Buyer beware

Buyer beware! I wish I'd checked out these reviews before booking. I decided to use Park With Me last-minute, the day before flying, as it was relatively cheaper, at £78 for meet and greet and one week's parking, than the extortionate official Gatwick parking, which was going to cost £150 for the same period.

Alarm bells rang when I booked and the payment was processed, but I received no booking confirmation email. So, I printed out the web confirmation form.

The person I called when 30 mins from the airport for someone to meet me couldn't find my booking, but told me to go the designated meeting point anyway. I had to pay the £6 parking charge and wait 25 mins for them to arrive, which was okay, but not great.

On my return, knowing they took a while to meet me on the outbound leg and that I had no luggage to collect, I rang as soon as my flight landed. I was told somebody would drop my car off within 30 mins. However, I had to wait 100 mins for my car to arrive! Another couple waiting with me had to wait even longer. We both rang multiple times for updates and were fobbed off each time with the answer that our cars were on their way and they'd be there in the next 5 mins. When I said that was rubbish because it was the third time I'd been told this, they hung up on me.

When my car finally arrived it was covered in mud. The driver I spoke to said it had been kept in a field two miles away - hardly a 100-minute drive away, even in early morning rush hour - and that they only employed two drivers to do the pick-ups and drop-offs. He also said the drivers got the same treatment as the customers from the telephone operatives, who were regularly rude and hung up on him. I'm sure he'd also been on the receiving end of a lot of abuse from very irate customers who'd been treated as badly as me and the couple I waited with, judging by the other reviews here. Avoid this company at all costs.

I've been trying to sort my parking out…

I've been trying to sort my parking out it was cancelled on 28th June with no explanation and I was to be refunded within 7 to 10 day now in September I never received a refund .my emails bounce and anyone I try to speak to has been rude or put the phone down.It ha been an awful experience I'm now having to rebook losing £70 to ensure I get my holiday .please don't use this company .

TOTAL SCAM - do not book with this company.

I’d give no stars if I could. TOTAL SCAM. Booked for meet and greet at Bristol airport in February for September holiday. Called the mobile number given on the email confirmation 40 minutes prior to arrival. No answer for 5/6 attempts. Last call we were told our booking had been cancelled. Try another website in haste (while parked in a lay-by) which turned out to be the same website. Got to Bristol and car park attendant stated loads of companies are doing this and no meet or greet exists under them. We were about to have an aborted holiday when we were allowed to park in the long stay car park. At present parking for 4 days has cost me £370 😢. Be careful who you book with or you could miss out on yr holiday completely.

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service. I booked a meet and greet service for Gatwick Airport for our summer holidays many months in advance. As we neared the holiday, out of the blue they cancelled the booked with no explaination. When I replied to understand more, they said I would be refunded the money within 7-10 days but I have yet to see my money. Avoid at all cost and don't believe their website, as they look like they are still running.

NO REFUND YET!

I had too cancel my parking at Bristol Airport on the 20/04/2024 due too illness. I asked for refund and said
it would 10 days. I still not had the refund, I have telephoned numerous times and they say that someone will call back, I also emailed many times.
I do not know why this is happening. I have a booking number CPD-6-491036

This is not a meet and greet service

This is not a meet and greet service, i had to wait for someone to come and collect my car when i arrived at the airport and when i returned almost 35 minutes wait. The words should mean someone is ready with your car both ways, i would be cheaper and quicker to book off site parking with a 5 minute transfer. Also no mention at booking of the £10 each way enter fee into the car park which should be disclosed. Absolute joke and shabby organisation.

This is the most appalling outfit

This is the most appalling outfit. I was left stranded by a driver who simply walked off. When I complained they claimed it was nothing to do with them they are just a price comparison website. They do not accept complaints and you cannot use the complaints form as the ‘ captcha ‘ licence is not valid.
1. They are difficult to understand on the phone, they are abrupt and rude.
2. They simply put the phone down.
3. Do not( I strongly advise ) use this company.
4. I have sent this to them so should they choose to write a reply they can try to explain their conduct.

JUST APPALLING

Appalling “service” from a very haphazard and extremely unhelpful bunch of cowboys. Avoid this option at all costs - I had booked them as I have recently had back surgery and thought we would be dropped off and picked up at the airport doors. Not so. The drop off/meeting point is a good 10 minutes walk from the airport up 3 challenging flights of stairs. Driver turned up late both times and was monosyllabic and very unhelpful. AVOID!!!

However they also drove the car on 2 different days within ULEZ Zone while I was way and I received 2 ULEZ Fines for non payment totaling £270!

JustParkMe Long Stay Bristol Airport (Avoid)

After reading terrible reviews of Bristol Airport multi storey & Silver Zone parking I prebooked long stay for 10-17 August at over £150 (JustParkMe). Very difficult to find a space (even at 4:30 am) & on return the exit barrier didn't recognise my prepayment (& wanted over £170) . I reversed back to park near the exit barrier & negotiate with operator on paystation intercom to release my car (operator didn't recognise my JustParkMe email booking reference or car reg or surname !). JustParkMe email advised to go to the manned office at the exit barrier if the prepayment failed. However, there was no manned office - only scruffy portacabins and some very dubious looking people hanging around cars outside. Occupant of portacabin ignored me & deliberately closed the internal door when I called from cabin doorway. Used the intercom on the paystation near exit & operator eventually took pity on me & released the barrier. So very grateful to the operator but very poor overall service for £150. Add to this the difficulty of getting to Bristol Airport and the long queues for departures (as the airport seems trying to service about 3X the customers it is built & staffed for) & I will be flying from another airport in future.

A joke!

I booked online only to find out I had made two bookings, no idea how and they charged me twice. I emailed them to which they didn’t reply until the next day…pretty sure they’re a 24hour parking place so someone would have been there. I asked for a refund and to cancel the booking(s) as by that point I was very annoyed. They refunded me but took £20 for the trouble. What a joke! I emailed them within an hour to say to cancel and that cost me £20! Do not book here, spend the extra to park somewhere else.
