So pleased to find this company. Lovely and unusual products with good prices and a code for previous customers. Items really well packaged in sturdy boxes with lots of internal support. I wish they had an even broader range of products especially for gardeners like myself! Keep up the good work!

'I can and I will' porcelain mug by Joan & Joyce
I already owned an 'I can and I will' porcelain mug, which was bought at a present a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, it got broken so ordered a new one on the internet. On receiving the mug I noticed it was larger in size and not as fine a porcelain as the original. This was disappointing and for me impacted on the quality.

Really sorry to hear you've been left disappointed with the mug. McLaggan make a few different sizes and we've been stocking the 'Quite Big size for a number of years rather than the smaller standard size. Production changes on the back of the disruption to the supply of materials and available manufacturers over the last few years have also led to changes in the makeup of the bone china use to make the mugs. It can be really hard when trying to replace something from before 2020 now as there have been so many changes across all our products!
I'm happy to tell you though that we provide free returns on all orders - if this is something you'd like to do, please do send an email to hello@joyceandjoan.co.uk and we'll be able to send over a pre-paid Royal Mail postage label (you can also book collection from your address so there's no need to drop the parcel off anywhere). Hunted high and low to find a replacement for a broken mug. Found exactly what I was looking for on Joyce & Joan, price was better than any other seller I could find, order process was easy and item arrived promptly in perfect condition with excellent packaging so am now enjoying a nice cup of tea in my “Big Drink” mug. 4 Heritage Mugs "Made in China"
Today I received 4 Heritage Mugs. The mugs themselves were fine. However, I didn't expect the box to say "Made in China". I thought I was buying a product produced in the UK. I had specifically looked for mugs produced in this country. I have kept them but I am disappointed that "Made in China" does not appear anywhere in your specifications.

We don't list the country of manufacture on any products not made locally but we will absolutely add this to our list for future improvements.
