I signed up for the 100-day trial, and although I thought it was a very good program, I decided I have too much going on at this time. I’ll probably go back later. I reached out for a refund and it was completely hassle-free. They have excellent response time and customer service.

Update: After several emails back and forth and informing Jumpspeak that I had posted here and on the App Store, they did eventually refund the charge. They insist that I was notified and it must have gone to spam or trash; I can’t find any evidence of that. But they did make it right in the end so I’m changing my review to 3 stars.
Original: Jumpspeak has you sign up for an annual plan but does not notify you before charging that annual subscription fee, or after it has transacted. It has the least transparency of anything in this industry that I have encountered. They do not use Apple subscriptions in their iOS app so you can’t see their subscription in that view. It’s virtually invisible. They charged me and refused to refund because I hadn’t asked about it within a 24 hour window, which was because there was no notification. It may follow their policies, but I would argue that their policies are set up to deceive and manipulate.
Also I didn’t like their product and hadn’t used it in months, which is why the invisible annual renewal feels even more manipulative.
The program was totally oversold and very expensive. As a senior citizen, I must be careful with how and where I spend my resources. I paid for a 1 year subscription, hoping beyond hope it would live up to its hype but I was disappointed from the start. I did not use the app for about 10 months and I was surprised when it automatically renewed without giving me any warning. It can due on 10 Feb but when I appealed to the app for a refund on the 11th Feb, I was flatly refused, being directed by their AI response program to their 'policy'. I would flatly NOT RECOMMEND this app to anyone.

Will not reply to my cancellation request and refund as part of their 100 day free cancellation. I emailed to cancel on Jan 24th and they replied promptly the next day on the 25th with an offer to stay. I kept trying the app in hopes that I would enjoy it but on feb 7th I replied asked for the refund and had no reply. I emailed again on the 10th and still no reply. Its now the 13th and ive had no replies at all. I want my money back!
I was having some issues in setting up my account and password. The support team was fabulous in helping me navigate thru my issues, as I am not comfortable with certain aspects of the computer. I am now up and running!

Jumpspeak customer service responded to my email request within 24 hours and couldn’t find my account at first, because I had them the wrong email address and they asked if maybe I had another email registered and I provided that and the issue was resolved. I appreciated that they took the time to troubleshoot my issue.

I really like the design of the app. The user interface is clear, fast, and logically structured.
As for the content, I find it interesting. I’m currently at an A1–A2 level in Italian and downloaded the app to improve my speaking skills. However, the learning path started from the very beginning (greetings and numbers). I would prefer to skip those basic sections, but it’s not clear how far I can advance without missing important material.
At the same time, most of the roleplays — as well as the AI chat — feel slightly above my current level. To stay more engaged, I would have needed content that better bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate, aligning more closely with my actual proficiency.
I also found the subscription structure overly complex. The various plans, packages, and special deals make it difficult to understand exactly what you receive for your money. With so many options available, it’s easy to feel uncertain about whether you’ve chosen the best offer.
The course content, support and the real time interaction make this language learning service superior to others. What is especially beneficial is the immediate feedback in each of the categories. It helps to build confidence and adds to rapid progress along the learning curve.

It was a decent application I just didn't feel that it was a fit for me
Jumpspeak is a new experience for me. I have tried many different language learning programs over the years but Jumpspeak is a little different. It’s like they sampled all other programs and used the best bits for Jumpspeak.I am enjoying the mix of spoken, written and listening exercises
The audio in Jumpspeak suddenly stopped working. It's really hard to learn a language without the audio! The Tech Team responded in about 12 hours after I contacted them. They were concerned and very helpful. What stood out to me was their responsiveness and actually taking the time to listen. My issue was resolved and I'm very impressed with the individual support I received.
It started out well with five words basic words, I went through it rather quickly and reviewed it and everything went good. The the next section however, sent me back only one of the review words was in this six word sentence so they gave me the English version and six Italian words that I had to put in order to complete the session after four attempts I gave up because it seemed more like a guessing game than actual teaching, but that’s just me. I can’t learn that way others might find this perfectly normal to them.
Prompt and understanding response to my request for a refund. But still waiting. Hopefully it will be soon.
I had a small issue after signing up for Jumpspeak and I have been really impressed that they have taken the time and trouble to respond to me and we are going to sort this issue out. It is nothing that can’t be solved.
I’ve still been able to use Jumpspeak and I am positive that it’s going to be successful for me in my language learning journey. It is an extremely easy program to follow and I appreciate the assistance with pronunciation and sentence structure.
I intend to recommend this program to family and friends as a pleasant and enjoyable way to learn another language.
