Tried to get a test
Tried to get a test, but it couldn't be done because they had no ICE??!!! Tried to send me miles away to PERHAPS get it done? Come on now....
Terrible company
Terrible company, they never answer the phone. I went to take the exam for two days and I couldn't because their system was down. They gave me problems because of the codes and they had to take the exams two times because they were mediocre.
LABCORP sucks
LABCORP sucks. It took one week to get a antirejection level blood test that is 100% unacceptable they put my life in their hands. I’d rather take the blood out myself and and go to a DIFFERENT lab and have it tested!!!!
The Syracuse
The Syracuse, New York offices are Managed by an inexperienced & over zealous woman named Ashley she has no clue how to run any of these offices. She fires the good employees and keeps the ones that are stealing and getting overtime & some employees mileage paychecks are bigger than their regular paycheck.Certain people can drive all around on the clock at Lab Corp expense.
She actually hires Phlebotomist with no experience to stick your child. Let me say that again no experience.
Lab corp in the Syracuse area unfortunately, has the ability to be very successful unfortunately with Ashley Ross management they cannot even find temporary help through services to work because she fired the good employees last year
Ashley has No managerial skills or personality Lab Corp doesn’t have a chance in central New York with her As a manager overseeing the amount of offices that she does with no experience has been nothing but a catastrophe unable to hire unable to keep people. I do not know why Lab Corp keeps Ashley Ross.
Website states walk ins welcome (not true unless you pack a suitcase)
Website states walk ins welcome. So I walked in when they opened at 0630, I checked in at the kiosk, and it said my appointment is 1130!!!
What good is a walk in if they schedule you for 5 hours later. Not good when you already have fasted for 12 hrs. I could have saved a trip and scheduled myself.
If you need an appointment then state so, don't say walk ins welcome and then tell them to come back in 5 hours.

Just waited 45 min to pick up a container for a urine sample. 2001 Santa Monica Blvd. left without it. Most inept staff ever. Avoid this place at all costs.

My issue is with their billing department!!
After my exam, they didn't bill for near a year. From the first bill they acted like I had been a deadbeat and was trying to get out of paying their bill. I explained that I had just received my first statement!!
I processed their bill thru my online HSA account within a week of receiving their 1st email statement (yes, they billed via my personal email account!!)!!!
They received my payment via electronic payment - then billed me again, saying they hadn't received it!!
I sent proof of the electronic payment - they refused to accept the proof my HSA sent!
I am still fighting them - over a $26.49 dollar bill!!! They are threatening to turn me over to collections!!
I have changed doctors over this billing debacle - I called my doctor, whose office in housed within a large hospital chain, asking if I could request that they use a different lab for my lab tests - they refused to use anyone else! Because they are convenient for them to us!! LabCorp apparent has an office at the hospital!!
LabCorp are crooks!!
rude and unprofesional
We drove 250 miles from Grand Junction Co. to Durango Co. because your lab in Grand Junction has closed. The receptionist was very rude and completely unprofessional. We checked in and when we went to the counter the girl asked what clinic ordered the test. My wife couldn't remember so I answered. The girl then asked again and my wife answered. When the girl asked for the third time I enunciated clearly so she could understand. At that point the girl was very sharp and told me in no uncertain terms that she could understand my wife if I would stop answering for her. The girl obviously couldn't understand. My wife has had a head injury and for someone to tell me to, basically to shut up has no business dealing with the public. I have every right to help my wife when needed. On the other hand the girl that drew the blood was very sweet and polite and professional.
How is a company like this still in business?
I honestly don't understand how a company like this is still in business. Every review is terrible has been for years. Clearly their leadership and shareholders don't care about their customers whatsoever. Horrible customer service, extreme wait times, rude employees and good luck getting your results in a timely manner. When you have a question, their policy is to simply not answer. I have called a dozen times, no one answers the phone. No one returns voicemails. No one responds to emails. The worst organization I've ever encountered. It will remain this way until doctors and patients take their business elsewhere.
Turn-around-times advertised on the…
Turn-around-times advertised on the test menu do not reflect how long it takes to get results. There is no physical person to talk to about your lab results and a response days later is no help. Last time I use Labcorp!
