Came from the U.S

Came from the U.S. for a quick 4 night Amsterdam trip- Fantastic experience! Marianne did exceptional with the 20 women- She made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of during the time there. We cruised the canals, enjoyed the flowers of the Keukenhof garden, Amsterdam Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter and of course the Anne Frank house! ( some extras were the Heineken Experience, local markets and even running into the filming of one of Brad Pitt’s movies). Thanks Shareen - Can’t wait until the next adventure!

Highly recommend LWT

I have done three trips with Ladies Who Travel one in the Peak District at Shoreditch Farm to meet Shareen and get a feel for the group. Having had a fantastic time on the UK trip I then decided to explore further a field choosing Thailand and then Bali. I can honestly say I have had the best time of my life so far in Asia. Shareen is a kind and caring lady who puts everyone’s needs first to ensure you have the experience of a lifetime. Both trips were planned meticulously with a mixture of adventure, excitement and also spiritual calmness. I can honestly say joining this wonderful group is the best decision I have ever made meeting likeminded ladies who want to see the world. Embrace every opportunity join in and make new friends you will not regret it. Thankyou Shareen ❤️ xxx

I have been a member from early on and was apprehensive about joining in. A cancellation came up for a weekend in Laugharne and I had the best time. Surrounded by like minded ladies it was amazing and can’t believe it took me so long to join in. I’ve always found everyone friendly and welcoming. Beach walks and dinners followed and met new people every time and got to know others better. Bali was a revelation to me, I could never have imagined doing this on my own. Shareen was so supportive and I was pushed well and truly out of my comfort zone but in a good way. Done some amazing things like swimming with whale sharks and manta rays, which was truly incredible. Stayed in some great hotels and one night in a hostel which was more than we could ever have expected. Had the best adventures and made great friends. Croatia island hopping last August was more than I could have imagined too. Great people, full itinerary, time to relax, have fun and all done for you. Honestly Shareen and her daughters are experts in planning these holidays and always make you feel welcome, it takes out the stress of planning it yourself. I should have been in Jordan this week but Mr Trump stopped that. I will go again with LWT when things are safe again. Next month North Wales with a friend I have recruited to join and looking forward to meeting more people, trying something new white water rafting and kayaking over the aqueduct and making more memories. My family and friends can’t believe I’m doing these holidays and are amazed and pleased for me. My confidence has grown so much. I just want to do more and looking forward to what Shareen plans next 🙏☺️

Fantastic experience with Ladies who…

Fantastic experience with Ladies who Travel. I’ve been on a few trips, in the UK as well as further afield, always great fun with a warm welcoming group of ladies. Shareen puts a huge effort into the itinerary and making sure everything runs smoothly. She’s great at checking in with the ladies, especially first timers to ensure they feel at ease. Highly recommend this group and excited for my next trip with them this summer.

I am currently looking forward to my 4th international trip with LWT. I have also been on a weekend away in Wales and day meet ups. I joined originally as my family and friends didn’t have the same interest to travel and less sense of adventure. I didn’t want to continue procrastinating so put my ‘big girl pants’ on and booked to go to Morocco which was the first international trip ran by the group in May 2024. It really was wow! The thought and organisation that had gone into it was immense. I had no hesitation in booking again and have thoroughly enjoyed every trip. Shareen and her daughters are very welcoming. I have always felt included as part of the group and felt relaxed in their company. The group is supportive forming a whatsapp group for forthcoming events to discuss packing, currency, phone sims etc.
Like many others I was apprehensive about meeting other women and sharing a room with a ‘stranger’. However I have got to know several women that have been on the same trips so our get togethers have been like therapy!
I do believe that the group and the events has brought me so many positives to my life for which I’m extremely grateful for LWT! Thank you 💞 xx

