Kondor Blue is amazing

Kondor Blue is amazing! They spent well over an hour helping me construct a perfect rig for filming with a smartphone. The service was amazing and outdone by the quality and rock-solid results. It was far better than the other solutions I'd tried in the past. Every time I use a Mini Lock Quick-Release it makes me smile. It's like Legos for adults. It's perfection.

CUSTOMER BEWARE I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience with Kondor Blue. Over the past few months, I've purchased a number of items from them and, unfortunately, I've found their customer service to be quite lacking. They have been unresponsive to my questions about their products, and initiating a return and refund has been equally frustrating. Moreover, I've noticed that their Chinese-manufactured products do not match the quality of those from Bright Tangerine, which are manufactured in the UK, or ARRI products, despite the pricing being roughly the same. Given these issues, I would highly recommend considering other manufacturers to avoid the hassle, disappointment, and sketchiness of Kondor Blue.

NEVER RECEIVED MY ITEMS

I placed an order worth approximately $1,200 on November 12, 2024, and have yet to receive anything. For the past month, I have repeatedly tried to contact their team through email, live chat, phone calls, and social media (Instagram and Facebook), but have been completely ignored. The one time I did manage to reach someone via their website’s chat, they immediately stopped responding as soon as I provided my order number.

Avoid this company at all costs. Their lack of communication and customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I would never purchase from them again and strongly advise others to do the same.

Can't reach customer support to troubleshoot inoperable item

I bought the USB-C HDMI capture card as a gift. When received, it worked on my PC with OBS but not with android devices. Android is listed as compatible on the product page and it says the device is UVC compliant. I tried it on a Samsung S10e and S21 with the USB Camera Pro app that I've used before with various UVC cameras and capture cards, but this product wouldn't appear on either device.

I tried contacting support in multiple ways to no avail.
Texting: On 12/25 I sent a text because it was the holiday and didn't get a response 9 days later.
Call: I called on 12/27 at 4pm PT but went to voicemail. I called on 12/30 and spoke with someone who noted they'd received various complaints from android users and that they'd forward it on to an engineer and I should hear back over call or text within a few hours. No call or text came. I called on 1/3 at 10:30am PT but went to voicemail twice.
Instagram: I tried sending an Instagram dm but got the system response "This account can't receive your message because they don't allow new message requests from everyone."
Chat: their website has a chat feature that I tried on 1/3 at 11am but said "Our offices are now closed. Our Support Hours are from Monday through Friday, 6 AM PST to 5 PM PST. We are closed for holidays and weekends."
FB Messenger: Sent a message but no response other than the auto "Thanks for messaging us. We try to be as responsive as possible. We'll get back to you soon."
Email: my last resort is to send an email before I return this

Maybe they get the whole two weeks off of Christmas and New Year's? I don't know

Kondor Blue is Customer Satisfaction, period!

Kondor Blue makes great camera products, anyone who uses them knows that. They’re not always cheap but you get what you pay for. Part of what you get for the price is superior customer service. I had reason to question this recently through a mistake of my own and found out in no uncertain terms that Kondor Blue and their team in Customer Service are devoted not just to their products, and those products performing for you, they are most devoted to their customers’ satisfaction. They proved that to me by showing that my concerns, which were proven to be wrong and for which I alone was responsible, doesn’t matter as much as my experience with their products does. In essence, on my flight through Customer Service, the nice people at the counter upgraded me to a first class seat for no other reason than they thought I should get the best. I can’t give more detail, but that’s it in a nutshell.

I now know that anything I buy from Kondor Blue will be backed up a thousand percent, and dealing with them will be painless.

Thanks CS Team at Kondor Blue! You folks are great.
