Their collections associate is an absolutely disgusting human being and shouldn’t be allowed to talk to any clients, I have never in my life talked to someone so rude representing a business or working for one. They allowed someone to open a business in my name and I’m calling them telling them it wasn’t me and that I wasn’t aware of any of this. He then proceeds to tell me I can’t do anything but pay, what a joke this company is
Kurv allowed someone to open a business in my name with zero authentication. Took them forever to close it down, even after I reached out to them. Come Jan 31, they sent me a 1099 for the fraudulent business. So... thanks, Kurv, this has been a royal pain in the butt.

I don't want to mean but using there service is a everyday torture. They Hold Payments and tell us to call the customer and ask about there bank information, really? I mean you want us to do your job. I appreciate the verification and compliance but I cant call my customer and ask. I have every document to share with them, Bill of Lading, Insurance certificate and even the invoice from authorize.net. They have the worst customer service and technical guys. They are mean, harsh and rude. Feels like I am stuck with them. I don't know who is handling this company but they really need to learn how other merchants work. They have $25 fee every month and then there is a minimum fee of $49.50 and then 10% hold on every payment and hidden charges. We are making a living here and they have made it hell for us. Please do not sign up a contract with them, they have a hidden exit fee of $600. Please be aware.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company.
Initially, we signed an agreement that clearly mentioned a 10% reserve, which we accepted in good faith. However, without any prior notice, warning, or written amendment, the company suddenly placed a 100% reserve hold on our account.
All of our sales proceeds were fully held, which made it impossible to continue operations or provide services. There was no advance communication, no opportunity to resolve the issue beforehand, and no transparency.
Even after the company deducted the required amount from the reserve and confirmed that the reserve was cleared, they continued to hold the funds and extended the hold period by 14 days. This effectively shut down our business operations.
Placing a full reserve without notice and holding funds after recovery is unfair, disruptive, and unprofessional. This kind of practice creates serious cash-flow issues and puts merchants in an impossible position.
I would strongly advise other businesses to read the terms very carefully and be cautious before trusting this company with their funds.

I’ve owned my veteran-operated company for over 15 years, maintaining a flawless 5-star reputation. In all that time, I have never encountered a more disorganized, evasive, or unprofessional payment processor than KurvPay — previously known as Pasley and Electronic Merchant Systems. The constant name changes suddenly make a lot more sense.
1. Severe and Unexplained Holds on Customer Funds
A homeowner paid a $20,000 deposit on November 11th for a $26,055 fence installation project. This should have settled within 24–72 hours like every normal processor.
Instead, it turned into a three-week debacle:
Week-long “verification” with radio silence
$0 released for the entire first week
$9,000 released on Nov. 28 (Black Friday)
$5,400 released on Dec. 1
$5,600 STILL being held as of Dec. 2
Their justification?
“We’ll release the remaining balance after the fence is installed.”
This is not standard, acceptable, or even logical.
No reputable processor withholds a customer’s deposit until the job is completed.
We are contractors — not a bank. The processor doesn’t get to dictate our project timeline or cash flow.
They even demanded a copy of our materials quote as “proof” — something I’ve never heard of in 15 years of business.
2. Zero Transparency, Accountability, or Explanation
Across multiple calls, texts, and emails, not one employee at KurvPay/Pasley/EMS could explain:
Why the verification took a week
Why partial amounts were released at random
Why they were holding the remainder until completion
Why proof of materials was required
What policy justified any of this
We received no answers, no timelines, and no accountability.
Just contradictions, delays, and excuses
3. Unprofessional Customer Service and Stonewalling
When I asked for a corporate phone number to escalate the issue, the customer service representative refused — claiming I had “yelled” at her.
That is a blatant fabrication.
I want to be crystal clear:
I served in the military. Respect is part of my core values.
I do not yell at or demean people — ever.
But I will be firm, direct, and disciplined when something is wrong.
And in this case?
My tone was fully justified given the thousands of dollars they were withholding with no explanation.
They used a false accusation to block escalation — which is unacceptable behavior for any company, especially one handling large financial transactions.
4. Contract Traps, Hidden Fees, and No Accountability
Despite:
Paying $60 per month for almost a year
Using their service only a handful of times (most customers pay by check)
Their mishandling of our funds
Their role in damaging our customer relationship
…they still demanded a $500 cancellation fee.
This is predatory, plain and simple.
5. This Is Not Exaggerated — We Have Receipts
This review is 100% factual and backed by:
Phone call logs
Saved emails
Screenshots of text messages
Timestamps for every release
The customer’s statements and frustrations
I would gladly provide these receipts to anyone who doubts a single word.
6. Damage to Customer Trust
Our homeowner was upset, confused, and rightfully furious.
KurvPay’s incompetence made our company look unreliable — when in reality, we were the ones doing everything correctly.
No processor should ever put a business in that position.
BOTTOM LINE: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
KurvPay (formerly Pasley, formerly Electronic Merchant Systems) is a masterclass in:
poor communication
evasive customer service
unexplained fund holds
predatory cancellation fees
zero accountability
and deeply unprofessional behavior
There are many reputable payment processors out there.
This is absolutely not one of them.
Protect your business, your customers, and your sanity — stay far away from this company.

My friend recommended this merchant to me. I sell internet Company name is AB Connections. When I started processing transactions, the experience was good at first they even sent me two settlements. But after that, they put my account on hold. I understand that this is completely normal for payment processors.
When they asked for details, I provided everything they requested. It was only two transactions from the same customer. They kept my account on hold, which I cooperated with, but after waiting seven days they emailed me again saying they still couldn’t verify the customer details.
We are now sending them the details of new customers as they requested. I’ll keep you all updated on what happens next.
For now, I’m giving them 2 stars. I would gladly give 5 stars for all their other services, but the verification process is far too slow. I will update my review if things get resolved soon

I can see on here that everyone has the same absolutely ridicules experience i have ever had in 25 years with millions of transaction and never would imagine something on this level as a small business do not hire ems they will put you out of business i say again they will put you out business they do not care about you or your dream much less you company thy will hold your funds and will not return them evan long after the agreed time and all the step and things you need to show you will do that 3 times as i have and its been well over a year and they now want me to go through the process again for the same situation it is beyond me how idiotic these people are and frankly out of line in so many ways im appalled on so many levels its hard to even imagine DO NOT HIRE DO NOT HIRE DO NOT HIRE
