Do not trust this company.

If I could give -0 I would. My flight originally was changed twice and the third time it changed from flight to ground transportation. WTH! They email me an option to cancel my booking which I did and re booked it with a different airline, and now they said they will give me a voucher for not even 20% of what I paid and also a reimbursement for the 1% of the total amount. Are you out of your mind? It's even rude to send such and email. I am beyond frustrated with this situation. DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI! Trust me. Google the company before buying tickets, check for reviews and then make a decision. This is unacceptable and it's not fair for companies like this one to disrespect your time and your money. Lesson learned.

This company is clearly a scam company – stay away!!

This company is clearly a scam! It’s beyond me how they are still allowed to operate. I purchased tickets through them for $2326. The day after I got a message from them that my flight was cancelled. Fast forward several months of pleading – I get refunded for $49 (!!) and $671 in Kiwi credit that I will obviously never use since it is completely useless! I hope I can at least warn others – don’t use them!!!

KIWI is a SCAM of the HIGHEST ORDER

KIWI is a SCAM of the HIGHEST DEGREE---
One month after my complaint / review was posted, ONE MONTH LATER, a Kiwi customer service rep decides to contact me and EXPLAIN their position INSTEAD of addressing my complaints.
They mentioned that their phone number can be found at the bottom of the document they sent me (after my purchase) but what they DO NOT mention is that every time you call that number, it goes nowhere.
JUST LIKE the e mail they sent me to explain their position--- one tries to reply or respond and the LINK or the email goes to THE DEAD ZONE... it goes nowhere. You can not repsond to them.
They write a lot of drivel, platitudes about customer service and all, but neither their phone , e mail is prominently posted on their media, nor when you call / write can you get anywhere-- it goes into the abiss a black hole of BS.

STAY AWAY… if there was zero stars…

STAY AWAY… if there was zero stars that’s what I’d use. Just look at their ratings. 1.9 that’s so bad. They ripped me off and loads of others. I booked a flight for 31 July. When I received my confirmation, it came back 31 October. I reached out to them instantly, to tell them of their mistake. (They didn’t get back to me in WEEKS). So I had to by another flight costing over £300 as I was travelling in 48 hours time.

Play the tape forward to when they could be bothered to respond, and I get automated waffle with no accountability. So now I’m warning all that will listen. Please just stay away from these bandits.

CEO of Kiwi.com Oliver Dlouhý. Reshape your whole approach to the company’s lack of accountability. When some requests their own money back for a service they can not use. Remember the customer comes first. How people are treated by companies such as yourself is disgraceful. Thank god for platforms like this one to shine a light on disgraceful going on in companies like yours.

I want MY money returned to ME. It’s this simple. Stop stealing peoples money and using some excuses. It’s my money not yours.

If someone wants to do something they will find a way, if they don’t they will find an excuse. Which one are YOU Oliver Dlouhý.

Unfortunately a big "No" to Kiwi.com

Unfortunately a big "No" to Kiwi.com
The amount of frustration is beyond words. Their "amazing" booking system has caused me + 4 other ppl not being allowed to board a flight from Vienna to London. Their "check in" form offers options to fill in either: ID card or Passport number. I've choosen ID card just because i've been always travelling to UK with it. Brexit changed this and now passport is the only valid document one can travel with to UK. But Kiwi.com allows you to fill in the details of your ID card without mentioning a single word about that it is illegal to travel with it to UK..They will prepare your boarding tickets without a single note: "Hey you won't go through with it !!!" So basically you trust their web to have relevant info and not offering options that will leave you desperate at the airport. If i were the only one stupid guy who trusts the world around and not triple checking everything. But we were 5 of us on one flight! That should be a big red button for a company. Trip i've been preparing for months, paid for accomodation in London, parking in Vienna, lots of financial loss. When i tried to seek for help, the agent was like: yeah we can't take any responsibility for this, ppl have to check it on their own. I dissagree. Their form is directly missleading or asking for wrong information. 5 ppl on one flight speaks for everything. They reminds you 3 times to add extra luggage but no single info about your ID document that will leave you out !!! That's very wrong. I would be more then happy to say something positive. I'm not negative "complaining" type. Yeah the process of booking is smooth. But it's too painful experience. Been heading to a long planned opening of an international art show where i was one of the presenting artist. Apparently i am not able to find alternative journey, it's too late and gone for me.
I trusted Kiwi.com website i trusted their system. I trusted when they ask for an ID- i should provide it. And so i did..Still don't get it. Yeah, for me this experience is just too bad.

Booked a flight with Kiwi-BAD!

Booked a flight with Kiwi after finding it on Kayak. Within 12 hours of booking I get an email that the airline cancelled the flight (6 weeks out), I might not get a full refund and it may take up to 3 months to get it. I think I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.

