Steer Clear! Do Not Buy! Save Yourself The Trouble And MONEY!
My partner decided to purchase the “Woodrow” box sofa sectional. I knew it was going to be a big, expensive mistake. Sure enough, my gut wasn’t wrong. If you are considering buying the “Woodrow”, some advice to you, don’t make the same mistake!!!
The thing is uncomfortable. I’m sorry comfort is NOT subjective, like they try to imply in the responses to other reviews. It’s stiff and the sofa just isn’t inviting. Like it doesn’t say “come sit on me and relax”, like a sofa should. The back of couch is so low that it doesn’t offer a lot of support - and the back of the sofa literally stops in the middle of your back - which is annoying and poor design. Also, the thing is like a looks like an oversized analyst couch. It looks stiff, rigid and uncomfortable in person, and it is. I seriously hate the stupid thing.
So here I am. My den is now a useless space because we are stuck with this uncomfortable and overpriced sofa that is nearly impossible to return (that’s how they get you). With an almost $1,000 return shipping fee (which is ridiculous), once you buy, that’s it folks. You are outta luck and stuck with it. Don’t kid yourself and think you’re returning one of their sofas.
Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear! Find somewhere else to buy a sofa and don’t get fooled by the price or the aesthetic - just because something costs a small fortune, doesn’t always means you are going to get what you pay for.
Now I gotta figure out how to get rid of the damn thing....maybe I’ll have myself a $3,000 bonfire.

I purchased a bench from them. It arrived damaged. They offered a 10% discount or to sell me a new metal frame for $200. I expect when I order an item that it is not damaged. Horrible customer service.

I recently purchased two Kardiel products; the contractors desk from Amazon and a walnut credenza directly from the company. I ordered both items and then read the reviews on Kardiel. To say I was nervous was an understatement! However, my fears were unfounded! Both items arrived in excellent condition. The packaging was designed to prevent damage to the product and it worked! Assembly was extremely easy though the desk does require two people. The quality of both of the products is outstanding. Well designed and made without blemishes. The cost, in my opinion, is a bargain in relation to the quality of the products. This is not pressboard or cardboard cheaply made furniture. This is solid wood with great construction.
Early on after ordering I also called the company and spoke with Shay due to my concerns regarding the reviews that I had read on the web. I found her to be very pleasant, helpful and professional.
I would not hesitate to order from this company again.
The Kardiel desk we bought through…
The Kardiel desk we bought through Amazon collapsed creating a very hazardous situation. Let me just preface this by saying I have flipped over 8 houses and have put countless pieces of furniture together.I bought the Protractor Desk from Kardiel and after 3 days with no problems the entire desk started to slide and collapsed on my lap. Mind you the top piece of glass weighs easily over 200lbs and it was only for a friend coming and rescuing me out from underneath it that I did not get extremely hurt.I contacted the company because Amazon is not taking any calls at this time due to Covid-19, and Shay-Anne Rosselli responded with a condescending, half- hearted reply basically taking zero responsibility for their faulty product. She offered to send two new legs for the broken desk, ignoring the fact that her desk almost seriously injured both myself and my friend who assisted in recovering me out from underneath it. This company looks modern and chic yet has absolutely no moral compass or concern for the welfare of their customers who are forking out thousands of dollars for their poorly designed furniture.I hope if Shay-Anne Rosselli was stuck underneath a 200lb piece of glass someone would show her a little more compassion and concern than she gave me. I would never support this company in any way again. In a time where we are all supposed to be pulling together as a country Kardiel is could care less, especially Shay-Anne Rosselli. Thanks Kardiel for making this difficult time even more so with your lack of concern.

