Funds disappeared from Account.

I have been using Kucoin for a over 3 years. There were few minor issues like assets getting decreased in USDT. Yesterday I transferred £300.00 to my SOL account and it just vanished. I can see the money has been credited to Kucoin account but they are not crediting into my account. Seems like they have started scamming people. They are demanding 80.00 dollars to recover the funds.

DO NOT USE KUMINING. It is a trap designed to drain your funds through hidden fees.

I purchased a Cloud Mining contract advertised with a highly attractive 110% APR. My order ID is 68ed0811465cb00001adad5f.
Instead of making a profit, I immediately lost money.

Here is the math that KuCoin Support officially confirmed to me in our email thread:

My Investment: 324.45 USDT.

Hidden "Electricity & Maintenance Fees": 229.32 USDT.

Fee Ratio: 70.6% of my money was taken instantly.

With a 70% fixed cost structure, achieving a 110% APR is mathematically impossible. Their "Static Estimate" calculator is deceptive marketing. Even with perfectly stable mining output (which I proved to them with screenshots), the contract is guaranteed to lose money.

When I confronted Support with this math, they admitted the loss. But instead of refunding my $35 loss, they offered me a useless $20 "Discount Coupon" to buy MORE mining contracts! When I demanded a cash refund to my Spot Wallet because I am leaving their platform, they refused, hiding behind "internal operational frameworks."

They would rather scam users with fake APRs and lose loyal customers than refund a $35 loss caused by their own misleading interface. Stay away from KuCoin and KuMining.

The app is very tricky, if it realized that a crypto is pumping, it let you only buy a small amount of it and than the moment you want to buy it gives you a 10% higher price where u realize that after you made the purchase.

I received a deposit from a client. I attempted to withdraw but forgot to convert. I was told to pay a conversion fee of $220 within 3 days in order for the funds to be release. I was not advised of any flactuations or holds. Just that the fee must be paid within 3 days. I adhered to this 3 day window pulling together the last of my money in order to receive this critical deposit. Once the fee is deposited, instead of receiving my funds within 10 minutes there is a 90 minute delay only to find out 35% of the funds have been converted. Im now told there is an additional $565 that i need to pay in order to convert the remaining 65% of my funds. Im at a loss, this feels unfair and predatory. I made it a point to ask for all disclosures upfront in order to avoid either delays. Im now bring blamed for 'delaying' the conversion fee payment when in actual fact is was paid within the 3 says window

Imagine the shock when I found out that even Binance(the biggest thief there is) will let you withdraw your crypto away when they stop serving your country of residence, but Kucoin won't.

This is the worst exchange ever. First they say trade and win dollars, and after completing the task they suddenly say you’re not eligible. What kind of scam is this?
On top of that, they’ve put a 24-hour restriction on my funds, so I can’t even withdraw.
Never ever recommend this exchange to anyone.

A Good platform, but there are sometimes to improve in the platform.

I use KuCoin Trading bot as my primary solution for trading as a beginner which is very easy in kucoin exchange. The service is very solid technically and the products of kucoin trading bot are awesome. There is a lot of options and AI trends.
I've encountered a visual bug in the mobile app a couple of times. The trading bot sometimes tooks a lot of time to load . It's a big deal because sometimes we should hurry to close the position, and it's a real headache. If they fix these minor issues with fast loading to get easy to access, it'll be a solid 5-star. Otherwise, the exchange is top-notch, and I'm especially pleased with the trading bots, which really make my life easier.

I used kucoin for several years now, although the only feature i'm using is deposit, spot trading, p2p exchange and withdrawals. Nothing major problem happens, only when they asked kyc which is very normal and im one of those who dont like kyc-required platform in crypto. But for peace of mind i used this instead of those local crypto exchanges in my country those are BS than having kucoin in my portfolio.

KUCOIN support departament is a joke. They dont understand simple questions and overuse copy paste answers. Also they can discontinue some services like KuCard withou proper prior notifications. One day notification before terminating your debit cards is just silly.

KuCoin has frozen my institutional account without providing any processing timeline, inventing non-existent regulations and claiming that they are acting based on requests from law enforcement allegedly related to me as a client — while refusing to specify which authorities are involved, provide any case reference number, or indicate what legal obligation they are acting under.

I strongly advise against keeping any funds on KuCoin. I am currently preparing a criminal complaint with the public prosecutor regarding a potential offense. There is no meaningful communication with KuCoin — exchanging emails feels like talking to a bot. They have withheld 28,000 USDT and provide no indication of when, or if, the funds will be released.

This is something I really value, especially when the market is moving fast. While there is still room for improvement in some areas, the combination of fair prices, stable trading performance, and diverse pairs makes KuCoin a reliable exchange for active traders.

Kucoin is scam.

I am sharing this publicly so the world knows what is happening inside KuCoin.

KuCoin has frozen my withdrawals without any warning, explanation, or proven issue. These funds are my personal savings, deposited from my own accounts, not from any third party, not illegal, not disputed.

There is NO rule violation on my side.
There is NO transparent reason given.
There is NO timeline provided.

Their support system is completely broken — copy-paste replies, vague excuses, and zero accountability. Every response feels like they are deliberately delaying while holding user funds hostage.

This is not “security.”
This is not “compliance.”
This is control over user money without consent.

If an exchange can freeze withdrawals without proof, without explanation, and without deadline, then your funds are never truly yours.

Today it’s me.

Dumb exchange! Tryed to unsubscribe 10000 times and anyway sending mails and spamming.

Never approach this platform, neither closely nor remotely.

KuCoin effectively wiped out 1 million USD worth of tokens from my account through a coin delisting. This was not an accident — it is a deliberate strategy. They calculate when and what to delist based on what is most profitable for them, regardless of the damage done to their users.

I was fully invested (all-in) in a single project. When the coin was delisted, my funds were trapped and effectively erased. There was no fair warning, no transparent process, and no real user protection.

If you value your money, choose any other exchange. Literally any platform is safer than KuCoin.

I am posting this as a serious warning:
KuCoin can ruin you financially.
Do not make the same mistake I did.

Their AI Spot Trend trading bot is a complete scam. It loses money under every configuration and is clearly designed to fool people. Crap.

A Total SCAM Website. They initially let US users join and deposit money, now they have every US user locked out of their accounts completely (not just barring from trading but also from accessing funds previously deposited). Which is one thing except that they ALSO are charging a monthly” inactivity” fee, when they’re the ones barring users from being active. Or in other words, they will flatly steal your money. I’ve read that they do the same for accounts that don’t meet the “minimum deposit requirement” as well. STAY AWAY and I hope these scammers eventually find their way in JAIL.

My account was hacked and all my funds stolen. Kucoin does nothing. Without my trading password my funds were swapped and withdrawn. Kucoin very uncooperative. Do not trust them.
