Kapruka is the most quick and professional items delivery service which I ever used in Sri Lanka because it provides all the details by using many digital platforms. It also updates the information about the delivery process carefully.

I ordered one jar of Cetaphil skin…

I ordered one jar of Cetaphil skin cream for my mother in Sri Lanka .The price of the cream in Australia is about $25, but with delivery I paid AUD $79.80, which I accepted.

Later, my credit card company contacted me to advise that I had been charged twice within 4 minutes, bringing the total to AUD $159.60 for two jars of the same product. The same items would have cost me around $50 at Chemist Warehouse in Australia.

Following the bank’s inquiry, I checked my emails and only then noticed two separate order receipts:
• VBRN65FADB69
• VBRN7090F946

Because I have used Kapruka for many years, I trusted the platform and did not immediately check the order confirmations, as I believed the transaction had gone through correctly.

I contacted Kapruka several times regarding this matter and was informed by Mahesha Jayasena and Harsha Jayawardana that two payments had been processed. While that may be correct from their system’s point of view, it was never my intention to place two. I honestly don’t understand or remember placing two orders for this item.

I am writing this review to warn other customers to be very careful when placing online orders. Always double-check confirmations and charges, take screenshots, and be mindful when using the platform.

This experience has been very disappointing, and after even my bank questioned whether this merchant could be trusted, I will not be using Kapruka again.

I deal with customer services with in the past from all kinds of companies but most of them was not efficient or understanding as you guys. Sometimes i had to explain the same thing over and over again to some of those companies and it took hours when all of that said and done.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Kapruka service. I placed an order well in advance for a time-sensitive surprise gift, only to be informed at the last minute that delivery could not be made on the scheduled date. This completely defeated the purpose of the gift.

What is most unacceptable is the lack of proactive communication. The delivery failure was communicated only at the final moment, leaving no opportunity to make alternate arrangements. When customers place orders for special occasions, timely delivery is not optional — it is the core service.

After this experience, I checked reviews and noticed many customers reporting similar delivery issues. This clearly indicates a systemic service problem, not an isolated case.

Based on my experience, I do not recommend Kapruka for surprise gifts or important occasions. I will not be ordering again.😡

Delivering a birthday cake AT 7 pm (AT NIGHT) to a 77 year old mother.

I am thoroughly disappointed with KAPRUKA. This will be the last time I use this horrible service. IT IS THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE THAT CHARGES MORE FOR POOR SERVICE.
My 77 year old mother's birthday cake, which was supposed to be a surprise, was DELIVERED TO HER AT 7 PM on her birthday.
It is a BIRTHDAY CAKE. People cut birthday cake in the evening and not at night. If you can't deliver a birthday cake on time, DON'T ACCEPT ORDERS. This is NOT the first time they did this. I had to deliver the cake because I am not in Sri Lanka at the moment.
We placed the order about a week ago and paid a big sum of money all for nothing.
I do not recommend this service to anyone if you are planning to deliver outside of Colombo.
