I received a second Barcelona chair last Friday, in original sealed Knoll packaging and I regret to say that the quality is very poor!

Cushions and leather are perfect, but the frame appears with sanding marks, as if it came from a blacksmith and then had a round of chrome, so that all the underlying very bad processing is visible.
- It is professionally far far below average and really poor craftsmanship!

This is how Knoll writes on their website:
"Polished chrome, hand-ground and hand-buffed to a mirror finish."

A MIES BARCELONA CHAIR MUST APPEAR IN HIGHLY POLISHED CHROME, WITH A SURFACE IN WHICH YOU CAN MIRRORREFLECT; -AS IF THE CHROME WAS POURED OUT OF A CREAM JUG!

- It is unacceptable that Knoll delivers such poor quality!

-If I buy Barcelona chairs from another manufacturer, I get chairs with a perfect chrome surface!

I ordered a lamp during Black Friday sales, it arrived damaged. They rectified it and replaced with a new one. I was pretty stressed out about it after reading horrible reviews about other furniture companies and then going with this higher end company instead. I’m glad I risked it, they were worth it. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. The whole experience was handled with grace and professionalism. Thank you Knoll!! We will shop with you again!
