🏆BEST prop firm out there bar none
Clear and uncomplicated rules, amazing communication & super fast payouts.
Lark is without doubt THE best prop I have ever used (I have used approx 6 x other firms and spent a few thousand on challenges to date) but Lark as I’ve shared below give you the VERY best chance of succeeding in the prop firm game.
🏆 Little milestone for me today - to date I have had 4 x payouts now in total from other prop firms in last year or so (E8, ftmo, Alpha, 5ers) but NEVER managed to get more than 1 x payout before then blowing the account.
Today with LARK I requested my SECOND payout, I did it haha!
Thanks Matt & team again for what is imo THE best prop firm in the game 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Unfortunately Lark isn't what they are cracked up to be
Unfortunately, I have lost my $200K live account due to the “All-or-Nothing Rule.” I was using one of the older accounts that requires a buffer. The trade in question lost just 0.8% of the account, which is very low risk. However, due to unforeseen slippage, my margin utilisation rose to 92%. This, combined with the lower leverage applied to indices (I trade US30), flagged me as a risk to Lark Funding. As a result, my account was immediately closed, and I was not given the opportunity to start an appeal process.
Following this, communication from Lark Funding deteriorated. Where responses previously took around two days, they began taking over ten days. Furthermore, I was not allowed to withdraw the remaining $2,640.41 in my account, which had been earned legitimately and not under the “All-or-Nothing” policy or any infringement.
I am completely disappointed in the way this situation has been handled. Matt has not acted professionally throughout. I have offered to prove that my trades are copied from my personal master account, and if my prop account history is reviewed, it will clearly show that I have been trading responsibly and with low risk throughout my time with Lark Funding. There have only been two occasions out of all my trades where I opened more than one position, and I have never lost more than 1% in a single trade.
I was under the impression that for accounts opened prior to the new rule changes, traders would keep all profits made, even if a breach occurred. The “All-or-Nothing Rule” is not clearly defined, and it seems that Lark Funding is able to apply rules and penalties arbitrarily once they invoke this infringement.
I requested my money to be paid, after which I would have walked away quietly. However, after much persistence, I was eventually informed that due to the rule breach, no payout would be made. This is both unacceptable and unprofessional. To date, my most recent email has not received a response.
It is a shame that a company which claims to pride itself on good service has chosen to treat its traders with such disregard, disrespect, and poor service once I was pushed out.

$400k Funded Trader's Accounts Terminated for an Unwritten "Ghost Rule". Run Away from this company
Before I explain my 1-star review, let me establish my history with Lark Funding. I was a successfully funded trader managing $400,000 in total capital across my accounts. I had passed two separate evaluations (March & May 2025) and made multiple significant withdrawals totaling nearly $10,000 (June & July 2025). I have the official certificates for all of these achievements and was a huge advocate for their platform.
This positive relationship ended abruptly on August 25, 2025.
1. The Sudden Termination:
Out of the blue, I received an email stating that my two profitable funded accounts (5004013 & 5004991), totaling $400k, were suddenly terminated for allegedly using "copy trading." I was shocked, as I am my own algorithm developer and have never shared my systems.
2. My Explanation & Offer of Proof:
I responded immediately with a detailed explanation. My proprietary EAs are coded for the MT5 platform, but Lark Funding operates on cTrader. Because of this, I have a technical need to use a "bridge" software (like Duplikium) to copy trades from my own MT5 master account to my own Lark Funding cTrader account.
I am not copying another person; I am copying myself. I offered to prove this with a live screen share, showing my source code, my personal VPS, and my Duplikium dashboard, which clearly lists my accounts under my name, Erick Sanabria Lopez.
3. Lark Funding's Shifting Argument:
Lark Funding disregarded my evidence. They shifted their reasoning from accusing me of copying a third party to claiming I violated a vague, internal "blanket policy" against "any form of copy trading," regardless of the source or intent. This "policy" is not written in their public Terms and Conditions.
4. The Direct Contradiction with Their Own Rules:
This is the most critical part. I sent a final appeal on September 8th. In it, I provided a link to their own Helpdesk article titled "Is anyone else allowed to trade my account for me?". The article makes it crystal clear that the rule's spirit is to prevent ANOTHER PERSON from trading your account. I explained that I was in 100% compliance with their written rule, and that their secret "blanket policy" was being used as an excuse.
5. The Final Response: Complete Silence.
Since my final, evidence-based appeal on September 8th—where I confronted them with their own written rules—I have received two full weeks of complete silence. They have chosen to ignore a legitimate dispute rather than address the contradiction.
Conclusion:
To be clear: Lark Funding terminated a profitable, $400k trader with a history of successful withdrawals based on a secret "internal policy" that is not written in their terms and directly contradicts their own public articles. When presented with undeniable proof of their inconsistency, they chose to completely ghost their client.
Is this the behavior of a fair and transparent prop firm? Or is this a way to remove profitable traders from their books?
I have the entire email chain saved to back up every single claim made here. I am writing this review to warn the trading community. Run away from this scammers.

Got already 2 payout,I started with Lark funding 2 months ago, passed the challenge and now I've made 2 payout already. a little bit of delay with the second one but at the end both arrived without problem, support answer pretty fast, it would be nice to have support chat on the dashboard but at the end they answer pretty fast per mail so I cannot complain.
thank you
Matteo
