Think I’ve bought fake converse

I’ve just ordered a pair of CONVERSE
Chuck Taylor All Star Move Chunky Canvas Trainers. Think they might be fake. Came in a plain white box and not a converse one. Plus no stuffing in either of the shoes 😩

La Redoute isn't too bad!!!…

I think La Redoute is getting a bad rap. 1.8! I know the app is slow, frustrating at times. Gets stuck.
However they have good sales, returns are extremely easy. Just stick the label on they come to collect it. Simple.
Many items are overpriced, but I love the variety of home goods that you dont see everywhere. All my items have always been good quality. Packed well and usual arrive within a few days. They keep you updated with Evri on when and what'll be arriving, when ....

I've never had to call them, but they have always responded to any questions via email, fairly quickly and friendly.

Refunds do take about 2 weeks to go back onto your account or credit card. I have an account with them and the send payment reminders....

Not sure why the bad rap. Yer it's not perfect, but I do t mind if I can get different, odd or beautiful items on sale! The clothes aren't really my type kinda. As a company, there's way way worse.

They do need to update their app though. The la redoute sign/brand when it dances on screen does my head in. It's a very basic app.

Wrong item received. Terrible customer service!!

I ordered a planter 2 weeks ago and they sent me a wash basket instead. They've told me I have to arrange a return and when they receive the incorrect item they'll issue a refund. Delivery will take 7-10 days once they've ordered it for me. Disgraceful service that I have to go out of my way for a mistake THEY made and I'm £140 out of pocket

Absolutely disgusted and very very disappointed.
This is my 2nd review in less than a month.
I ordered black leather ankle boots and received thigh high suede boots...not amused..returned them, got refund and call from very helpful representative Annie who reordered them for me.
I've received my second order and guess what?..thigh high suede boots received again. I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!!!
People on phone helpful but something somewhere is definitely not right...
Needless to say I'll be returning once again and be looking elsewhere.
If I could have given 0 stars I would

The big dread.

Remember the name La Redoute, as it says it all, an online shopping experience to dread indeed...
I didn’t bother to read any reviews before my order having used this company often in France many years ago, without any issues, but feel I‘ve been had too with my first unsuccessful order in the UK so, adieux for good.
A shame as the choice of products seems good indeed but bear in mind the hassle you will get if you do get anything wrong, the costly phone calls, waiting for refunds, as those negative reviews from my experience are all pretty accurate.
First rug ordered was sent in a different colour, next one came in a split package, with a horrendous smell from being exposed to water likely; all returned and refunded eventually. On top of that the only way to contact their customers service is by phone – at a premium rate - and I just found out that this has cost me £40 in all to correct their mistakes and for getting nothing whatsoever from them. Incroyable!

Lost Goods, Appalling Customer Service

Their delivery business partner Evri has been constantly lying about the delivery. Called La Redoute four times to explain I have security camera footage to prove it and expect them to sort it out. Four times, I was treated with disrespect. Finally they accepted Evri lost my parcel. Instead of offering to send new products with express delivery and an apology for all the time they wasted, they want to give me a refund to they can resell the items in full price. Appealing customer service. Avoid La Redoute at any cost.

The worst company in the history of companies.

I wish I could give it zero stars, but I have to give it one in order to leave a comment. I have never in my life experience such bad customer service as with La Redoute. The first instance was in January when I ordered a set of £200 saucepans to be delivered to my local click and collect shop. I had the notification to say it had arrived and went to the shop… to cut a very very long story short, the saucepans had been stolen by Evri or by somebody at the Tesco’s branch or never got delivered in the first place. After numerous phone calls, they finally agreed to refund me for the product I never received (how generous of them ey). Now, a second order with a second issue. I ordered a lampshade which ‘arrived’ in a box marked ‘biochem laboratory’ which was clearly very strange. When I opened the box, there was no lampshade but a 10 L bottle of Ad-Blu water for a diesel car engine. My address label had been stuck over another label, so this was clearly not my package. Immediately I got on the phone and was told that until they receive the lampshade back I couldn’t have a refund. It didn’t matter how many times I explained that I didn’t have the lampshade, they didn’t seem to understand the situation. I sent pictures of what I had been delivered, as well as the box it arrived in. I asked for a manager to call me back and never heard a single word. Every time you call and ask to speak to a Manager, they’re always ‘busy’ or ‘in a meeting’. The agent will tell you they have passed on a request for a call back and marked it as urgent but please do not believe this, you will never hear from them. Evri collected the package on the 28th March and according to the tracking, it hasn’t moved since. I have been trying to contact customer service to tell them that I need my money back and this is not fair, but nobody can do anything for me. Managers never call you back, the agents don’t understand situations properly and quite frankly, no one gives a s*it once they’ve got your money. Between La Redoute customer services and the fact that they use Evri as their courier, you have an approximately 0% chance of receiving your item. Then you have an approximately 0% chance of actually being able to talk to somebody about the fact that you haven’t got your item. Avoid like the plague.

Catastrophically awful.

After at least 5 attempts I have to document just how poor an experience I have had with laredoute. Time and time again they send products that are broken, unfinished, cracked, stained or just flat out terrible quality. The amount of wasted money and pollution created from sending and returning products must be awful for the planet, let alone their books.
If it spent even the smallest amount of time in quality control they would surely be more profitable, less wasteful and kinda to the planet. We have now had 2 cushions, 2 sets of curtains, 4 kitchen stools, a leather sofa and a mirror all sent back due to being so poorly made. Statistically we should have got lucky and had one half decent product by now, it's actually quite astonishing just how awful they have been.

Ask for Julia

Honestly after reading some of the reviews I felt uneasy and extremely concerned regarding the orders I had placed. Today I called just enquire the status of my orders and to my absolute delight a lady called Julia took my call. Initially the line was really bad so juliq insisted on calling me back I. Order to get a clear call so she could hear me properly. I expressed my concerns and she was to the point honest and reassuring. On a whole it was a truly pleasant call and I have came away feeling very excited to receive my orders..

Thank you julia

Returns seem complicated and poor customer service

Ordered numerous items all of which came in 4 separate deliveries over a fortnight (I’d rather have just waited for 1 parcel). Cushion zips were broken so have returned them via Evri. It’s been over 2 weeks, so I’ve logged into Evri track return and it’s showing as “Received by Next”. Unsure as to whether La Redoute and Next are sister companies or something. Tried to get in contact but impossible to get a response.