Jackie 68" Fabric Sofa and 38" Chair are GREAT
My wife and I were really wanting a true mid-century-modern look for some new Livingroom furniture. Our old sofa, loveseat, and chair were past their useful life. We searched for furniture that, first and foremost, looked great. There are more options than I could have thought online, but we really liked the look of the Kardiel Jackie series (2 of the Jackie 68" Fabric Sofa in Niemeyer Twill; and the Jackie 38" Fabric Chair in the same color). As I said, we went for looks first, but were really happy with the pricing on the website, and went ahead and made the commitment and ordered. While there are a lot of customers who are anxious ordering furniture on the web, sight unseen, including us, we were assured by the availability of swatch material and the many positive reviews....we were not disappointed!!
The furniture is exactly what we had hoped! The look and Quality of the furniture is top of the line! Craftmanship of the wood framing, the legs, and the fabrics and padding are excellent. The fabric appears that it will stand up over time, although some of the little feathers from the top layer of padding do find there way out from time to time! The firmness of the seating is truly a positive aspect for us. Our old furniture you would sink into, and while seemingly comfortable, posture was lacking. The Jackie couches and chair are firm, and the posture is great...exactly what we would expect from MCM-inspired design. I find myself falling asleep very often on this furniture, and when I get up I do not have any pain like I used to!
The delivery was timely (from Seattle to NJ), and the delivery company kept us informed of where the shipment was through the entire process. While one of the boxes arrive with a couple of bruises, the packaging did its job, and there was no damage whatsoever to the furniture...it arrived in perfect shape. The delivery guys were great and put the furniture exactly where I asked them to.
Our overall experience with Kardiel was Fantastic and we could not be happier with our decision, with the furniture, and with the price! We are definitely going to be buying other pieces.
Woodrow Neo 99”-Uncomfortable and Expensive to Return
I ordered The Woodrow Neo 99” sectional it is a very beautiful piece of furniture, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. I knew this was risk when buying furniture online, but I felt assured by the headlines of their return policy. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the fine print. I had to re-box the couch myself and they charged me $850 for the return shipping. And after 3 weeks since they picked it up, I still haven’t received my $2,300 refund.
I think their products are nice, but unless you have extra piles of money lying around and extra time to deal with them I would choose wisely so you don’t ever have to return their products.

Love my sectional
I'm sad to hear all the bad experiences from so many people. I fortunately had a great experience, and I am in love with my Woodrow sectional. I received a call beforehand to let me know of delivery being a little behind. Boxes where delivered by a 3rd party and they were cautious when unloading. My product was ordered end of 2019 and took 3 weeks for delivery.
Not in Stock or Lost in a Warehouse Move
I think Kardiel's mid century offerings are very appealing! I can't speak to their quality as the items I ordered were reportedly lost during a warehouse move or not in stock. Kardiel offered to sell part of the patio set I ordered at a discounted rate, but I refused and await a full refund.

2 weeks delay
Hello,
I ordered a Sofa from Karideill 2 weeks ago, they then called me to say that they were moving warehouse and that a short delay was to be expected. But its been 2 weeks and now they are saying there are some delays on the logistics side and that I should followup with the freight company. Really? as you client , I expect things to be delivered in a timely manner and for you to keep me updated if delays occur.

Stay away from this company - Kardiel! They scam you and then leave you hanging. 6 months waiting for TUb faucet and every time I call they tell you either it was shipped or it was delayed. They sent me the connections that you need to install under the tile and I installed them after I waited forever for the faucet. Then at the end when I got really fed up with all the lies and escalated the matter they just dropped me and decided to refund me with 0 options after I had done all the connections ready. A scam of a company. Stay away!!
This cost me a lot and they were aware of situation that I was in and didn’t ask for a refund but for the faucet that you kept on saying that it will arrive month after month. Lying to me. So please don’t say you did everything. You just tried to shut me up by giving me a refund and get rid of me! Unacceptable the way you treated me. You are a scam of a company!! The amount of money I had to endure because of your lies is incomprehensible! Had to take tile off to accommodate for a new faucet that a decent company sent to me when they promised they would. And we couldn’t move into the house until months after because of this faucet situation. Your company should stop doing biz considering the ordeal that I went through and it seems I am not the only one that has bad reviews on your company but you always have an excuse. I confirm to stay away! Full of excuses and lies!!

I called to have them to exchange it customer service supervisor apologized for me and told me she understood but she Lost her Dog 2 weeks ago she paid for doctor and 2000$ she didn’t get anything back . I should not get anything back too !!!!
Her excuse she have 10 days to claim if it was broken get delivered on 15 I sent email on 25 which is 10 days but she said it’s 11 days already so they don’t have any responsibility!!!!

Kardiel Woodrow Sofa is such poor quality.
The Woodrow sofa I ordered, first off, was not delivered white glove as indicated in reviews... they claim after the fact, that only if they deliver themselves and not third party, it will be white glove. Mine came third party, and not by choice. Would have been nice to know this beforehand, then to pay extra for delivery service, only to wait extra time, and watch them drop the couch and see it tumble on the sidewalk, and then just dump it inside, upside down in the box. The quality of the fabric, a supposed tight weave upholstery linen, feels and looks more like unwashed flannel sheets, right off the bat. It looks horrible after sitting on for a few minutes, for ONE time. I weigh less than 110 pounds, FYI. Customer service thinks this is normal, and say it is because customers want the “softest” couch. Is it soft and comfy? Not so much on comfort, and all the wrinkles, buckling fabric and big dents, to sacrifice for so called softness? How will this couch look in 1 months time, if it looks bad after sitting on a few minutes over a few days or just once? They just offered a 10% refund, which I am waiting to receive. The “walnut” finish is also not close to walnut, as it is much lighter, and there are big holes in every stitched seam throughout the sofa. Maybe this couch is better in leather? Not worth the pain, in my opinion. Should have believed the bad reviews.

