pre payment for a Security course that I did not attend, due to Pain & spoke to 'Get Licensed' Company today & no refund offered to me, told to Pay lot of extra money to book onto a new Course date Nov" 2025 & debt Collecters put default marks on my credit report , So i had no choice but to Pay balance Off & not Completed Security Course with 'Get Licensed' that I had paid for !!! & asked to take my Review Off by Staff too.

I had no idea who this company was until my elderly disabled Father recently received a Debt collection letter (from LCS) stating his “Laybuy” account needs to be paid! He has never had a Laybuy account. Laybuy need to take responsibility for passing a fraudulent Debt by Identity theft onto a Debt collection Agency and causing harm to an extremely vulnerable elderly Man. Police have been informed as have Action Fraud - next step is a Solicitor.

Do not use Laybuy unless you want to be scammed. I have already left a review three days ago, however I wanted to write another to warn everyone not to use Laybuy. Laybuy replied to my last review claiming that the fraud team has got back to me and are investigating my team. I can confirm that they have not and quite frankly I believe that they don’t give a god damn care.

Give me my refund!
Laybuy have sent my account to debt collectors over 26 pound when they owe me 41!!! I have tried to contact them numerous times and have no reply at all! Absolutely disgusting company

Thank you Laybuy, I was able to pay off my new windscreen ($500) with this Laybuy payment arrangement. It was a lot to pay each week, and might have been nicer to have been able to pay it each fortnight instead of each week, but it was still great to divide the lump sum into 6 do-able amounts. Sorry to hear you have gone into receivership. Kind regards.
Disappointed
Very disappointed my last payment due 30th is being demanded to be paid a day early to avoid being placed with debt collectors. When I put this purchase on laybuy I agreed to make my payments weekly and then suddenly you demanded an earlier payment. Now you've put me into a situation I can't afford, which is not my fault!!!

I have told Layby so many times that I am in Financial Hardship. I have prooved to them why that is and still they are sending me messages to pay for outstanding payments when I don't have the money. I have to cut down on my Board Money this Week coming to pay off my Layby Account.
Don’t give you your refunds back!
I have emailed 11 times since February about the £100 that was taken out of my account, I was told I would be refunded ALL the money taken; I was only give £9 back. I have emailed since, waited on your live chat for a response. Nothing. I’m hoping I may get a response and ALL my money back through here.

Honestly I’ve already left reviews but this is driving me mad! We don’t have lots of money and you guys withholding my Amazon refund feels like day light robbery?!!! I have tried to email you but of course it’s radio silent so disappointed 😢
Don’t care about the customers they’ve had whilst trading
They are in administration and have stated that there is no plan in place regarding refunds as they are currently “assessing” the situation but they think it’s ok to request payment for outstanding orders and when you don’t pay charge late fees and threaten you with a debt collection agency. I tell you what once you give me the money you owe me I’ll pay what I owe you. Fact of the matter is I probably won’t see the nearly 200 pound you owe me because you’ll be throwing it all to your creditors paying off your debts therefore you won’t see the 111 pound I owe you. Tried contacting which can only be done via email or messaging and had no response either.

Could someone from the laybuy team please respond to me! I’ve emailed in early March in regards not being able to gain access to my account as I’ve changed my phone number, one payment hasn’t gone through and now the amount has been adding up I’ve sent two emails and wrote a review before but no one’s helping me!
