Martin has done an excellent job on my micro-camper. Fitted an Inverter, and an Autoterm small-space diesel heater, upgraded Lithium Ion battery. He also replaced some previous wiring and parts that did not comply with regs. Great communication, and very patient at answering my questions and helping me understand. Highly recommended

I can't recommend Land and Sea highly enough. I bought an Autoterm Heater for my sailing boat from Land and Sea last October and had it fitted by a local marine electrician.

However, it would not work and very long story short, with Martin's help and patience it is now working.

He immediately responded to every question (usually within minutes whatever day or time) and helped me deal with Autoterm when they weren't being helpful at all. He sent new parts for me to try to get the heater going and over the course of 3 months, many phone and video calls and emails we found the electrician had not installed the heater correctly.

It is honestly the best customer service I have probably ever seen and I cannot thank Martin enough.

Martin fitted an Autoterm diesel heater in my van and did an excellent job.

He also upgraded my full electrical system to lithium, which now lets me stay off grid for long periods with confidence.

While the van was with him, he spotted dangerous wiring left by the previous owner. He fixed it properly and made the system safe. That alone gave me real peace of mind.

Martin is skilled, thorough, and honest. I highly recommend him and will go straight back to him for any future work on my van.

Conversion
I read about Land and Sea on a forum so I gave Martin a call.
I'm building a horse box camper conversion and Martin helped me plan the build. He listened to what I wanted, advised every part of costing and compatability of what works with what.
He's supplied me with all the gear to do the work and as he understood I was keen to do it myself he gave me a wiring diagram and explained everything from start to finish.
I've lots to do but right now is I have a working electrical system.
I highly recommend Land and Sea to anyone doing any conversion work on a van big or small. He's made life so much easier and been there every step of the way to assist.

Martin is an absolute star, he made fitting our electric set up so easy and was always at the end of the phone to lend a hand. He sent us everything we needed as a pack then made all the wiring and labelled it to make it as easy as possible for my husband to install. Couldn't recommend him enough

Took my self build camper to Martin at Land and Sea for a full Victron electric system and a autoterm 2kw diesel installed and so glad that I did. From the first initial message explaining what my electrical needs were, Martin was great and knows his stuff, explaining thoroughly what system he thought would be best suited to my needs. Martins customer service and workmanship is 5⭐️+ and his work is very neat and tidy using all top quality items and goes above and beyond. I was sent pictures of every stage of the process and was constantly kept up to date. When collecting my vehicle I got a full run down on how everything works and how to get the best out of my setup. You can also be confident that your vehicle is in safe hands, as Martin takes so much care and respects your pride and joy to the highest of standards. I know very little about electrics of any sort. I can just about wire a plug and after buying my older Ford Transit Mk7 with the intention of making it in to a decent camper, a couple of weeks into ownership I thought that I’d never be able to take it out! Due to the shoddy, and in some spots quite dangerous hab electrics that the previous owner had installed I just didn’t feel safe in it. However… Martin of Land And Sea came to my rescue, and I’m so very glad I found him. He is an absolute gem! A thorough professional with a kind and empathetic ear. He understood what I needed for my little van, with absolutely no overselling. I had everything explained to me, including how the apps work with my newly installed kit. The actual work that he did was incredibly neat and perfectly placed so to not take up too much space in the van.
With Martin’s help I now feel confident and hopeful that I can get my van on the road, and start fulfilling a long-standing adventure dream.

Martin is a true specialist with extensive knowledge in electronic installations and systems for camper vans. He has been incredibly helpful to me throughout the process of diagnosing and resolving an issue with my Volkswagen Crafter installation.

Took our van to Martin after having it “professionally” converted by what can only be described as a cowboy. From the outset Martin was friendly and welcoming. He knows his stuff. He fitted us a new 3000w inverter and all necessary equipment. He also pointed out the shoddy workmanship the previous guy had done.

We now have the van we always wanted. Off grid or on grid we can cope with anything.

Massive thank you to Martin. In future I shan’t be going anywhere else for advice and equipment when the need arises.
