Customerservicr is ghosting

Placed an order, did not receive my complete order. Missing the brush and dry out products, which i’m not used to from KatVonD. Emailing the customer service several times didn’t work either since they won’t reply to my email.. I’m really considering never buying from KatVonD now.

Questionable quality??

I am not happy at all with the quality of the gel eyeliner pencil. There is barely any pigment when done on the waterline?? I am not sure if it's defective or the quality is just poor.

I tried contancting customer support through the chat and at the time they were closed, which is fair enough, the bot actually mentioned that I could leave a name and an email and someone will get back to me.

I don't know why but my ticket was closed, saying "Thank you for contacting KVD Beauty!
I'm sorry we missed your chat!
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-844-500-5832. My dedicated team and I will be more than happy to assist you."
But like, you didn't even respond to my query. I cannot phone you back because I live in the UK, I am not getting charged for an international call since it seems that "someone" responds back.

Now it's been 3 days with no further replies after I followed back on this.

I will defo not buy anything else from KVD, even a drugstore eye pencil is of better quality than this.
Such a waste and a shame.

TOTAL RIP OFF!

Your lipstick states that it's long stay!! Ha! Absolute rubbish! Goes on terrible and comes off extremely quickly. Looked a mess! For the money you're charging, should be ashamed.

Lost or stolen palette (eventually arrived)

UPDATE :

My palette actually arrived. It took about two weeks.

It arrived safe and sound despite having been lost at some point.

My experience with customer service and shipping isn't the best but the Moongarden palette itself is really pretty.

I had never tried KVD palettes and the formula is tricky to work with, but that Vulpine Aura shade is absoluty incredible. The colours show much darker on the skin than in the pan. I'm super white and they look nice on me but my friend tried it and the shimmers looked especially beautiful on her dark skin. I wish there was a mirror included in the palette.

PREVIOUS REVIEW BEFORE EDIT :

[I ordered on December 15 and after contacting customer service, it appears that my parcel has been lost. I received a message saying that it wouldn't be replaced because they don't replace international orders, which is extremely disappointing. I would rather get a replacement than refund.

They offered a full refund but I'm waiting to see how much will actually be refunded because I've read that they say you'll get full refund but actually don't pay you everything they owe you.

The refund message from their customer service is a generic message and they didn't even include my actual order number or how much they will refund. It is quite unprofessional. It says : "We're so sorry to hear your package appears to be missing for order [Insert number]!
 
Because we are unable to offer you a free replacement, as we cannot reship international orders, we can process a full refund for the product in the amount of [Insert $104.24"]]

AVOID: Order didn't arrive - Emails were ignored

I ordered a foundation in January and kept on checking the tracking information to make sure the package was on its merry way until one day the tracking number expired and the package was henceforth "lost".

I gave it some extra time because I thought "maybe it will still arrive", but no, it didn't.

Fast forward to February where I contacted the customer service on three different occasions, and only heard back from them ONCE, with the standard message of "Thank you for writing to KVD Beauty..."

I ordered a refund through Paypal and only then did KVD deem to answer my previous tickets.
They informed me I would receive my money back, as well as get an extra email to confirm the refund within the next 10 business days.

And here we are, well over 10 business days later, and I've still got neither the original order, nor the refund to show for.

What a way to burn $54 because of dreadful customer support.

Update March 14:
I was contacted by KVD's customer support today and was given a refund of $38, instead of the earlier promised $54.21.
I did follow that up with an email asking for the rest of my money back as well, we'll see where that leads.

Conclusion:
If you are amongst the unlucky people that have to go through the tedious process of getting a refund, you will have to glue yourself to customer support's ankles and fight for every penny.
What a mess. :)

Avoid, bad service.

I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order as there is a common theme... bad customer service and items not arriving.

I placed my order and got an email to say it was delivered so I checked the package room, then the reception area (where parcels are sometimes left) then the mailbox room. No parcel. I even checked with neighbors, still no parcel. I checked again the next day, and the next day...

I reached out to customer service. The response wasn't quick and defiantly not worth waiting for. No apology, no accountability or ownership. Just told to contact UPS to follow up with them.

I have been in this building 6 months, I've had a lot of parcels delivered, including from the UK and not once has a parcel "gone missing" or not been delivered. So whilst I appreciate that KVD cannot technically be responsible for UPS. It is still a shipment they have sent to me for goods I have paid for, which did not arrive. So there needs to be some sort of accountability, especially given this seems to be a regular thing with KVD.

This is my first and defiantly my last order with KVD Beauty.