I started out with the group when the…menopause was killing the ME I was

I started out with the group when the numbers were small. Visited and travelled with many since.
Nothing I love more than an afternoon tea, a good long walk, a swim.
People aren't my thing in general but especially now because of the extreme menopause I suffer. I nevertheless joined the group to challenge that behaviour. And I am delighted that I did.
Walked Chamonix, swam in Croatian waters, kayaked in Hay-on-Wye... among other things.
I get to do me, be me ... inserting myself, taking time out (from the shoppers 🤣) enjoying lush food.
I am grateful to Shareen for creating the group. Giving people like me an escape from the clutches of menopause despair. I have found her respectful of individual needs, available for a whine, supportive of a tear.
Of course people will form bonds of familiarity and it's inevitable that some will feel excluded because of that familiarity but I want to encourage everyone to set aside their resistance to embrace the experience. Insert yourself. The women on the tours are genuinely interested in you, your journey, having fun and enjoying a respite from everyday woes.
The secret to success is grabbing the bull and taking it for a run.

LWT - Fab Way to Travel

Recently returned from Vietnam (my third international trip) with Ladies Who Travel, having previously travelled to Thailand and Croatia with them last year. Had an amazing holiday with a fabulous, inspiring group of ladies. The trips are extremely well planned with great experiences for all to enjoy, including things I’d never do if planning myself! I love the fact that these amazing trips with Shareen are available and you literally jump in and get involved. I would not hesitate to recommend LWT and especially Shareen who really cares that everyone enjoys themselves and gets the most from their holiday. In fact roll on October for my next trip with LWT!

Ladies looking forward

I joined LWT about 18 months ago. Didn’t know much about the trips but joined to make new friends locally. I found after a life changing event that many friends simply weren’t there and I felt very lonely. I made the first step and joined a local meet up, did many more and have made some lovely friends that I now meet with often. I then made a big step and booked an international trip, it was so well organised and I met some lovely people. It was very daunting but I was made to feel welcome. I might not have got involved with everything as I would have years ago but I have booked more trips and I’m hoping each one I do will bring me back to my old self. Looking forward to many more memories and making new friends along the way. Haven’t regretted any of it, it’s been a god send when I needed it the most. Shareen has created a fantastic space for ladies, looking forward to what comes next xx

I booked my first trip with LWT to Bali…

I booked my first trip with LWT to Bali in Jun 25, was I nervous about travelling across the world by myself to meet 24 women I’d never met before - ABSOLUTELY- did I have the most amazing time - OMG yes I did! So much so, I booked my next trip to Vietnam as soon as I could - back 2 weeks now and still looking longingly at my photos wishing I was still there. Will I book again? Try stopping me! Here’s why, 1 - you meet the most inspiring ladies, people who have so much love and compassion and who genuinely just want to see the world and live their best lives. I’ve made friends for life. 2 - you get to see and experience things you just wouldn’t if you book a fly and flop holiday. The tours are well planned, a mixture of activities from sightseeing and culture to adventure and action - but only if you want to. The best thing is you don’t have to do any planning or organising as it’s all done for you, you just show up and enjoy! Hotels are great - never had a bad one and beds are always comfortable ❤️ Shareen genuinely cares that her guests have a great time and they enjoy their experience - a tough job managing the expectations of 20+ women, but the smiley faces in the photos say it all! Can’t wait for 2027 dates to come out!

LWT will change your life!

If I could give Shareen and Ladies Who Travel 100 ⭐️, I would!

I've been on 3 international trips to Bali, the Maldives and Vietnam in the last 12 months and can honestly say that this group has changed my life.

I have loads of friends, a wonderful partner and a full life, but I had no-one with either the time or the money to travel with and I prefer company to going it alone.

LWT has filled that gap with incredible tours, packing in fantastic experiences and truly getting under the skin of the country you visit.

I have met some fantastic women along the way and our Maldives group has continued to meet for a winter weekend away and we're planning trips together as well as hounding Shareen for further bucket list trips with the group!
I particularly love that she asks where you'd like to go and then puts together those trips!

