Spam. Database details shared with several companies

I am also getting spam emails from this Jungle Bee BV. The Privacy Protection line at the bottom of the email says You are receiving this email because your data have been registered by Jungle Bee N.V. to whom you have given your consent to receive promotional communications from third parties...
I have never signed up to Jungle Bee and I have never heard the name until now.

So this email is as follows: 

The email address is from @mail.extraincoming.net (not Jungle Bee of course!)

I started receiving a large number of unsolicited spam emails from various companies. Each one includes the same message at the bottom:

"This email was sent to you because you have opted in to receive 3rd party email communications from Jungle Bee N.V. Zuikertuintjeweg Z/N (Zuikertuin Tower) Willemstad Curaçao."

I have never heard of Jungle Bee, never visited their website, and never opted in to receive marketing communications from them or any associated third parties.

The opt-out links in the emails and on Jungle Bee's website do not work. I contacted Jungle Bee directly to request removal of my data and to ask them to stop sharing my email address with others. They ignored my request and continued distributing my data. I also raised concerns that their actions appear to breach GDPR, but received no response.

I am confident that I did not consent to the use of my personal data in this way. In my view, this raises serious questions about how Jungle Bee collects and shares data. Based on my experience, it appears they are selling email addresses to multiple third parties without valid consent.

I would strongly advise others to exercise caution and avoid any interaction with this organisation. If you ever get spam related to Jungle Bee, also leave the feedback they deserve. The world can do without spammers, and those that profit from it.
