They charged an auto renew fee after not using the product for 10 months. They didn't send me a reminder or notice I was signed up to auto renew. This is nothing other than theft in my opinion. The app is terrible and slow too hence stopped using. I wish I hadn't paid up front for premium. It was very poor

Horrible billing practices - product did not work as touted and yet they continued billing. 2 days after I saw a renewal charge on my account I contacted them and they said too late. I needed to cancel 30 days in advance. I never even used the flawed program. BEWARE

I am really impressed with the rapid support I have had from the Jumpspeak support team. I thought I'd got involved in a scam but no, I just hadn't totally understood the process, but now I do and I'm going to continue until my 3 month fre trial is up. Then I'll decide what to do.
You are all doing a great job which I have truly appreciated.
I cannot find out how to unsubscribe, I have been charged more than once and I have not used the product for months, I just cannot get out of it even cancelling the app you still are billed any instructions take you round in circles. As usual you cannot talk to a person to help. It is obviously designed so you find it difficult to stop payments!
Do not take on the original offer as I did.
I think this program is really good for beginners. I, however, had been doing Duolingo for many years and then started at the beginning of Jumpstarts program.
Too basic for me!
I recommend this program for those starting to learn a language!
At first I could not start. I got in contact with them and after a few mails it was fine.
Obfuscation of charges and their timing. No access to an account to let you see exactly what charges will be applied and when. Despite abandoning my 3-month purchase just 2 weeks into the course and because I had not been given visibility of imminent charging I ended up billed for 6 months. They refused my request for a refund. They say notification of charges is communicated via the app but if you stop using the app because it is not of use to you, then there is no communication!! There is no email confirmation of receipts or any other financial activity. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
This company is an absolute scam. I don’t even know how they are in business. I never write trust pilot reviews but I felt compelled to because this company has devious business tactics. I have absolutely no recollection of signing up and it then I see a $99 charge on my credit card. I don’t even have the app and never used it once. I reach out to support and that told me I signed up a year ago and that it’s a renewal. They charged me three days ago and they won’t refund it even though I never used it once because I isn’t knowingly sign up. Their customer support is terrible and all they want is your money. Terrible money-grubbing company. Stay far away.
Horrible renewal policy. Did a free trial for a year, never used it, was billed again. Requested a refund less than a week after I was charged when I saw the billing. Refused to give any refund.
Dirty scammers! Don't ever buy their service. It's a piece of shit, not even worth a fraction of the price. That's why I canceled well within the trial period. Meanwhile my account details changed, which I updated much before I asked for a refund. Guess where these sons of bi***es sent the money: to my cancelled bank account, which of course, was redirected to them. So they are still sitting on my money, lying that the transaction was successful. It obviously wasn't! Avoid them at all cost!!!
If I could give this app a MINUS 5, I would do so. The app itself is glitchy and doesn't work half the time. The educational emails they send out have so many errors they are useless. It's not just minor errors. Completely wrong language, or cut and paste from the day before. I would be embarrassed to have a business this bad. But worse...MUCH worse...is the fact that they have predatory billing. Once you sign up, it's impossible to cancel. They bill without warning, and when the error is pointed out, they refuse to refund. DO NOT GET THIS APP!
Amazing customer support and very helpful app to get better at my French :)
Their customer service representative was willing to work with me on getting a partial refund which made me happy. I like companies that will work with their customers to make sure they have a pleasant experience.
Stupid app stopped working completely and went blank. Not possible to continue and no way to resolve the issue or any customer support whatsoever
Don’t buy this crap!!!!
I didn't actually get to use Jumpspeak's language services. My review is for their customer support. The instructions for securing a cancellation and refund were clear and easy to follow. And the representative I spoke to through email was very kind. I appreciate those small details!
I was intrigued by the lifetime, single cost membership but soon realized that was the initial hook. In order to get the one-on-one tutoring and the premium AI, there was way more out of pocket expenses. It was fairly good as far as the lessons were concerned but not better than what I had used before. So I decided to stay with my previous program. The refund process seems straightforward and simple. Hopefully it it is.
I am enjoying the app overall. Right now I am focusing on Spanish, but I love that I have other options. The platform is upbeat and very interactive. I can even set a reminder for my daily lesson. It has many features to help in my overall development such as speech speed and closed caption options.
In addition, I was inadvertently charged with the AI feature after the trial was over. I reached out to customer service and they were quick to respond and refund my money.
If you are looking to brush up on you skills in a particular language, or want to learn a new one, this app is very useful and affordable.

I liked Jumpspeak. However it was a bit above my level. I gave it a good go in the preview period, and decided I needed something a little more basic. I was pleased to get the credit back from Jumpspeak and they were good at handling this.

I had a very complicated login problem which I couldn’t unravel. I nearly gave up. But the customer support persevered and resolved my login. Using the app now and really enjoying its content
So far so good! I had a minor bump in that I was charged twice for my subscription. They quickly resolved it! Looking forward to the journey to a new language
