Extremely Unprofessional Experience…

Extremely Unprofessional Experience with Latour & Petit – Especially Alexandre
Our experience with Latour & Petit, and in particular with Alexandre, was simply unacceptable.
We visited an apartment, sent all our documents, and Alexandre told us we had a very high chance of being accepted due to our strong financial situation. He asked us to wait until Monday. On Monday he suddenly said the landlord had rejected us.
We moved on, found another apartment by Wednesday, and were ready to proceed. Then Alexandre called out of nowhere saying that the landlord had actually accepted us. Because we preferred the Latour & Petit apartment, we cancelled the other option — something we would never have done if we had known what would come next.
Immediately after telling us we were accepted, he started requesting confirmations, sending us the contract, and rushing the process. The next morning he asked for more financial information because “the landlord now needs additional documents.” We sent everything immediately.
And then nothing. No reply for the entire day.
On Friday, when I called him, he suddenly said the landlord was now “unsure” again.
First accepted, then rejected, then accepted again, then unsure — all within a few days.
This behaviour is not just unprofessional — it is chaotic, misleading, and shows a complete lack of respect for people’s time and commitments. Because of Alexandre’s contradictory messages, we lost another apartment opportunity and were left in a completely unstable situation.
We expect professionalism and reliability from a real estate agency — not this back-and-forth attitude worthy of someone who has no idea what they are doing.
We absolutely do NOT recommend Latour & Petit. Our experience with Alexandre was one of the least professional interactions we have ever had.

The individual seller may be…

The individual seller may be professional but their method is ultimately untrustable. No care at all for the client after sales. You have a question? It is your own business. And I did not pay 2 euros... Had I read the reviews here before buying, I would have NOT chosen them
