I did 2 weeks with Kilimanjaro and beyond tours & safaris in April. It couldn’t not have been a better trip (well except for the freezing cold snow and wind on summit day!). I had wanted to climb Kilimanjaro for years.(Kilimanjaro and Serengeti) I accomplished both goals. We did an 9 day Northern Circuit Route and then 4 day Safari! Kilimanjaro and beyond was fantastic. What made the trip extra special were the guides and porters that Kilimanjaro and beyond employed! It is not possible to climb the mountain without their hard work and our guides on the mountain definitely made you feel like you came first! Meshak, Ewald, and Deo were our guides!
The Safari was equally as great! I loved the hotel, and I have to say seeing lions in the wild really is something! Deo, ton and pantaleo were our safari guides and they were equally as great at their job and fun to be around as the Kilimanjaro guides!

Overall, an excellent experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We spend a week with Deo and our driver Usain on Safari. They made our time in Tanzania unforgettable.
We couldn’t have asked for a better team to show us around on this trip. We saw lots of animals, had many laughs together and just spend a perfect week together. Deo even took us to a pub on the last night.
We really enjoyed our time and highly recommend kilimanjaroandbeyond!!

We did the 8/day LEMOSHO ROUTE and a 4/day SAFARI'S with Kilimanjaro and beyond Tour & Safari's both were absolutely incredible experiences and lovely. With our guide. Max& Meshack, and this porter Dan... One thing I love about Kilimanjaro and beyond Tour & Safari's is that they are a local company that gives back to the local community (Stella Maris school) and treats their porters and guides very well, and they are also incredibly professional and well run. Cannot recommend Kilimanjaro and beyond Tour & Safari's highly enough!

For Kili, our entire trek team took great care of us and was a joy to be around. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip and a successful summit (which we did). The food was delicious, and they accommodated our vegetarian diet no problem. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. They were not only super experienced and knowledgeable about anything and everything related to the trek and the mountain, but also had incredibly friendly and enjoyable personalities.

For safari, our guide (Ton) was fantastic and make sure we had the exact experience we wanted. We saw SO much Big 5 Animal, and it was clear a big part of our success in sightings was due to his experience understanding where to go and when like Serengeti he now all the road. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about all of the wildlife we saw, which is key to appreciating the safari experience. The places we stayed throughout are safari were incredible(SERENGETI SAFARI'S LODGE). I couldn’t have imagined better, more unique lodging choices. As with Kilimanjaro, the food and coffee served was wonderfully the entire time.

We did an 8days Hike up Mt Kilimanjaro.
The team looked after us well and mostly importantly on summit night. The camp site spots were well picked, not too far from finish point and the food was good. Well done to the team.

I just came back from a 20 day trip to the Kilimanjaro region. We traveled all over the region and went on several days trip and a 2 day trip to the Monduli District and immersed ourselves in the Maasai culture. We hiked to the Materuni waterfalls, kayaked at Lake Chala and visited a sugar plantation
I was so worried about Covid and I was going to cancel my trip but I decided to go anyway. I am sure glad I did. Their main goal was to ensure my health and safety. I am happy to say I came home and proactively got a Covid test and it was negative. I was truly in good hands!

LIFETIME Experience! Acommadations were amazing, the food excellent. The safari was above our expectations.Ton, was the best guide And company for this amazing trip. Very professional, friendly and always willing to make us happy! The truck is super comfortable, with wifi, charger..we super recommend the experience could not have been better! We came in covid situation and everything was amazing! So we recommend kilimanjaro and beyond is best ever

