The location, staff and lessons are simply amazing, they have flexible times for online and classroom lessons, you can't go wrong with them, success is their aim.

I learned a lot of new words and phrases before I don't make sentences now i learn and also i make my conf and I speak English Our teacher Mrs Helan really explained very good way and everyone understood and catch-up easily.

I enjoyed my experience learning skills to pass my functional maths level 2. The staff at Learning and skills solution work with learners via zoom or face to face to give us the tools and knowledge to be confident in our exams.

Enrolling with Learning and Skills Solutions for Functional Skills was one of the best decisions I’ve made. If you are a busy person who cannot attend face-to-face classes, they offer online classes during the week and on Saturdays as well. I highly recommend them due to their effective teaching methods. Students are engaged in group discussions on a variety of topics, building up your vocabulary. Maths classes are well taught with practical questions. It is a short- course allowing you to balance your studies with other responsibilities.

I recently completed the English Math Entry 3 Level course, and overall, it was a highly enriching and well-structured program. This course is ideal for students who are either non-native English speakers learning math in English, or anyone looking to strengthen both their mathematical understanding and academic language skills simultaneously.

Here I will try to write 4 positive sides and 3 negative side of it as we learned during course.
Positives:
As positive feedback Firstly, the course does a great job of combining math instruction with language development. Key math concepts—like fractions, algebra, word problems, and data analysis—are taught alongside vocabulary, reading comprehension, and sentence structure, which really helps in understanding complex problems.
Secondly, Mathematical terms and operations were broken down clearly, which made it easier to follow even challenging topics. The use of visuals, examples, and step-by-step breakdowns was especially helpful.
Thirdly, There was a strong focus on real-life applications, and many word problems were rooted in everyday situations, making the content more relatable and useful.
Fourthly, Whether in-person or online, the course encouraged active participation, questions, and collaboration, which helped build both confidence and communication skills.
Negatives:
As negative sides Firstly I would say some students moved a bit quickly, interrupting especially other students who needed more time with the language aspect. So will be better to warn those like me with a good manners. More optional practices, homeworks or review sections would help reinforce learning.

As negative perspective Secondly, Instead of asking questions to the whole class, Tutors should take turns speaking. This will prevent confusion and ensure everyone's participation.

As negative side thirdly, Most assessments were traditional paper-based quizzes and tests. As I believe computer based projects or oral presentation options could better reflect students’ overall understanding and language progress.

Finally I would say “English Math Courses” is a unique and valuable course, especially for bilingual or ESL students. It not only improves math proficiency but also builds the academic language needed for success in other subjects. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen both skill sets in a supportive learning environment.
