Three months on from this, and I wondered whether these have all now been actioned, and whether these reviews resulted in any remedial actions to prevent another customer suffering in the same way we did?

Really delighted

Really delighted with the exterior window shutter from Knall I just had fitted. It was to replace a previous one from a different Polish company. The quality of the shutter and the motor (which is almost silent) is remarkable. User friendly website; easy to order; lots of email updates; delivery to my door. I will absolutely use them again. Thank you!

I bought a shutter from knall but after…

I bought a shutter from knall but after less than 12 months, the strap at the top failed. It took them 6 weeks to send the part. Despite clearly telling them of a different postal address, they sent it to an old address. Very frustrating.

Having fitted them, it was clear another fault existed, which is probably what caused the strap to fail initially. The product was under warranty but they refused to accept this could possibly be a fault with their product.
As such, the warranty is worthless and provides no peace of mind at all.

They refused to provide a number to discuss with them. I had no choice but to purchase the replacement slats. Once again, despite now having told them FOUR times of our new address, they sent these to my old address, meaning a 25 mile round trip to collect. No apology was offered by Kamila.

Having finally got the parts, it became apparent that a special tool is needed to fit them, which I don't have. At this point, I gave up with trying to fix this knackered shutter.

I have wasted huge amounts of time trying to work with this company but there's no urgency, no attention to detail and no interest in customer satisfaction.

Good product, not so good customer experience

I placed several separate orders for venetian blinds. The products are great, but the customer experience can be improved.
1) On every occasion they have either sent a text late in the evening for a delivery the next day (no time indication) or they just phoned saying they will deliver in 1/2hr. No previous communication that they would deliver that day.
2) The fixtures are quite soft material and can easily bend and then don't work anymore. This happens easily, especially if you are new to the system and the blinds quite large and heavy. I asked for some spare replacement fixtures, and they wanted to charge £5 for each + £25 delivery costs. This is £45 for 4 replacement fixtures. For a company that is not the cheapest, I would have expected this to be just part of the delivery, no fuss. I ended up just buying on Amazon for £4.10 (4 fixtures). I can recommend for the product, but not for the experience.

Brilliant products!!

Just received my order could not be more happy brilliant product well made and very easy to install.. only thing I would love is a customer service number but the mobile number that I found online the guy was polite and when I was chasing up my order he got back to me straight away… will definitely use again brilliant!!!

Highly Recommend Knall Roller Shutters - Great Quality

Can't recommend these Knall Roller Shutters enough. Absolutely love them and great quality 👍🙂

We ordered two roller shutters on 2nd Feb and they were delivered on 2nd March, much sooner than expected 🙂 The large one 2.8m wide x 2.5m high to fit externally over a patio door - dropping to the floor and a smaller 1.9m x 1.4m fitting externally over a window, this one dropping to the windowsill.

The roller shutters are fabulous 👍 Well made, all aluminium and a great anthracite colour. We ordered them both with 5 channel remote controls (for the Aluprof RM45 40 motors), which can control each roller shutter independently or one controller can operate them both together. Really pleased 🙂

We had a couple of questions before ordering, so emailed Kamila who was very helpful - although I think their preferred communication method is email.

Just a note to help everyone: You need to read and re-read the online measuring instructions carefully before ordering. This is the most important bit 🤞 The dimensions are the overall sizes, including the width of the side rails and the size of the overhead box (which varies with the drop) - hence read & re-read everything, measure and re-measure...

I had to take into account the patio door sill, door stop and door handle, so needed to add a wooden frame to pack the roller shutters out from the external wall by 50mm so ordered the patio roller shutters with "angular guides" to cover the majority of the wooden frame sides (externally). I painted the wooden frame in Bedec multi surface paint satin anthracite paint (Toolstation) which matched the roller shutter colour exactly. The smaller window just needed the "straight guides", as this shutter fitted directly onto the wall.

Overall, we love the roller shutters, they are great quality and a brilliant finish. The house feels so much more secure with them too. Highly recommend Knall !!! It's a shame we can't attach photos...

Communication

I placed an order with KNALL several weeks ago I found that direct communication with them was non existent by telephone which would in the future prevent me dealing with them again at this time . The lady I was emailing appeared helpful but when I reported a shortfall in my ordered I was not understood and as all the items are not identified appropriately it was somewhat difficult to describe. It is a plastic handle that is attached to the tape for moving the shutter up and down manually. Kamila said they did not do this part any more and yet it is shown as a fundamental part f the assembly instructions. Fitment instructions are not detailed enough. { It would seem that they want to do the job} for the home DIY expert. My part is still missing, I will assemble myself, But I will not use them again

Terrible service

Terrible service.
Ordered some “free” samples. Was charged £5 for delivery. They arrived 6 weeks later with just a second class stamp and a further £1.50 postage needing to be paid..
Wrote to customer services to complain but heard nothing back.
Avoid.