I now count Shareen as a friend and truly appreciate what she has created for women to be able to confidently get way out of their comfort zone and make utterly amazing memories. ♥️

I can’t imagine life without LWT now ….

I have travelled with ladies who travel on 6 trips now 3 in UK and 3 abroad: Morocco, Thailand and Vietnam. Shareen always comes up with an interesting program with loads to do and see and plenty of variety. If you are looking for fly and flop tours you probably won’t like the high energy but if like me you come to see new places (or even familiar ones with a new perspective) make new friends and get out of my comfort zone by trying new activities then I can’t fault Shareen’s tours. There is always something new and unexpected even for a seasoned traveller. For those less confident there are lots of supportive women who help to ensure there are strong bonds across the group. I go home (or continue to travel when I can get away with being away longer) with a full and happy heart. I am glad I take so many photos as do others which we all share as once I get home I can hardly believe what I have seen and done

Amazing trip to Finland with LWT January 2026.

I had the best time with LWT when I went to Finland in January 2026. I joined a group of 15 strangers and left with a group of 15 friends. The trip did everything it promised and more. Shareen organised a trip that pushed me to try new things. Whoever would have known I’d love ice dipping in a frozen lake, or snow shoeing through a forest. The trip is carefully curated so that there’s lots of time to do those ‘big ticket’ items and also to spend time exploring alone. LWT have created holidays for women who come with their own stories and aren’t afraid to add to them. I had such a great time, I booked my next trip ( to the Arctic) before I’d come home. If you’re thinking of a LWT trip - jump right in! The best experiences are there for you to enjoy, explore and remember for a life time!

Great experiences with like minded women

I’ve just come back from a tour to Cambodia and Vietnam. It’s my second tour with Ladies Who Travel.
I’m so pleased I found this group as it enables me to travel to far away places with like minded women. Quite a few of the women knew each other from other tours and local meet ups and they have built a lovely connection between themselves. It’s lovely to watch (I’m an avid people watcher 😛)
There were also ladies on this tour that I met on the last tour, our connection became more friendlier more solid. There were also ladies on this tour who I had met for the first time and we connected so well. ALL ladies were supportive of each other, we all encouraged each other. We have all faced similar obstacles in our lives, treaded similar paths. It was a very safe space to talk about our hardships our successes our dreams. And we want to travel! Shereen puts on the most rewarding tours in my opinion, they are jammed packed with experiences I would never do with a partner or by myself but with a group of brilliant women, yes!
If you’re thinking of joining a tour, stop thinking, just do it - it’s daunting I know, but you’ll be so glad you did it x

I have traveled with this group both in the UK and zMaldives, Bali and Vietnam

I have traveled with this group both in the UK and zbriad. I like the set up of a host for between 12 and 24 ladies and have found many like minded ladies on the trips. The owner Shareen is knowledgeable and supportive and encourages ladies to live their best life. This type of group travel has been a revelation to me and I really enjoy it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I was honestly dreading this trip…

I was honestly dreading this trip before it even started, based on what I’d heard from previous travellers — and unfortunately, my concerns were completely justified.
While I’m glad I got the chance to meet other ladies, the experience was entirely overshadowed by Shareen Geers. She creates a cliquey, exclusionary atmosphere that completely contradicts the “supportive, empowering community” the company advertises. Existing groups are clearly favoured, and there’s no effort to make newcomers feel welcome.
Shareen’s behaviour was dismissive, intimidating, and at times downright hostile. She frequently made disparaging remarks, openly gatekept the group, and seemed more interested in asserting control than supporting travellers. If you speak up or challenge anything, you are blocked from the group. She also shared personal details inappropriately, making the environment uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Rather than fostering connection, inclusion, or empowerment, she made the trip feel tense, unpleasant, and toxic. I genuinely wish I had chosen a different tour company that actually lives up to its values and creates the inclusive, welcoming atmosphere it promises. I would not recommend travelling with Ladies Who Travel

Thank you for your review and for travelling with us again.

