This is now the 4th or 5th time we've updated our company headshots with Just Headshots.
Don't really need to say more than that, but if you are nervous, Andrew puts you at your ease and relaxes you which produces great results.

We were lucky to have Andrew take some fantastic family pictures of us a few years ago and when my recent headshot from work made me look 10 years older, my husband suggested I have some more taken by Andrew.

I was a little nervous, wasn't feeling my best and wondered if I really needed the pictures taken but I have to say I'm blown away by the results.

Andrew and Nicole put me totally at ease, fed me coffee and cake (always a bonus) and made me laugh and relax. The resulting pictures actually look like me and show my personality.

I have used Andrew’s services several times and the words I would use to describe the level Andrew operates at are ‘consistently high’. Andrew I’ll do the same shot 4 times if he isn’t absolutely happy. He really cares and takes pride in his work. I would recommend his services he will exceed your expectations!

I love having my photo taken.  That sounds vain but I love that it's a memory of when I've had fun, spent time with my family & friends etc.  Even more so because my parents passed away while I was young and I don't have many photos with them.

When I started my business last year my partner suggested I have my headshots done. I panicked!  I thought they'd cost the earth, what if I didn't look professional enough? Who did I think I was?  Headshots are usually boring, or so I thought?

I met Andrew at a networking event and got on really well straight away.  It was just so easy to say "I need headshots" because he was there, I still don't think I would have booked in with anyone otherwise.

Getting photographed by Andrew was so much fun!  I felt relaxed, there was music, his wonderful make up artist Nicole did my make up & his lovely wife made a cake. 

When I received my photos I was blown away!  They captured me perfectly with all the colour!  I am now proud to have professional headshots that represent me.  As a bookkeeper people expect you to have no personality, but we can be fun everyday people haha! It was also nice for something just for me.  As a busy mum this doesn't happen often so thank you so much Andrew!

I would say that most people don't like their photos taking. I'm certainly one of these.

From start to finish the experience with Just Head Shots was thorough and professional, but also friendly, informal, down-to-earth and relaxing...just the right approach to achieve the best outcome.

I booked two sessions to have a variety of photos taken, which provided a larger and more versatile portfolio for current requirements and possible future needs. My thought process was if I'm going to do this, I may as well make the most of the time and the experience.

Unlike most people, I’ve always quite enjoyed being photographed however during lockdown I had my hair cut quite drastically and this was the first time I’d been photographed since then, and I wasn’t feeling very confident about it.

I was made to feel at easy immediately, from the first point of contact when Lorna emailed me tips about what to wear and how to prepare for the shoot, to the relaxed manner of the shoot itself with Andrew. To add complications I brought my cat Billie to the shoot (it was never going to be easy!) as my shots were to promote my cat business. Despite the near-impossible task of trying to get both me and the cat to smile at the camera at the same time, Andrew rose to the challenge and after some serious key-jangling and some added whistling from the make-up assistant, amazingly he did just that!

The photos themselves were excellent, Andrew has captured me looking relaxed and happy with my cat – exactly the image I was looking for to promote my business. We discussed the background colours before the shoot and how they fit with both my outfits and my brand colours. As a result they will now sit really nicely on both my website and social media pages, as they fall within the same colour schemes.

I would definitely recommend Andrew and Just Headshots to anyone looking for more professional business shots, whether formal or informal. He understands exactly what you need and how to get the best shots that are right for you.

I recently had some photos taken by Andrew for me to use on LinkedIn and emails. I have always hated my photo being taken and was quite nervous at the thought of it being done again, however from the very first conversation I had with Andrew he put me at ease and made the whole journey an enjoyable one. The day itself was very relaxed and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. When I received the photos I was so pleased with the results and started using them straight away. They have had a massively positive impact on client interaction through emails and I feel that this development wouldn’t have been possible without Andrew’s help.

Having spoken to Andrew about head shots , I realised that the picture I was using for my professional profile picture , really didn’t do me any justice and it was time to for an “upgrade”. The booking process was simple and the pre shoot fact sheet clearly laid out what to wear and what to expect on the day. The shoot itself took about 1/2hr with me dressed in various outfits. Andrew made me feel comfortable throughout and I was looking forward to seeing the results. I was not disappointed, I had about 12 shots to choose from all of which had their merits , I settled for two which I am really pleased with and would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew at Just Head Shots .

I have been photographed a fair bit over the last 5 years but even so, I had great fun at the headshot session. Andrew was great at putting people at ease and the session felt fun, relaxed and unhurried. When the shots came through there was a good selection of suitable photos to pick from and I was really pleased with the way I looked in them. I think they captured me very well and gave me a range from slightly more business-like to a bit more relaxed. Even so, the business photos were a little relaxed because this reflects me as an individual.

