There was an incorrect address issue

There was an incorrect address issue, but the way the customer service team communicated and dealt with the issue to resolve it, with follow through was excellent

Amazing customer service

The matcha ordered was really good. And the ordering process was so easy. I had difficulties choosing a pickup point and the customer service was excellent to resolve the matter. They were very attentive and even involved pirate talk which made it very pleasant. 5 stars Plus

Deceived coffee consumer

I ordered 14 kg coffee beans from Koffiepiraat June 12, 2022. When unpacking the box noticed that one of the Lucaffe Mamma Lucia 1 kg bean bags had opened at the seam so that the beans were in the shipment box and the cardboard was coffee grease stained which means the beans were unusable. Lucaffe uses bags with seams, which can open if there is bad contact in manufacturing. Sent several mails and a photo of the opened seam and the beans all over the delivery box. They had not filled the delivery box with additional flling to prevent movement either. No, they are not responsible, was the answer. They demanded that I should have taken photos of the outside of the delivery box and the delivery label. Why? There were no damages to the box. They are trying to blame the shipping company. My wife saw the integrity of the box. You should be careful with your consumer rights. You pay for something you don't get.

Answer: avoiding waste? Cardboad pieces are recyclable and are light. CO2? Oh boy, coffee manufacturing, transportation, there is your CO2. Dont try to give an impression I havent sent you the photo.
” After offering a free replacement product, we haven't been able to make the experience better” Yes after I made your policies public blaming he shipping or that there should be picture of intact delivery box🤷‍♂️

Thank you for your order and for your review. We are very sorry that one of your ordered products was damaged during the delivery. This is not the experience we want for you or any of our clients. Our goal is happy clients.

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes things do get damaged during delivery. When this happens, we have procedures to follow. Including: asking for pictures, reporting the damage on time and resolving the issue for the client. It is really important to keep the box and the product until we have processed the claim. In this case we were not able to receive any of the required inforation.

Due to lack of information/pictures we were unable to report/investigate a manufacturing error with the coffee roaster or to file a claim with the shipper. We do not intentionally ship damaged products to our clients. All products are inspected and hand packed for shipment by our team.

After offering a free replacement product, we haven't been able to make the experience better. We are truly sorry that feel deceived.

It is our decision to use as little filling material as possible, because lots of extra filling and packaging creates excess waste and more CO2. We love not only coffee, but also our planet and do our best to minimize our environmental impact.

For us it is also disappointing that your product was damaged. Please feel free to contact us at Klantenservice@koffiepiraat.nl. Perhaps you shoukd look in your SPAM again. YOu said that several of our email were there. There has been no response to any of our emails for several weeks now.

If there is something we can do to turn your experience into a positive one, please let us know.