Best experience with Kilimanjaro and Beyond in my life so far! I Climb during this COVID 19 with Deo and His Team he arranges well and His Treatment was amazing from start we worried about COVID 19 But Deo and His team Courage us and we recommend him for Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro During this COVID 19 based on his Treatment and Healthy check, this Machame route was amazing, many beautiful views, good organization from the Kilimanjaro and Beyond. We booked our trip only one week before on 14 May 2020 and the company managed to organize everything very fast, Actually, we live in Tanzania But we are from Canada and There Price charges are Reasonable. We didn't have any equipment with us so we needed to rent everything from there Company. Of course, it wasn't as comfortable as using your own equipment but I was surprised how good the quality was, and their food was so amazing Machame route wasn't very hard until the summit. Summit was the hardest, can say that all the days before were just like a game to compare to the 5.30-6h walk up the hill in a snowstorm during the night. But arriving at the top and seeing amazing views was worth the effort and money! I definitely suggest everybody go and try it out but the raining season is probably not the best time when to visit Kilimanjaro even though we had some sunny days as well. We looked for a local climbing company and found it: Kilimanjaro and Beyond. You can stop looking for others; they’re the best!
We (father and daughter) climbed with Deo and Jerome first Mount Meru (4 days, nature pure, lots of animals, beautyful scenery, good infrastructure in the camps).
Then we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via Northern Circuit (8 days, Top-Route with still very few people, very diversified landscapes away from the crowds). At the end, we went for a 3-days Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
Deo and Jerome are excellent guides, humble and honest, always caring for you at every single moment. Thanks to the whole awesome crew, who did really everything to make you enjoy the life on the mountain!
Our propositions and ideas were always welcome. So we asked for some sidetrips and discovered amazing spots away from the main routes.
And then the kitchen! For sure we took some kilos with all the excellent plates prepared with love and fresh food by our Star-Chef Pantaleo!!!

The team not only helped me to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, but also showed the most availability and helpfulness before and after my travel. So, I would like to emphasise on something that they did and were not paid for.
My visa issuing procedure had some difficulties and Calvin and Deo helped me a lot with that. Actually, without their help I couldn't get the visa at all.
During the ascent, the whole team was very kind and they even provided warm lunch for me while we were hiking, even on the 4000 meters. Pasquale was very kind with me and was joking with me a lot to cheer me up!
After the travel, I had my phone broken (what a misfortune :/ ) and lost all the photos that Deo had already sent me once. He kindly resent me them all.

We recommand deo ans his team for this trip... Climb Kilimandjaro was hard but so good !!

Deo and his team were excellent.
- He was often one of the more knowledgeable guides on the trail (various other company leads would seek his guidance)
- Deo answered all of our questions about the terrain and vegetation, Tanzanian history, and his passion for climbing with great patience and detail.
- He managed his team of 12 men in a humble and professional manner.

The 7 day trek was challenging, but never daunting. The descent from the summit was the most challenging day for us, and Deo and his guide assistant did everything they could to ensure my partner did not endanger herself after what appeared to be symptoms of mild heat stroke. They guided her down the summit, with each one of them at her side pausing every 3 steps along the icy and then sandy descent. We put our lives in their hands, and we never doubted their abilities to guide us to more manageable footing.

They maintained an encouraging and matter of fact attitude throughout the journey, and always kept at our pace. Deo was strategic in leaving camps early/late, and accelerating/decelerating along the trail so that we avoided large packs of tourists.

Lastly, the team he managed was truly exceptional. From the food, joyous morale, and efficient mode of working, they made a week's long journey as welcoming and safe as possible. Deo is a true professional at his craft, and exceptional manager of people -- both of ambitious clients (like us) and his hardworking team.

I went on safari with Jimmy twice in 2012, both times to Ngorogoro and Serengeti. First of all safari is amazing and is something that shouldn't be missed if you can help it. But second, Jimmy was a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable, fun to spend time with and accommodating of our interests in the park. The food was good and accommodations that he arranged perfect. The only bad part of our trip was leaving. I would highly recommend safari with Jimmy!

I climbed Kili in 2012 with Deo Sosta as our lead guide. Deo and the others were amazing, looking after us really well and helping us to overcome difficulties. Out of the 10 people in our group 9 reached the top and the other had medical difficulties which prevented him gaining the summit but were swiftly dealt with. I highly recommend Deo and his company. They were incredibly experienced and professional and we wouldn't have reached our goal without them.

We went with Mr. Deo and Mr. Mike who were guides. They did everything kindly and politely. I promise this tour company is the best of best. They gave us so many happiness and delicious foods during Mt. Kili. I guess we couldn't succeed without them. Absolutely they were really professional

We had a wonderful trip in remote areas of Tanzania and also in the widely known Serengeti National Park. We saw many of Tanzania's wonders from volcanoes to wild animals. Jimmy and his crew were an excellent guide and host. They could organize and manage everything we imagined in an affordable and friendly way. Jimmy's professional, knowledge and attitude is exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Jimmy as the perfect guide who can make your Tanzanian dream come true:)

in 2012, i made a safari with jimmy as he was our tour-guide. he was so openminded, funny, able to explain us a lot of things about the animals and he is just so help- and trustful. everything was very nice organized, we did not have any complications on the road or with the equipment. it was all fine and we all enjoyed so much to be with him. i can absolutely recommend jimmy as your safari guide. you will definitely not repent.
