VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Booked a London Theatre break with this company online. I received an email from the company telling me my booking hadn't completed and to try again. I did and the second attempt was successful, but on checking my banking online, I found I had been charged twice. After numerous phone calls to their customer services and i sent a copy of their email to them over a period of 14 days. They never gave me a refund, I contacted my banks' fraud team and was reimbursed by my bank but not the company. Their customer services are rubbish. Please beware of this company when things go wrong they don't want to know and just fob you off with excuses.

Hopeless company hiding behind a slick website

We received a gift voucher as a Christmas present to use with this company we spent hours trying to book via the website but it just kept giving us error messages so we phoned the sales line this is an overseas call centre and it soon became clear this company is actually based overseas. We did eventually get booked but were told it would be more expensive than expected as the seats we wanted were not available even though the website said they were. We then went for inferior seats and got the price down but this presented the problem that a fair amount of money from the voucher was left over and we were told his would be lost as it must all be used in one transaction. On suggestion we used some to buy a restraunt discount card this didn't use up all the left over money but it was going to be lost anyway, however we found out later this card was free if you spent over £300 which we did. We waited a day for our confirmation email and vouchers but they didn't arrive so I emailed customer support I received a reply in poor English with an attachment the theatre voucher was correct but the hotel voucher did not include the name of the hotel (pretty important) or the meal package details, I emailed back asking for the correct details to be added but got no reply. My advise is there are scores of company's doing these packages just avoid this one.

Impossible to get any response from Customer Service - Avoid!

My wife booked a weekend break for a friend on 15 December 2012 for a theatre and overnight hotel. She realised when the confirmation came through that her own name had been put as the 'lead guest' for all the bookings, instead of her friend's name. She immediately e-mailed them, asking them to re-send the bookings in her friend's name. Nothing. She called the contact number. Nothing. She called again. Got through to an unhelpful person apparently in an indian call centre. Still nothing. I called on her behalf. I was told there was nothing they could do: they have contacted the relevant suppliers, nothing more they can do if there has been no response. The tickets are refundable and unchangeable (though this is surely anti-UK consumer law). I have tried to find someone who legally owns this company but can find no trace of a UK company. Seems to me that it is some offshore marketing operation, creaming small amounts of net profit of large volumes of transactions so that, if anything does go wrong, customer service is nil. I would strongly advise anyone booking theatre tickets through this type of company to check that there is a listed UK company on the web site otherwise there seems to be no obvious recourse. In the end, I had to sort the issue out with many phone calls and photocopies of identity papers and letters granting permission etc. But not before it had caused my wife and her friend great stress for what was supposed to be a nice Xmas present. Unbelievable..
