AVOID USING THIS COMPANY

I purchased a swan Fridge on the 10th August 2022 via La Redoute with Theguala company. I was invoiced and charged £54.98 my credit card transaction was in US$ 66.32. I then received an email stating that the seller was unable to fulfill the obligation, so the deal was cancelled. my credit card transaction was with SQ.GCM Securities. I tried contacting La Redoute and was told my account was closed. left with no alternative but to ask my credit card company to do a chargeback. Please AVOID using this company for your own safety.

I love La Redoute,my go to..

I love La Redoute,my go to for everything!! Beautiful quality organic baby clothes, lovely French style wardrobe staples, stunning furniture! Price's aren't cheap as quality item's but there sale's are fantastic and always find some affordable luxury.
2 year's shopping and never a problem with an order and if you need customer service it's a first class service from a company you can trust.

Be Warned

Only buy from this company if you’re happy to waste hours phoning and emailing them to try and get what you ordered and paid for.
We ordered 4 bar stools for over £500 on 6 July. Received 3 and a wardrobe on 9 August. Returned the wardrobe and asked for a refund for the missing stool. They credited me with £9.99 for the postage for the wardrobe (there was no postage charge for the stools) but not the cost of the stool. One of the 3 stools we received broke on Day 2.
The have emailed my one and only email address several times, but say they can’t deal with my complaint because the email address I used doesn’t match up with the one on their records!
They now say the stools won’t be back in stock until October and we need to keep checking that they have them.
We must have spent over an hour on the phone to them and it’s a premium rate number.
To paraphrase Edith Piaf “Je regrette beaucoup”

Very disappointed with the delivery…

Very disappointed with the delivery from La Redoute (all items shipped in a different stages), and two side tables came fractured (£160 each). When we asked for a discount we were offered only £30. The other ordered table was in stock on the website but after a while from placing the order we were informed that it wasn’t in stock. We ordered the second one but we are still waiting for it. I trusted this company as I am ordering lots of furniture for my clients (interior design projects) and I was put down a lot.
We have still two items to assemble from La Redoute and if they will be good I am happy to give a good review. So far me and my client are very disappointed 😔.

Happy with the products

Yes, they deliver things a bit slowly but they informed me about the delivery. I’m ok with this as they get these stuffs from France. The product’s quality is good too. I purchased baskets and bed covers. The price is ok ✅. I never returned things so can’t comments on it.

Slow customer service and poor warehouse skills

I used to love La Redoute but their service now is so poor. The order I received was incorrect - missing items, items sent not on the order but in the parcel. To get a response from customer services regarding the missing /additional items took about 5 days.
I returned most of my items - including the incorrect items. I've completed the returns form, used the returns label and the warehouse have lost my return with over £100 pounds worth of goods. Historically they were a great company and I've had no issues in the past.
I won't be using them again

This company Service is awful - stick to Ikea

This company is awful. I bought something online and cancelled the order 2 minutes after making the order. I wrote back / contacted them several times to make sure they got it, and i just get a message saying my order has been dispatched and will be at my house in 4 days. At the bottom of the email they state that I will have to take the items to the post office if I want to return them for free. Imagine the wasted time, energy, gas, hours someone has spent moving the furniture, the number of emails I have written And all the related stress because they are unable to precisa cancellations on a timely basis and they have a dismal logistics and CRM system? Losers

I cant give zero unfortunately

I cant give zero unfortunately! Been waiting over a fortnight to have my account credited. There is no one answering at customer service. The same old excuse of minimising social interraction due to covid (Yawn) rubbish company! Expensive items and poor quality goods and customer service

Excellent quality and range of…

Excellent quality and range of products.
I was very surprised to read so many negative reviews on Trustpilot. I have been a customer for over 15 years and I have always been pleased with my purchases (non furniture items) . I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend La Redoute. Excellent discounts during sales and promotions too. Soft furnishings for a holiday apartment were entirely from La Redoute. Received several compliments.

