Judge.me Reviews 

I left a review on a website and somehow the judge.me plugin on the website either pulled my name that was registered with the website or it pulled it from a "non-existent judge.me account" and used that name in the review. When I tried to change my display name via the website settings it didn't work, nor did the review link itself where I typed my actual review give me the option to choose my display name. I don't want people knowing my actual name, I use a standard truncated nickname for this kind of thing because I don't want people to identify who I am.

I said "non-existent judge.me account" because I never created one via the judge.me website in the first place, so when I had to create yet-another-online-account for judge.me on their website I was shocked to see it had picked up reviews I had made on other websites which I didn't even know used judge.me! I then had to go to the review I left and change the display name for that review specifically. When I checked another review on another website I saw it displayed my full name which I had to change also!

It seems when people install this plugin on their Shopify store it pulls the account information from their database and uses the name registered on their website (or on the Shop Pay website) in the review or something, I don't know. Either way, the fact you can't edit your display name when leaving a review and only being able to change your display name on a review via the judge.me website is stupid design.

Such a weird and stupid system. It's clearly designed with sellers' requirements first and foremost before reviewers' requirements.

Helpful and easy to follow

I’ve recently used Judge.me to import Amazon reviews for two of my books onto my website, and I’m really pleased with the result.

The process took a little figuring out, particularly around the spreadsheet formatting, but once everything was set up correctly the reviews imported successfully and linked to the right products. I now have 13 reviews on one book and 10 on another, all displaying beautifully on my site.

Judge.me offers far more than I initially realised, including review imports, product review widgets and integrations with platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, Google, Meta and TikTok Shop.

A very useful app for independent authors and small businesses who want to bring their customer reviews together in one place. I’m delighted to have finally found a way to display my Amazon reviews on my own website.

Horrible. There customer service is AI. They do not allow for interaction to make customer review flow work. Not a great dynamic.
