I am new here, trying to learn Komoot, to see if I might be able to take advantage of its offerings. I learned about "Saved Places". After 10 minutes of trying, I was unable to save a single place. I would enter my daughter's address, and it would pop up on the map, but there was never any option to save it. the "saved places" link remained empty. Humiliating.

Very good! Easy to use. Can see nice photos from other people

I have the full package and like the app a lot, especially when hiking and trail walking.
Planning trails etc. is pretty smooth and the voice guiding on the trails work as a charm.
Only issue is that when you contact support, most of it is AI and AI is not always the best choice in support.
I know you can sort out a lot of simple things and questions, but when it comes to more serious issues, then it should be a person handling the case.
I was in a challenge and nothing registered, not matter what I did according to "support" made it work. My guess is that all participants failed to register their hikes on that challenge.
Last reply was July 28th and after that I haven't heard anything from support.

Well worth the cost

Sometimes a Bit complicated and confusion but I Like to learn.

Great app for planning adventures.

Precise, full of reliable trails both in the free and upgraded version.

In the beginning it was more easyly to use the app. The latest modifications and the aggressively advertisement of versions to pay for, are going in the wrong direction. Please, go back to the roots of komoot….

Some routing misses or slightly out of date but generally good. Website wastes a lot of space and reduces list of rides in view on screen.
Rerouting good.

I do like the possibilities to build a route and the fact that the route changes depending on the type of bike you plan on using.
I don’t like the fact that the app when using mobile data quickly eats away all the data you have. Recently it used 6 GB in 3 hrs.
Now I make routes at home and download them on my phone, but that keeps me from changing the route while on the road.

Fantastic app, found loads of routes even around where I live which I didn’t even know existed

Excellent planning tool, realistic simulation of trip with wind impacts

Terrible route planning, filtering is over complicated and not well thought through.

Too much distraction when you open the app with all kind of functionalities and information that I don’t need. I only want to plan my tour,

Great source of Hiking suggestions. A bit expensive, though. Some maps are outdated, so for instance the one around Draunigl mountain.
