The Kotobee team does not keep its promises. After repeatedly promising that they would look into resolving a technical issue, they did nothing. Kotobee crashed every time I uploaded files. Six weeks later, Kotobee tech support still hasn't responded. Kotobee can handle simple cookie-cutter books, but don't expect any help when you need it.
We attempted to develop the necessary API to integrate my platform with Kotobee's Library which was not possible. Then, we attempted to connect with their eBook cloud. However, recently, Stripe has stopped providing Secret Keys for third-party website integrations, which means everything must now be done through automations. Unfortunately, Kotobee's support has been utterly unhelpful. I have never encountered such incompetence in a support staff. Nadeen, in particular, has proven to be completely ineffective. When I ask her direct questions, her responses are as evasive as a politician's, offering no real answers and only redirecting to irrelevant information.
It started to feel like the entire Kotobee company had been pirated and taken over by individuals who had no idea what they were doing. After several weeks of effort and thousands of dollars spent, I had no choice but to hire a development team to create a replacement for Kotobee's outdated platform, managed by irresponsible and incompetent personnel. Save your money, time, and sanity—unless you're considering integration via a platform like Shopify, you would be better off avoiding Kotobee altogether.
