove the damaged leaves, not what you expect as a paying customer for something new.

Save your $$$
