What a difference a year makes! After a disappointing visit last year, I decided to give the Kayak Bar another try, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I could tell things had changed for the better. The atmosphere was just as charming as before, but this time, the food and service truly matched the beautiful location.
I ordered the charcuterie board again, and what a delightful surprise! The selection was thoughtfully curated, with a variety of quality meats and pickles, perfectly complemented by fresh, crusty bread and vibrant test of 3 types of pickles. It was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
The rest of our group ordered burgers, and they were fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and served with crispy fries that were seasoned to perfection. The attention to detail was clear in every bite, and it’s obvious that the kitchen has really stepped up its game.
To top it all off, the service was friendly also Kitchen staffs were smily and attentive , making us feel welcome and well taken care of. And yes, the draft beer is still excellent!
I’m so glad I decided to give the Kayak Bar another chance. It’s now a place I’ll happily return to, knowing that they’ve made improvements and are committed to providing a great experience. Highly recommended!