We’re genuinely pleased to hear how much your first tour meant to you and how strongly you connected with the original vision created by Shareen Geers. That sense of community and support remains at the heart of everything we do.

We are very sorry to read that your recent trip did not meet those expectations. Ensuring that every woman feels welcomed and included is extremely important to us and we take feedback like this seriously.

During the trip, Shareen made a point of checking in with guests, including speaking with you directly to ensure you were comfortable and enjoying the experience. At that time, no concerns were raised and your feedback during the trip was positive. While we understand that reflections can change, this meant we were not given the opportunity to address any concerns while the trip was ongoing.

We would also like to clarify that our values and ethos have not changed. Ladies Who Travel continues to operate with the same mission it was founded on, creating a supportive and inclusive space for women to explore the world together. With a global community of over 40,000 members, inclusivity is central to what we do and we would never exclude individuals based on familiarity or prior connections. Shareen cant exclude anyone 'if they don't know her' as with reflect, she doesn't know that many ladies.

We are concerned to read your comments regarding professionalism and privacy, as these do not reflect the standards we uphold. These points are being taken seriously.

For anyone reading this review, we always encourage looking at the wider experiences shared by our community. You can find hundreds of member stories and discussions in our Ladies Who Travel Facebook group, as well as a broad range of reviews here on Trustpilot, which reflect the experiences of many women who have travelled with us.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and would genuinely like the opportunity to address your concerns. We have made attempts to reach out privately to discuss this further, but have unfortunately not been able to connect. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can work toward a resolution.

I joined Ladies Who Travel expecting a…

I’ve been following Ladies Who Travel since the early days, and I actually participated in one of the trips when the group was relatively new. At that time, it didn’t feel like a business; it was a genuine community brought together by Shareen Geers.

That trip remains the best of my life. There was a raw, authentic energy to the group that came from Shareen’s original thesis: creating a "tribe" where women could find the credibility and confidence to explore the world together. Back then, we weren't just clients on an itinerary—we were a supportive circle of women conquering our fears and discovering new cultures side-by-side.
While it is wonderful to see how much the group has grown into a successful family-run enterprise, it saddens me to see it lose that original spark. As it has scaled into a more structured tour operator, it feels like the true meaning—that intimate, community-first spirit—has been overshadowed by the business model.

I joined this current tour expecting that same supportive community for solo travellers, but the reality was a cliquey environment where I felt completely excluded. Despite the group’s supposed mission to foster connection and confidence, most of the women had already travelled together multiple times and formed tight-knit circles. Even though I made numerous attempts to integrate, there was zero support from the leadership to help me feel welcome. When I went to raise this with the owner, Shareen Geers, was already discussing this with others and was dismissive—stating that women are responsible for their own efforts to fit in. This made it impossible to discuss the isolation I was feeling, despite being an experienced traveller who is comfortable being away from family.
The professional atmosphere was further undermined by the owner’s frequent and disparaging remarks about others in the industry. Shareen Geers openly spoke ill of former associates who now lead their own tours, creating an uncomfortable environment of gossip rather than the "empowerment" the group claims to champion. Furthermore, she displayed a surprising amount of ego regarding her own profile; she mocked new followers who asked for an introduction, questioning, "Who am I? I’ve a good mind not to let them on a trip if they don’t know who I am." This gatekeeping attitude and the public airing of professional grievances felt incredibly petty and at odds with a business that supposedly thrives on welcoming new solo travellers.
Most distressingly, Shareen chose to raise details of my private personal life in front of the other women. This breach of privacy was entirely inappropriate and deeply unprofessional for any business owner. I have never felt so alone on a trip, not because I was away from home, but because I was treated like an outsider by the very person meant to lead the group. I would not recommend this group to anyone looking for a genuine, inclusive travel community.