Bed delivered with parts from different…

Bed delivered with parts from different beds
Waited two months for a bed, the base does not fit in the frame. They have sent the wrong parts. We now have no bed and customer service have promised replies and then nobody calls.
So poor and now we are just sleeping on a mattress on the floor as we got rid of our other bed (silly us for thinking we would be given a bed that had all the right parts

An absolutely awful company with poor…

An absolutely awful company with poor products and appalling customer service. Either items ordered didn't turn up, or were damaged or low quality. A credit account was opened without my consent which I did not want. They refunded too much money, which I returned, but they continued to harass me for more. They rarely respond to emails and are clueless to know what's going on. I'm amazed they're still trading.

High price, low quality

Brought a set of black and golden cutlery. After 2 weeks of washing, the colour disappear...
Doesn't worst the price, for the second time after buying things at LaRedoute. Will never buy again their brand, very expense but the quality is low

UNTRUSTWORTHY- They delete bad reviews from the website

Furniture item arrived arrived damaged and there were 2 types of fixtures missing from the assembly kit. The wood panels are completely different colours (some greyish, some brown). Emailed customer service and I’m told I would get a reply in up to 5 days... it's been 3 days now and no word. I then received the following reply when I submitted my dismay on the website reviews section "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!". So they don't allow 1 star reviews to be posted on their website- completely untrustworthy!

Non existent customer service …

If there is an issue with your order you may as well talk to the wall. It’s been close to a month since I made an order, and tracking isn’t working anymore the customer service response ‘ have little patience’ . Never have I come across such non existent customer service before. When asked for a refund if they can’t locate the parcel, they stopped responding to my emails.

Disappointing customer service but lovely product.

When paying for my order online I entered my card details and the site immediately took me back to the previous page so I had to enter them again. The next day my bank account showed I had been charged twice and the La Redoute tracker showed I had two identical orders on the way. I tried to telephone the customer helpline straight away to cancel the duplicate order before it was dispatched and to be refunded for one of the orders, but despite several attempts and holding on for a very long time, no one answered, so both orders were dispatched and I was charged for both.
I had opted for click & collect and both my orders arrived in the one package which made sense. The package contained no paperwork at all; no returns form or returns label. I tried calling La Redoute customer helpline several times over the next few days to find out how I could return what I didn’t need, but waited and waited each time and no answer.
I finally got through today to be told I had to package up my two return orders separately, even though La Redoute sent them to me in the one package! There was no apology from the team member for the erroneous duplicate order and payment, nor for the lack of paperwork in the parcel.
This was my first and last purchase from La Redoute. Very disappointed in the customer service.
That said, I am very happy with the dress I kept which is beautiful. No complaints at all about the quality of the product.

Service is bad. Very bad.

an order (for a stool) was cancelled some days after purchase- took me a long time to realise! no apology from them- no explanation

wrong item sent to me- the return system was so bad i ended up chucking the basic clothes rail that i hadn't ordered into a skip- was so frustrated!! never received my nice table, of course which was worth a lot more.

and here i am- bloody idiot- waiting for another order- been two weeks now, yet was allegedy dispatched almost immediately and i'd be hearing from their courier in "2 to 3 days" from that point.

never again! i mean it this time.

Garbage company - Avoid like the plague

Please avoid doing business with this company, you will say yourself needless headaches. So I ordered a swimsuit for my sister from La Redoute, the dingdongs sent the wrong one out to her. I took multiple pictures of the actual swimsuit that arrived and started a return. They will NOT under any circumstances ADMIT that they screwed up the order, they make out like it's YOUR fault - you the CUSTOMER! Yes, I have complete control over the dingdongs in the La Redoute shipping department with telepathy/s. Morons!!!! So La Redoute gives me a return shipping label, in the instructions it categorically states that you will "receive a refund within the next 8 days" of arrival at our facility. So it arrives at their facility and 8 days comes and goes without any refund to me. I start sending emails to the person at La Redoute who was conversing with me, they didn't want to deal with it so that person pawned me off to someone else. After a few days the new person stated that they will process a refund within 10 days, so now we are at 18 days and counting. That's over DOUBLE the original quote, and in real time it will be a month since they have received the swimsuit.
In summary:
*You won't get what you ordered from them.
*Their returns are onerous and their written statements are untrue and as much use as wet toilet paper. Do not believe anything that they tell you.
*I'm going to have to go through my credit card company to start a charge back on these turkeys.
Avoid using this garbage company and you can save your money and not have any problems resulting from it. You have been warned!
