Lied about emailing me

The first agent I spoke to seemed reasonable and understanding when I explained the useless British Gas were billing me for a debt that does not exist. I emailed all the requested information and when I received an email to provide further details I did. I received a generic response ensuring me I would hear back with something more personal soon. I received no further communication. Then I get letter worded 'as requested please find attached invoice' - odd because I certainly didn't request this invoice as this is a bill for electricity for the month prior to me moving into a rented property - so why exactly do I want to pay for a month I wasn't living there as I have tried to inform British Gas of for four months? I spoke to another agent today who was far less friendly and told me they have emailed me asking for further information (which they have not). I have now resent the further info I already sent and have so far received the genetic response again. Time will tell if they actually process the further info or not or whether I am just going to keep going round in circles like I have with British Gas.

Cowboy company…

Unfortunately there is no option to give 0 stars!!

I was being chased for a Thames water bill from 2019 when I moved out 8 years ago. They ask to confirm my personal information before they even talk to you.

Seems they purchase debts in hope of making profit. LCSDR didn’t check their facts before bombarding me with letters!

Absolute joke of a company run by A BUNCH OF CLOWNS

Absolute joke of a company. Several letters received with wrong values on to begin with, have requested 15 call backs by text to my mobile, requested 23 call backs via their online call back request form.No call backs yet over a 2 week period, interestingly since giving my mobile and ex directory landline i have been receiving scam calls on a regular basis,"amazon prime renewal" and "involved in an accident" calls all blocked.BE CAREFUL GIVING LCSDR ANY OF YOUR PHONE NUMBERS.
I have contacted HMRC who these jokers were supposed to be collecting on their behalf and i have sorted out the discrepancy.
BUNCH OF CLOWNS.

I was receiving letter when I first got my keys to my new house contacted them to state that it's the perverse tenant debt and of course there trying to push it onto me. I received a theathing letter if I dont pay the money. I don't think so when it isn't my debt.

To the Customer Care Manager 1st Locate (UK) Limited 1st Floor West Wing, Town Centre House The Merrion Centre, Woodhouse Lane Leeds LS2 8LY

I wish to complain about your staff and the way they handled a debt recovery. I received a letter via an estate agent that I used for a new tenancy. The letter said it was regarding an EDF Energy matter. I spent two telephone calls lasting about an hour each speaking to your staff on both occasions. They would not listen to what I was trying to explain to them that this debt can only be owed by the previous tenant as their agreement terminated on the 11th of March 2019 and a new tenant took over that same day. It took a 10 minute call to EDF speaking to someone with an ounce of common sense, what a joke!! As for you web statement “Don't worry, we're friendly and great listeners”!! You must be deaf. You people don’t listen, all you want to do charge the wrong people. I’ve also raised a complaint with EDF. You just wasted my time and got me very upset. Your staff needs to be trained better on listening…

This is a truly appalling company

This is a truly appalling company. They purchase debts form the likes of equally appalling companies like Avro Energy Ltd (who are liars and cheats) and then hound you, even when informed that their hounding is unlawful.

Lying, thieving, criminals. Do not contact these scum.

I moved into a property and starting receiving threatening letters from this dodgy outfit on behalf of the useless British gas.
They competed an 'investigation' except they named the wrong person.
An elderly, semi-retired 70 year olds that doesn't and has never lived here.
I told them this and that I live at the property and to deal with me but no.
Their investigation is sacrosanct (That means too important to be changed to the knuckle draggers that work there) and they will only feel with the person that has no link to the place instead of the one that pays the bills.
Anyway British gas wiped the debt clean.
All sorted?
Well we are dealing with mouth breathers here so no.
Lcs still want the debt paid.
So they want a debt that doesn't exist anymore to be paid by someone that has never lived there.
That is illegal and called extortion.
I have proof both physical and electronic and can get verbal thanks to gdpr that there is no debt so if the incompetents want to pursue this then take me, well the 70 year that has never lived there to court instead of slyly and slimily running off to credit agencies and trying to ruin the credit score of an innocent 70 year old.
Why don't you accept I live at the property and do that with me.
I'll happily take you to court and even the police but as it is I'm going to start with the Financial Ombudsman Service.

I've been trying to contact this…

I've been trying to contact this company on behalf of a vulnerable person since yesterday morning. I've kept phoning and have requested call back 4 times, their website says you'll be contacted within 10 minutes. I've also emailed reference numbers etc and they state in an automated email, they cannot ascertain who the account belongs to and can't discuss anything by email. I've emailed back saying I want to discuss it with an advisor and still get the same nonsense back. Dealing with some of the more vulnerable in our society, the director or whoever runs this so called company (different trading names) should be ashamed and embarrassed at the unacceptable lack of professionalism. Sourced out to collect tax credits, HMRC should get rid of this inadequate company. Maybe I'll get a response now I've checked the box to notify them of this review.

Didn't check their facts before bombarding me with letters and texts. Impossible to contact because they do not answer their phones and any emails do them just bounce back at you from their crap automated system.
