Absolutely atrocious company

Absolutely atrocious company. I've emailed them at least 10 times and haven't received a single response, despite them having taken my payment. I made a simple error with my email address and have tried multiple times to clarify the situation, but they've completely ignored all of my messages. At this point, I’ll have to go through my bank to request a refund. Truly shameful customer service — I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

You were informed that our email team would respond to you within 24-48 hours. Our Customer Care team sent an email to you requesting additional information within the 48-hour timeframe, but you never responded to it.

On June 16, via a different email account (from email account B), you sent a new email. Again, our AI agent responded to you, and you sent an additional 4 email replies, and our AI agent advised that your email would be routed to the care team for review after you had been informed of a 24-48 hour response timeframe. This new email would normally be replied to by June 18 (today is June 17).

On June 17, 30 minutes before your review on this website, you sent a new email (again from email account B), and our AI agent advised that your new email would be routed to the team and that there is a 24-48 hour response time. This email would normally receive a reply by June 19.

While we understand that you have a concern that needs to be resolved from a mistake you made in your order, we have responded to you, asked for additional information, and you’ve not yet replied or provided that information to us, and your new emails are now in the queue to be answered. Kiwi.com Is a Scam – 100% Refund Is a Lie

Do NOT book with Kiwi.com. This company is a straight-up scam. I bought two tickets that were clearly marked 100% refundable if canceled at least 48 hours before departure. I canceled more than 48 hours in advance, followed every single rule, and they are still refusing to refund my money.

Their so-called “refund policy” is just a marketing trick to lure people in. Once they have your money, good luck getting any of it back. Customer service is a complete joke – unhelpful, evasive, and clearly trained to wear you down until you give up. They hide behind vague excuses and don’t even try to explain why they’re breaking their own terms.

This is a predatory company that takes advantage of travelers. They lie about refunds, ignore fair cancellation requests, and treat customers like garbage. I wouldn’t trust Kiwi.com to book a bus ride, let alone a flight. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being robbed.

Shame on Kiwi.com for scamming honest people and refusing to honor their own policies. I’ll be reporting them everywhere possible.

Terrible customer service and problematic components.

2 crates came without working parts, and when their renewal subscription emails went to my Spam, they just continued to charge me. I did NOT sign up for a year, I only signed up for 3 months.

Customer service is snotty and brusque. As well, one crate was far too difficult for my 6 year old. I would NOT recommend kiwico, based on customer service alone.

Hi there, Sorry to hear that you're not happy with the service you received. We'd like to provide additional context to ensure your issue is correctly represented.

It is true that you never signed up for a 12-month membership, however, you did sign up for a quarterly payment plan for both memberships you purchased. At the time of your order, you gave authorization to automatically bill your credit card every 3 months until you canceled the membership.

We sent two email reminders on May 1 advising that your memberships would auto-renew the following week, yet no action was ever taken to prevent this. While you have just now confirmed that these email notifications were received, it's too bad they were missed, as they could have helped you avoid the renewal charges. Since no action was taken to prevent the charges, the system renewed your memberships for another three months, as was requested with your original purchase. While we do our best to alert customers to what they have purchased, we understand that sometimes these efforts are missed or overlooked.

Regarding your interaction with our team member, in listening to the call, the agent was kind and tried to explain how the charges happened, but it seems that you did not want to hear this and interrupted the agent multiple times. The agent did offer to cancel and fully refund both of your renewed memberships, and you accepted this resolution.

As for the difficulty level of our crates, while some crates do present challenges, they are all designed to be developmentally age-appropriate. For future reference, you have the option to adjust the crate line to something easier or more challenging if your current crate selection is not the best fit for your child.

I spent $200 and did not receive a single crate. I have attempted to contact KiwiCo multiple times and their communication is incredibly poor but they will bombard you with promotional emails.
Horrible service!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The only way I could get into contact with company was to make an international call at my cost. The customer service rep was appalling and said she would email me back. I have heard NOTHING.

The name KiwiCo is incredibly misleading as you would assume it is from NZ, it is actually a US Company that is incredibly difficult to get into contact with.

Based on the tracking, it is still route with your local carrier and this delay is outside of our control. We apologize for the replied emails that might of been missed as some of our emails can end up in the spam folders. When you reached out to our team via phone, we've assist you with a full refund and we can confirm that your membership is canceled. We want to thank you for taking your time and letting us know. Great customer service… except when you actually need it!

I was subscribed to Kiwico for more than a year and had received very nice service this whole time. After my last renewal I decided to cancel it for financial reasons.

I have never received my crate and it’s been 2 whole months. I contacted customer service after 3-4 weeks to let them know that my shipping link was not updating and that I had not received anything. They told me they would send a new one after I confirmed my info. I did and waited.

After another 3 weeks, no crate. I write another email, they tell me I never confirmed my information. I answer back with the previous email thread and since no more answer from the customer service.
I asked them to reimburse me, still no answer after a whole week!

This is highly unscrupulous behaviour.

Web site bad not informitive. Cust service helpful

The cust service was very helpful and responded quickly. The issue completly non transparent as to status of shipments. I should be readly see all packages shipped. That is frustrating.

Customer care is courteous

Customer care is courteous, considerate and on the ball. Unfortunately I cannot review your crates as I do not have them, even though the tracking status describes them as delivered. Your courier service of choice is infamous, in the UK, for its poor performance.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Was upset with a first order and planning not to even deal with it but they proactively reached out to ask what happened and resolved it swiftly. I would consider their subscription based on this alone