Very unethical company
Extremely challenging and disappointing experience with Labcorp. In general, the local centers are good, but the corporate billing is very unethical. I have had numerous orders for lab work and unfortunately my insurance carrier, Anthem, was very delayed in getting them approved. Despite Anthem calling them and explaining there was a challenge that they were working on, Labcorp forced me to pay some of the bills directly instead of waiting for my insurance. And of course, they charged me the extraordinary and unreasonable amount verses the negotiated rate with Anthem. Once my insurance approved the claims (which they approved every one), naturally the amount I should have paid reduced tremendously. So I have an overpayment of over $600 to Labcorp. I called their billing office and they are refusing to even review it with me, let alone pay it back stating that Anthem has to work with them. Anthem has nothing to do with getting money back that I paid directly to a provider. I have all receipts, insurance claims, invoices from Labcorp, etc. Going to have to take legal action against them. Use a different laboratory company if you can
Shutdown This Lab and Hire Hygenic Staff
The two women working at the Piscataway NJ location on 10/17/2024 at 10:15 AM need to be fired. They go between patients and do not wash their hands. When asked to wash hands between patients the first woman went to the bathroom and ran the water without actually washing her hands. When called out on it she refused to wash her hands at the sink that was directly in front of me. The other woman stepped in and tried to just run water over her hands instead of using soap. Again, I called her out and she half heartedly ran some soap over her fingertips. These 2 women do not care about the health and safety of their patients and are creating huge liabilities for their parent company. God forbid there is cross contamination from their lack of hygiene. Someone could face serious infection or other issues. If anything happens to me Labcorp is facing a major lawsuit.
I wish I could give a zero star…
I wish I could give a zero star because that’s what they deserve. If you all know you won’t wait to talk to a customer, then stop sending a damn nil you should have sent to an insurance. You wait for this people to pick call, they pick and the next thing they hang up on you after you have waisted your time. This did not happen once or 2x. Horrible company . I wish no hospital should ever take my specimen to them. They are the most horrible company I have had to deal with. Nonsense
The Lab technician was very rude and…
The Lab technician was very rude and extremely unprofessional. I was the first to arrive at the waiting area and the first to check in. I watched 2 people who came after me go in before me. Once I was called inside I sat in lab chair and another person was finishing up. Technician was "busy" helping some kid with an email issue. The other person left only to return in about 5 minutes bleeding from the blood draw. This Guy was standing directly in front of me bleeding on the floor while the irresponsible tech was cleaning the blood off his arm. It was disgusting and very unsafe for myself and others. She went and drew blood from the kid who came in after me and when he left she bypassed me and called in another person. At this point I said something, she got mad and refused to continue, I wouldn't have allowed her to anyway, my comfort level was extremely low and I left and she told me to get something to eat as my blood sugar was low from waiting so long. I definitely will not be returning to that site. If I could have given 0 ⭐ Stars I would have. Absolutely the worst LabCorp service I have ever had. This incident took place inside the Mt Laurel NJ Walgreens.
LABCORP…Horrible place to deal with!!
what a horrendous experience at LabCorp! I’ve had to go there two separate times, and both times there was only one technician working, that was responsible for answering phones, customer check in, drawing blood, and aiding with anything else needed in the office… Totally set up to fail! my scheduled appointment wasn’t even in their computer system!
Everyone in the waiting room seemed very frustrated with this system, that wasn’t working for scheduled appointments or walk-ins… Everything was taking too long and there was no system set in place to run smoothly… I will never again again visit a LabCorp! Two different locations, chaos in both ones… Not with my time, my energy, my trouble or my frustration!
My sympathy went out to The one and only technician trying to do it all and stay sane. Shame, shame on you LabCorp! No one should have to be put through this process to make a paycheck!
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. The front desk is rude don’t pay any attention to you. They just stand there laughing and having a good time. But your waiting and waiting. Such a process just to draw blood.
Absolutely unprofessional
Absolutely unprofessional! They made a mistake in my surname and didn’t provide me with the results saying that only my doctor can get them, even though I received an email via « access » to the portal, but because they couldn’t verify my identity I couldn’t have the results. My doctor is OOO and they told me that they don’t care if I need the life crucial results now , I will not receive them. Never ever go to this lab!
Worst of the Worst Award
This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. We have tried to update our insurance 4 times to no avail. They keep holding onto the old insurance and sending a $900 bill for a blood draw that is covered by current insurance. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on. Companies like this one should be forced out of business for manipulating customers.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever. You can’t speak to a human and when you try to check in the auto checkin was down. We even knocked on the door heard people talking but they refused to answer the door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Just got $700 bill just for a one swab test. Where this prices are coming from. How people can afford go to a doctor and do any testing. Horrible. My insurance almost didn't cover any thing.
Next time if I have any issues, I just have to stay sick. I can't afford a simple testing. This lab is so greedy.