Would not recommend ordering from here
The outdoor sofa set I ordered was cheap and some pieces were damaged in transit. I didn’t want to deal with returning or shipping anything back so I just thought whatever. Less than a week after I received the sofa it goes on sale online and they refuse to credit me back the difference. They were only willing to give store credit which does not help me in any way since I don’t want to purchase anymore cheaply made furniture. Shayna was communicating with me through email and was of no help with giving me a refund.

Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere.
I bought a Clawfoot tub from kardiel. Tub was shipped and arrived in a timely manner. Upon assembly from the contractor we hired we realized they had sent the wrong tub support brackets. Emailed kardiel and didn't hear back so our contractor cut the legs so he could temporarily set up the tub to measure and install drain and faucet so we didn't have to pay ANOTHER trip charge. Kardiel admitted that they screwed up and they would send us the right brackets. BUT the customer service rep. said since we had to alter the WRONG brackets THEY sent we we're going to have to pay another $100+ to get the right ones. Of course I told them that was unacceptable and I would rather pay a metal fabricator to make the proper legs because I would never give their company another dime of my money at this point. Now we have a tub that is unusable until we can get someone else to come fix Kardiels screw up. Never would I recommend their company for anything. Spend a little more with a reputable company and get what you ordered and save yourself the hassle. I've never had a company tell me I have to pay to fix their screw up. We wouldn't even be in this mess had they sent the proper parts that I had already paid for when I bought the tub.

Feel Like They Stole My Money
Couch was very stiff and uncomfortable. Bought it for the retail price of $1,096.00 and returned it within the 10 day period but was only refunded about 50% of the couch. This has nothing to do with the condition of the couch which it was in great condition. This is just their policy and that's the most you'll get on your return, so make sure it's the couch you want.
They took forever to pick up the couch. Almost two weeks of me hassling them via email and phone had gone by before getting a response on the status of the return. I was trying to confirm if they received the couch and what my refund amount would be, but no one seemed to know or was capable of finding out. Then finally after refusing to get off the phone they were able to conveniently find the information and then I was shocked. They already had the info that the couch had been returned and I was only going to get around $600 of my $1,100 back. Nothing to do with the condition of the couch rather it's just their policy. The couch was picked up and taken to a local consignment shop, but even if they do it that way they still charge you over $400 and take that out of your refund.
Terrible customer service and even worse return policy. They are stealing money from people that want a return. I'll never shop with them again.

No Easy Return
The easy return, no questions asked, no re-stocking fee promise this company claims is completely misguiding. The couch did not work for me and I requested a return. Initially a representative said the return shipping costs would be approx $500-600. Then, they quickly went up to $1000 and finally $1200 and I am responsible for the packing and fee for the return. It was even suggested that I take it to a local re-sale shop and write off the difference. I was finally able to find a delivery service that didn't cost a 3rd of the couch and had it packed and shipped. Kardiel claimed to receive it damaged and sent pictures. Thankfully, because of my suspicions, I had purchased insurance on the delivery. My insurance company is requesting the proof of delivery. I made the request with Kardiel and they said they would get it from the warehouse. I have been requesting it for 3 weeks and now I am not receiving a response from the original representative and my emails and calls are being ignored. I finally called someone else today and I hope that there is a resolution of sorts. Either way, this return process has been time consuming, costing me a lot of money, and I am still out the price of the couch. I initiated the communication for the return in February of 2019 and it is now June.

Poor quality PK61 Midcentury Modern Coffee Table
I have a degree in Chemistry and Interior Design from Fashion Institue in NYC. As an interior designer, I was looking for the ideal coffee table to add a simple, yet functional elegance to my living room. One of the first places I typically search is Houzz and Whala- there it was-- (PK61 Midcentury Modern Coffee Table).
Unfortunately, the glass top was cloudy; ergo, not clear and it had a quite of bit of oddities that also appeared within the glass itself. As a chemist, I tried every possible solution and to no avail, nothing worked. I contacted Kardiel and they were happy to send me a replacement. Once again, the glass was not perfectly clear-though better than the first. Naturally, because they were so helpful before it made sense to contact them yet again. This time, there is not a peep of any kind as to how we will resolve. I will not be purchasing anything ever again from Kardiel as I do not appreciate poor quality items.
