Warning SCAM company
Kilmore & Co pretend to be an Australian business but they are not. Their website is very convincing and they have an Australian address and Australian mobile number.
I ordered an XS white puffer jacket that looked amazing on their website. Didn't hear anything for a week and tried the mobile (several times) that seemed to divert to overseas and then rang out.
I filled in an online form on their website - didn't hear anything but in the Shop app, there was movement at least. Your order is being processed.
Finally got shipping info - the jacket was coming from China.
A jacket did arrive (I was surprised by this stage that something actually arrived) and it was a gross, oversized, beige jacket of some kind, that was of extreme poor quality.
Their website says you can get a full refund if you return the item, unworn, etc within 30 days and to start the process, you email them.
My emails just won't go through.
I also tried to contact them via Instagram (several times) - have heard nothing.
I just tried emailing from my work email (thinking they had blocked my hotmail email) only to find that didn't get delivered either.
And trying to call the mobile now just doesn't do anything - doesn't say it is disconnected, doesn't ring, the call just falls out.
I have absolutely been ripped off. I paid $69.95 for what looked like a really nice jacket on a really nice, authentic looking website.
There is an Australian residential address on their website (in Sydney) - I now wonder if this person either owns the company, running a full scam operation or if it is an innocent person who doesn't know their home address is being used.
I live in Sydney and would love to go and knock on the door but because there are so many crazy people out there, I'd rather not risk my life over $69.95.
At least if I write this review (wish I could give zero stars) it might help someone else not get ripped off as well.
