Avoid This Place- COWBOYS

The owner (one man band) is an absolute arrogant idiot.

Mapped my car and to be fair to him the garage is immaculate and he talks a good talk, it was strangely quiet with no work going on which surprised me, gave it all the talk about how his maps are the best in the business.

He loaded a cheap £5 generic flash map to my car ( I know this I have checked with Jorvik tuning in York) the fancy mustang dyno he has there is just for show as is his fancy mclaren outside.

Car felt no different on the drive home and had no end of issues with it, auto box changing at the wrong time, dpf overloaded warning, adblue warning, I took it back and asked for it to be put back to stock, he got really arrogant and his attitude towards me stunk- how dare I question his work! he stormed off and tried to flash it with no battery support on the car and destroyed the ECU.

All of a sudden it's not his fault and every question I asked was answered with 'I don't know'

It cost me over £6000 to put the car right- new ECU and a full set of injectors because they were electrically dead.

Avoid this place, every other review is the same or similar, it turns out the guy is an ex nightclub bouncer and no previous automotive electrical or mechanical experience and from what I have seen just wings it.

This guy is a crook

This guy is a crook, abusive threatening people .
He breaks peoples cars and then will not give a refund. Avoid at all cost.
He lies, and do not do half the work he promise to do, it is all generic maps, not even specific to your car.
If you want your car remapped go to a proper tuning service. This guy is just I read it somewhere on line.

Jorvik tuning bad company avoid!!!

Took my car to jorvik tuning up the rhondda for a remap guy seemed honest and genuine workshop was spotless although no 1 there or any other vehicles, he mapped my car so I payed and left initially the car seemed spot on but few days later i noticed 4th gear car was holding back and was kangaroo back and fore i took it back and was told he had reset all the values on egr maf ect and to try it which i did the issues were gone but the car felt like it did when i first took it there i contacted him again and asked for a dyno run and if it makes the power he advertised on his website I'll apologize in which I was told £250 for a dyno run knowing what i know about cars i took it elsewhere ignite performance in aberdare they dyno'd car and it was 1bhp more than stock they mapped it correctly and its now running what it should be jorvik tuning is a joke the guy is so up his own arse he clearly shouldn't be trading my advice is if you want a remap avoid jorvik tuning trading standards and small claims court pending plz share far and wide company's like this need to be weeded out!

This company was my worst nightmare

This company was my worst nightmare. Rude staff and an extortionate fee of £150, all to tell me 'there's something mechanically wrong with your car'. The guy was no more specific than that. Like really? He also complained to Trustpilot to get my other review removed, so I'm back to post another one. Booking Jorvick was a complete waste of £150 for no more than 10 minutes of pressing buttons. It was an absolute rip-off, wish I'd never heard of the place. Suffice to say I'll never go there again and cannot recommend. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Jorvik, A Very Rude & Greedy Person

An absolutely diabolical service and an extremely unhelpful, petty and childish bloke running it. I paid him £150 cash to be told 'there's something mechanical wrong with your car'. Are you serious? Everytime we asked the gym bunny running it a question, the response was 'I don't know, I don't know, I don't know'. Why take £150 and tell me you would identify the fault then??? I'm a middle aged woman with no knowledge of engines but I already knew there was something mechanical wrong with the car! Jorvick are a 100% rip off, run by an ill-informed show off. He couldn't wait to take all that money and we were only there five minutes. Disgusting. Rip off Britain at its most brutal. BEWARE.