Generally, I don’t like having my picture taken, and although I’ve been running my business for over four years I had managed to put it off for as long as possible! My session with Andrew was easy, very relaxed but professional and I felt at ease throughout the entire session. I was provided with a good selection of photographs with very different looks and I was pleased with the variety. I will never feel amazing, but I’ve had lots of positive comments about them since uploading to social media. I am my brand, and it became increasingly apparent that I needed to promote that and not hide behind my logo. I’m pleased I took the leap!

Being photographed is normally a cringeworthy experience! I am not a fan of ‘posing’ or trying to ‘sell myself’. Andrew was great. He really listened to what I was trying to achieve and spent the time and effort to accomplish the right ‘look’ for my business. He has a natural ability to put you at ease; I felt relaxed and comfortable which was important for the ‘authentic’ look I wanted. I was really happy with Andrew’s work and I was actually spoilt for choice in the end! I particularly appreciated the chat we had about which images were most suitable for my business. I really valued his professional opinion, and it was all part of the service. I normally hate seeing images of myself, but I felt really happy with the end result. Both Andrew and his make-up artist are very talented and managed to bring out the best in me. I’m proud! Starting up a new business is quite an unnerving process so to have an image of you that you feel represents the service you offer has made it easier for me.

I attended Andrew's headshot day in September 2020. As previously, the experience was extremely enjoyable, providing a series of great shots to be used in my business, and accommodating all my ideas. His procedures for ensuring my health and safety despite the pandemic were robust, carefully thought through and not too invasive. Due to his attention to detail, I felt very safe. Don't put off updating your photos - your image should match the reality and Andrew (and this team) can make you look good

In the past I have always felt nervous in photoshoots which always came out in my smile and body language in the photos.

Andrew and Nicole made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

When I saw myself in the photos, I felt confident and happy with the finished product. I felt proud of my new professional photos, and how it represents me and my personal brand.

It took a lot of courage to have these headshots done. I needed new headshots, I’d avoided that ’nightmare’ for ten years but I had to get over my fear of being photographed. My fear of being photographed is real - I genuinely hate photos of myself. Even passport photographs result in at least an hour in a photography shop with endless retakes. I’m one of those people who doesn’t look great in photos! I needed professional ‘work’ headshots and ‘performance’ headshots for my comedy and writing and I was not looking forward to the experience.

I chose Andrew because I know his wife Josie and Josie always looks great in photographs - what better recommendation than that! I arrived for the shoot feeling very apprehensive. Andrew and the team immediately put me at ease and were very friendly. Nicole did my make-up (natural and light) and Andrew and I decided which outfits to wear and he explained why and what would make a better photograph. During the shoot Andrew talked to me - asking me lots of questions, asking me to explain things to him about my work and performance. I really felt comfortable with Andrew and believed he wanted to get the right photographs for me. Andrew is a very interesting and funny man to talk to and he made me laugh out loud a couple of times!

When the photographs arrived I was very apprehensive about looking at them. I had a quick look and noted down seven images that stood out as OK. I then left it a while and looked in more detail (this worked for me as otherwise I can become hyper critical of myself - focussing on the negative rather than appreciating the whole image). I looked through them a third time with my daughter to check I had picked the right ones. It feels odd looking at yourself in photos and seeing yourself as others see you! The images received were not ’touched-up’, bear this in mind.

I spoke to Andrew about the images I had chosen and he guided me through the images best suited for my needs e.g. close-ups for LinkedIn and work, images suitable for my creative pursuits, what works well in black and white and colour. I would really recommend you do this as I gained lots of insight into the images which really made me understand the decisions I’d made. We discussed what ’touch ups’ the photographs needed. I wanted to look like me but look the best I could look within reason! I didn’t want to be airbrushed and perfected like the cover of a magazine (don’t you just hate that when you don’t recognise the celebrity on the cover!) so I discussed what could be done with Andrew (brighter teeth, colour balance, tidying up stray hairs etc) and the final images received looked natural and professional.

I’m really pleased with my images! They reflect my personal brand(s) really well. They look like me! Relaxed and confident in my professional images. Energised and fun in my performance images. I chose an extra image too - just for me and my parents which is a happy one.

I highly recommend Andrew for your headshots. You need someone who takes time to know you, makes you feel relaxed and is really on your side. Andrew wants you to love your headshots - and you will love them!

During my photo shoot, I found Andrew very easy and relaxing to work with, which made the whole experience just fun and not at all tense. When I received the photos there were so many good ones that I found it hard to choose. Having made the decision, I feel the photos are a great representation of me and I’ve plastered them all over my social media - which shows the best of my brand!