Doesn’t stay on like it used to

I used to love Kat Von D liquid eyeliner, she sold her company and said that nothing was going to change and me and my friends are experiencing the same issues… It just doesn’t stay on like it used to I bought all different kinds and it doesn’t last through the day. I’m disappointed

Customer Service is a sh** show

I ordered months ago 3 products. Like so many wrote before I never received that tracking number they spoke of. Wrote an email to their customer service. Never got a response.
Got the package a few days after that. Only 1 item in their. Wrote another email to customer service. No reply but got a refund for the 2 missing items. BUT I payed taxes and everything for 3(!) items. Not 1!! Wrote another email asking them how they calculate taxes etc. Again never gotten any response back. The worst experience ever with any customer service I've ever dealt with. I paid for things I've never gotten and I'm incredibly angry at them for not responding ONCE. Before Kat von D left the brand I never got issues. Will never order again.

Worst experience ever ordering…

Worst experience ever ordering something online. I feel like I was completely robbed. Only way I could order the “Good Apple Foundation Balm” in my shade was in a bigger bundle because they were sold out in individuals. So I caved and got the package $$$. I received my confirmation email stating I’ll be receiving another email the following day or so with a tracking #- never came. I am not tech illiterate, work for Apple, and know how to check my email. I did not overlook that email in anyway and it did not go to junk I kept checking. Excited to try something new for myself. Almost a month later I receive a email from their customer service with a survey asking how I’m enjoying my new products. I filled out the survey explaining I’m still waiting for those products. I called customer service. To be treated horribly. Was told I don’t understand and probably couldn’t find the email with tracking information but that it was delivered- but don’t worry they will refund or resend it all out again. I said no it was never delivered. I am home all day and when I’m not, my 73 yo retired Roomate is. I know how these systems work. If they had actually sent it out an automatic email would of been sent to me with the shipping info to track. Nothing. So don’t lie to me and try and make me out to be the stupid one. I asked her to send it all out to me, give me confirmation number, etc. she decided “to be nice today” (her words) she would give me priority shipping for free (confirmed multiple times it would be on my doorstep in 2 days). we hung up. 4 days later & still nothing. I call back and they state they are so sorry but they couldn’t fulfill the order and someone was supposed to of contacted me; because they are out of one of the shades of foundation I ordered (I got 010 & 012 not knowing which will be best or maybe a possible combination) (she refunded me for 012 shade they were out of) but are sending me the rest and it should arrive shortly. 2 weeks later I received everything in the pack EXCEPT for the 010 shade I was expecting. The ONLY reason I ordered the set of everything was for the foundation in 010. Called customer service AGAIN. They stated they sent everything that they had in stock but must of been out she would look into it- sure enough they were out of stock which is why they didn’t send it out. She said she would send it but at this point I was a little frustrated and so I asked for a confirmation and said let’s see if it actually happens. That was 3 weeks ago. I just got off with customer service for the final time (because I’m done with attempting to use their business now). Gave her the latest updated order #, she apologized profusely for the long ordeal I had to re-explain and the multiple order #s I had written with order dates going back a few months now. She was really nice and tried to be helpful. Put me on hold to look into it. When she came back she apologized and said that they couldn’t fulfill my order. No explanations as to why. I’m assuming for the same reasons they never got to me the first 3 times. They were out all along and shouldn’t of even been accepting new orders!! I do not recommend ordering online. You’ll get screwed. I’m stuck with lipstick in a weird shade I don’t even like, brown tattoo eyeliner that isn’t waterproof but is marketed as such, setting mist (for my imaginary foundation they sent I guess), and blush that’s a tad too dark but can work. I’m not even going to attempt the hassle of returning all the useless product, I’ll regift to a friend. I am incredibly disappointed in their customer service, online functionality, won’t allow me to track my own orders or even show my order in my account order history!? Suspicious. Sooo many things wrong with this company. I really wanted to try that Good Apple but I won’t unless I see it in a store where I can walk out with it in my hand. They’ve stolen $$ in shipping and I’m done trying to work with them.

I ordered from KVD and when the package…

I ordered from KVD and when the package got to me it was open and empty, I emailed customer service and got a full refund the next day postage as well!

I have ordered from them before and love the foundation and lipsticks and no issues with postage.

Definitely do not recommend

Definitely do not recommend! It was too dark. I sent item back. They basically stole the shipping. When it says on this homepage to leave the review. It’s free shipping & Full refund! How’s that a full refund. My order was over $25 and you’re returning $19. Rip off! I will also post this on social media They basically stole money.
