Looked for a travel agency specializing in SOLO travel and Kensington met the bill and exceeded my expectations for service above and beyond. From my personalized travel webpage to my fast tracking thru busy airports and my travel agent who made it happen!

Our trip was amazing! Roisin Farrell was great to work with and was very accommodating as our time frames and our requests took a bit to sort out. Roisin's suggestions and attention to detail were especially appreciated. Our tour guide, Lawrence, was also a gem! The hotel accommodations were fabulous too. We had a wonderful time in London and definitely recommend Kensington Tours.

Working with Kensington was a dream come true. I was called upon to plan an extended-family vacation with age ranges from 24-88, 11 people, in Costa Rica, somewhere I'd never been to and didn't know much about. Kensington was absolutely the best choice I could have made. I worked with Ellen to plan the trip, and she was wonderful to work with. She worked to determine our budget, trip duration and goals. She planned every moment of the trip - from when we got off the plane to getting back on heading home. I travel extensively, solo and with tours, and I knew, based on working with her, that every detail was taken care of, the lodging chosen was perfect for our family, every meal, all excursions, the downtime - all of it was nailed. I expected it would go well - but it was much better than that. Kensington uses local people that really took care of us. One guide recommended schedule changes if we wanted to avoid crowds. Kensington staff came to one location before departure to check in, and to prepare us for what would be a longer bit of travel due to unplanned road construction. All the guides, vans, and boats had the Kensington shirts and logos. There were coincidentally some birthdays on the trip - it was not a birthday trip at all - so I never said anything to Ellen. She noticed, and we had celebrations waiting for us on location! The Kensington app was a great tool - every day was planned out and updated throughout the trip. Here's the kicker - my family keeps thanking me for what has turned out to be one of the best vacations of our lives. But I know that most the credit goes to Kensington. I heartily recommend them for any travel planning - you will have an amazing, worry-free trip that you will remember for years to come!

Our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia had a lot of great and varied activities. Most of all we loved how the trip incorporated the "must-see" tourist attractions (such as Angor Wat) with some more authentic experiences (like spending some time with some Vietnamese fisherman). Also, some of the excursions took me out of my food comfort zone - and those were some of my favorite meals and experiences.

Kensington was always one step ahead of us in planning our trip. They were responsive and flexible in providing a great experience within our tight budget.

Our travel experience was fantastic only due to Kensington Tours. Our trip to Japan was well organized and efficiently carried out. Can't say enough about how helpful the Kensington folks (Justin A.) in planning and putting together a great trip. Our guides and drivers were knowledgeable and very helpful - especially in guiding us through Tokyo's subway system and all of the train stations we used. Excellent company and we will use them again.

We recently completed a custom 29-day tour of India and Nepal (2/13-3-12/26) with Kensington Tours and cannot recommend the company highly enough, especially Anurag Dhawan, our destination expert. From the moment that the two of us landed in Delhi to our final departure from Kathmandu to Delhi to JFK, every detail was faultless.
We visited 9 different cities, per our request, which necessitated many logistical moving parts to be coordinated, including 11 domestic flights and 2 trains. Our transportation details were seamless as we were met at each destination by very professional and knowledgeable personnel.
Our guides in each city were our highlights with their deep knowledge of the sites and the local customs, religions and architecture. Our cycle rickshaw through the markets of Old Delhi, lunch at our guide’s home with his family in Khajuraho, the Golden Temple in Amritsar aglow at night, a fun and vibrant Holi festival at a previous maharaja’s compound in Jaipur, exquisite Jain temples in Udaipur, mystifying caves of Ajanta and Ellora, a surprise view of the goddess Kumari Bahal in Kathmandu-every day brought a truly breathtaking and unique adventure.
We returned home feeling extremely fulfilled by experiencing and absorbing this extraordinary cultural and ethereal journey.

Our family trip to Italy was truly unforgettable—easily one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. From start to finish, everything was perfectly planned and executed. Our travel advisor customized our trip to Egypt to include the unique Siwa oasis. Our trip representative in Cairo helped my son get medical care when he was ill. The representative was able to adjust our trip so he could recover and we did not miss anything.

The hotels that were booked for us were luxurious. The guides were wonderful. They took great care of us and made sure we saw the important sites and tasted the local foods. We would definitely use Kensington for another adventure.

We used Kensington Tours for a 10 day trip to Vietnam. This is only the 2nd time we have ever used a tour group for traveling, and we travel often. We only had 10 days and we wanted to see as much of the country that we could and did not want to think about any of the logistics, so it was perfect for us.

We worked with the Vietnam/South East Asia specialist, Mayu, who took in consideration all of our interests in planning the activites (historical sites, history, local food, etc). We went from Hanoi to Saigon with 2-3 night stops in other cities in between. Private drivers were provided within the cities, as well as between cities, or to and from the airports. Private, extremely knowledgable guides accompanied us almost everywhere, always on time, always accomodating, always conveying really interesting information. We especially appreciated our guide in Hanoi (Nam) and his knowledge of history, contemporary Vietnam, Halong Bay, and another guide named Nam (in Saigon) and his friendlyness, sense of humor, energy, and again, his in depth knowledge of everything. Our guide, Chanh showing us the beauty of Hoi An and Hue was greatly appreciated also.

The hotels were all 5 star, comfortable and with great anemities.

I would definitely book with Kensington again. Everything was and went flawlessly, they were often checking in with us, they made arriving and departing places so easy, we thought the price was really fair given the headaches of traveling these days, and we learned so much about the country from our guides.

A lot to see in two weeks! Kensington put together a well organized trip to the major ecologies; seamless transport, start to finish. Excellent accommodations and staff at each stop. Wide choice of activities and superior guides, patient and with good scopes. First-time travellers should look at Kensington for planning.