Booked 3 round trip plane tickets…

Booked 3 round trip plane tickets through Kiwi and upon receiving my confirmation email, discovered that they only gave me a one way. Called immediately to see where the return flight was and was told it was only a one way. Customer service was brutal and had absolutely zero remorse nor would they add the ticket back home or refund the money to look for a new round trip flight. I would recommend to avoid Kiwi at all costs.

DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI.

DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI.

I was trying to book a flight for my best friend to come see me, and my phone auto corrected my name after I had typed hers in and I didn’t realize until immediately after I paid and received the confirmation. Instantly I chose the “change pssenger details” button and updated to her name, it said “processing” it was a holiday and a weekend so I waited a few days but I checked in and it still said processing and so I contacted them and said name could not be changed and no refund given, so a useless flight and over $200 stolen from me. Terrible customer service and a scam

I paid for trial package

I paid for trial package, I canceled before my 3 days were up because the information provided was useless and this company charged me a 5.95 termination fee. The information that this company provided was lackluster at best...very generic, you can find out more information on someone by using Google. I emailed customer service on 9/7/2021 and politely requested a refund and was denied. I will be filing with BBB...this company is TRASH! They are not providing the information as they have advertised...since they insist on keeping my 5.95 then I will make them earn it, by filing with BBB and Kiwi will have to pay someone who makes more than 5.95 an hour to respond. Use BEEN VERIFIED....they provide detailed, useful and accurate information! Plus BEEN VERIFIED customer service rocks! I wish I could have rated Kiwi Search a -1 .

Claiming you can do things you can not and charging $$for it is fraud…

I read their ad that said they can pinpoint the location of a phone by entering the phone number, so I moved forward. When I got to the sign in page it was create an account and either try them out with a trial period for .99 cents and cancel any time. No charges unless I don't cancel and then it was 29.99 per month.
Kiwi is new to me and I have tried them all out. With new tech coming at lightening speed I paid for the trial.
It didn't even take me 5 minutes to figure out that they could not deliver what they said they could. I logged off and called the cancellation number immediately and to them I wanted to cancel and I wanted a refund. I then emailed them to let them know about what I considered to be fraudulent practices and requested a refund. But get this...
Before I wrote the email I thought I would check my card and what they had done in that short of time isbto bill me .99 cents for trial, another 5.98 or so and the $29.99 for the subscription. So, i was supposed to have 3 days but they automatically billed me on same day. I also placed that in my email to them. When I got a response it was that I should have had a live chat with an agent if I had any questions about billing. Very sarcastically I might add.couple more emails to no avail. In process of reporting to BBB. They have many complaints of the same nature on kiwi. Why do they let them continue to scam people I don't know.
Thats my experience so beware and don't even go past the Google search on this one.

Absolutely crooked!

Absolutely crooked!! If I could give zero or even negative stars, I would.
Signed up for the low cost trial because we were trying to locate someone who had stolen a vehicle from us. We ran their phone number and got a report.
Our first problem is, you have to subscribe to their monthly service AND then you have to pay an additional $30 for the reports, which is in small print at the bottom of the page when you’re requesting the report so, unless you’re expecting to have to pay additional charges for their services, is easily missed. We missed it until we received the email confirming the purchase of the report.
Then, I decided to do a search on my phone number just to see how accurate the results were. It showed me over an hour away in an area that I had not lived in for over 5 years. Absolutely and completely inaccurate.
I contacted them just minutes after setting up the subscription. First, I told them I wanted to cancel and get a refund and explained what I had done and that my reason for wanting a refund was that the results were not at all accurate. She said she would cancel it and I could continue to use their services for the remainder of the paid period.
I had to tell her a second time that I just wanted a refund and that I did not want to continue to use their services because their services were inaccurate. I was told I would receive a refund for all monies paid, including the report. I received an email confirmation from James Williams that my subscription had been canceled and my refund had been issued on July 2nd. I waited the full amount of time I was told it would take to get my refund, checked my credit card, and there was no refund.
I proceeded to send an email to James Williams. He apologized for the delay and said there was an issue with their server and to wait an additional 2-3 business days for the refund to be credited. It never was.
I contacted him again 10 days/8 business days later letting him know and asking again for the status of my refund.
He replied stating that he had placed a tracer on my refund, that I should receive it within 3 days, and to let him know when I received it. Again it never showed.
I contacted him again stating it had been 12 days and asking what their tracer showed and why I had still not received my refund. His response was to tell me that I should have asked all questions before subscribing to their services to eliminate post purchase issues and sent me links to their terms and conditions and refund policy.
Apparently, they had never actually issued a refund and had no intention of doing so and had just been running me some in circles hoping I would just drop it and go away.
VERY untrustworthy and faulty service. RUN FAST or get taken for an unwanted ride.
