Get my writing career off the ground!

I finally found that perfect means of getting my writing career off the ground, and I'd say KDP is excellent to work with. Ava has been especially patient and helpful throughout the process. Her support made a big difference.

Their website is a 404 even linked from here. They tried to charge my credit card via 2 different companies: corepixelinc and marketingpros for $1250 each for editing 465 pages I couldn't afford to have done with respectable editors. I was in such a hurry and angst taking care of a hospice family member, I missed the 'S' on publisningS, not amazon. And even though I mentioned being on caregiver overload and they still did this to me. Look out! I'm on a couple different amazon email lists so I overlooked the scam detail on a professional looking newsletter advertising a Christmas special. So, 1.5 hrs calling the bank's fraud department. Handled. And cancelling the card, getting new, then more hours I don't have to donate redoing all the autopays on that card. Thanks *. God will repay you 1000fold.

Later same day, Sean did email twice to explain and apologize. But... I'm letting my leading edge work sit in a heap with the rest of my 'stuff' for The Great Awakening, circa 1980s. Doesn't the Divine always forget about the cost of things? Show me the money. Namaste.

My bank has gone after them and have gotten my money back!

My bank has gone after them and after 2 months of them refusing, 12/12, 2025, my bank recovered. They use a very obscure payment system that I've never heard of "Engage Sphere".

They are criminals and that is absolute. Their service is miserable, they have little command of the English language, use AI so, so much for lyrical writing AI eats that for breakfast and for lunch, punctuation and dinner, they steal your money.

Liars and thieves. Two months ago I received an email from a guy with a fake name, they all have fake names because their real names are from the Middle East and it might be scary.
"Hi Larry,
Your request has been processed and approved. We'll share the refund receipt with you within 24 hours.
You can follow up on the progress of the refund with your financial institution using the receipt we'll share with you to check on the status of your refund.
Regards,
Elias"

A lie, nothing came until my bank brought me my money. And, another very important item; I asked for my manuscript back and crickets. . .

Later:
This came from Mia Patrick about them illegally using the Kindle Logo:
"Larry this is helpful, thanks for letting us know. We will make sure they don’t use our logo and misguide Authors like you."

This is actually hilarious; Mia Patrick's company uses Kindle Direct Publishing's logo. The company, get this is Kinetic Direct Publishing which is buried in the logo and concocted to look like "Kindle." Kinetic-Kindle, you be the judge. All a pack of criminal in which this kind of usage-behavior is acceptable.

Later, from the liars:
Hi Larry,
"Please check with your bank your refund was processed long time ago and it’s showing as successful."
No, not anything but more lies.
My theory is that this is a "company" from a group of teenagers in their parent's bedrooms concocting a "publishing company." They need to be spanked and taught a lesson or two on honesty. Being this type of business can be run by teenagers in bedrooms, anywhere in the world, watch out for these crooks and they are bereft of the skills to do literature, AI is what they use so go to Spines, Kindle or Palmetto, North American companies. The self-publishing industry are 90% out of our country.
