Ordering from USA is a problem - february 2018

I ordered a couple of training aids with carefully sender address, never received anything and was on request told the parcel was returned not being picked up. "Tracking" showed the parcel was delivered to an area called Denmark in Kansas, USA. In several mails I had to repeat my address before it was understood. While I was 3 weeks abroad my neighbor received a letter on a payment request from customs, that doubled the price of the parcel and with an earlier closing date. I had to understand my money was lost by ordering from USA. I did not see anything on Kbands homepage on import from Europe.
