Billing Scam

I put an item in my cart, entered my shipping and billing information for an item costing $48.88. When I clicked to finalize my purchase, I got a pop-up that my payment was being verified. Initially it failed but them I got a pop-up indicating I was going to get a OTC, One Time Code, via text to verify. At this point I got a message from my card company indicating there was a suspicious transaction attempt on my card and it asked if I was approving the card. The transaction amount was for $361.38 USD with the original currency and amount of 1356 SAR (Saudi Riyal).

Tried to buy a water filter

Tried to buy a water filter. Credit card wouldn’t go thru. But it said my card was added to my Samsung wallet. I didn’t know there was such a thing. Bank called and said they had detected fraudulent activity and were sending me a new card.

Shopping for electronics

Shopping for electronics, site listed PayPal as a payment method, when checking out only credit cards were available. Card was denied, but within a short while I received a notice from my bank that my card was added to an ApplePay wallet. I neither use, nor even have an ApplePay wallet. Card was cancelled.
