Knee pain
Back at the end of July my NHS knee appointment was abruptly cancelled one Sunday afternoon and I could wait no longer.
I emailed Joint pain clinic immediately and had a rapid reply, arranged a video consultation for the following day. I discussed my problem and wishes with Aamir and arranged a visit for the day after. Aamir checked my knees and we agreed to proceed with Arthrosamid injections In both knees.
The whole process was very professional, spotlessly clean and Aamir and the staff extremely pleasant. All done in two days. Overall a comfortable and satisfying experience , also very competetivly priced.
I am now 6 weeks on from my injections and I am pleased to say that my knee pain has improved dramatically. I have a few more weeks before the Arthrosamid is fully integrated so hopefully I may see even more improvement, either way I am very very happy with the result so far.
I would 100% recommend Aamir and the joint pain clinic.

Excellent service & well looked after
I went to see Mr Khan last week, I was in agony, my shoulder was frozen & I could barely move it or my arm. He was so kind & understanding & very explanatory. He assessed my shoulder by ultrasound. I had several issues & he then did 2 guided cortisone injections, which have helped the pain immensely. I still have limited movement, but I know it can take a couple of weeks to get the full effect. But that awful nagging pain has gone. I felt extremely comfortable & informed on my visit. I also received the report from Liza promptly which I have now passed on to my GP, highly recommend & thank you

I would recommend them to anyone I have seen many private professional before and all they are concerned about is you paying them for their time with no out come found this place on line got booked in straight away they examined me found the issue and gave me injections to relieve my pain instantly and the next day back to my normal self literally pain free and more importantly I can think normally as it’s not just the pain relief it’s a mental relief I will be using them for the follow up to find the cause of my siatica

Knee and ankle pain
From my first contact with the clinic I have been very impressed. Liza telephoned me to go through my request and she was very reassuring. I attended clinic last night. Aamir was most welcoming. After having an ultrasound on both my knee and ankle Aamir explained where my problems were and we agreed the treatment plan. I had a cortisone injection in my knee and almost immediately felt the relief of being pain free. I would definitely recommend this clinic and would have no hesitation in using again.

Mr Khan is one of the most sympathetic and kind practitioners you could ever meet. He is so polite explains everything to you so clearly and carried out my 2nd knee aspiration with a gel injection with patience care and total empathy. Having struggled with a painful elbow…
Having struggled with a painful elbow for several weeks and trying to alleviate the pain with a range of over the counter and first aid measures, I contacted the Joint Pain Clinic and was seen the next day. Aamir scanned my elbow and identified a tear in a tendon which he recommended a cortisone injection to aid recovery. The procedure was not uncomfortable as he used a local anaesthetic and I felt an improvement straight away. Over a couple of days my condition has improved, I am pleased and relieved to have this condition diagnosed and treated in the same consultation.
I was given a small brace to wear which has also enabled me to get on with my day to day activities.
Everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. It’s a comfortable and peaceful environment and I would highly recommend booking a consultation if you are struggling with joint pain.

Pleasantly surprised
The clinic is beautifully decorated, creating a sense of calm and security from the moment you walk in. Dr. Aamir’s extensive knowledge, which he openly shared, along with his patience (I’m not the easiest patient), and his clear experience were evident throughout the treatment. The injections were virtually painless. I still need to wait for the final results, but I already know I’ll be returning to him in the future.

Marathon training injury
I am training for a marathon and started experiencing pain to my calf and around my knee area . I was seen by Aamir,he did a thorough examination using an ultrasound and diagnosed me with tenderness on the IT band and the hamstrings tendons. He explained fully what my options were and we decided on the herbal injection. He carried out the procedure and made a treatment plan for me and we are hoping I can restart my training very soon.
A huge thank you to Aamir and his team for there professionalism and expertise.

Joint pain analysis and teatment
Having been an enthuiastic and busy outdoor walker and rambler, I have had to curtail these activities due to knee and ankle pain.
I booked into the Joint Pain Clinic and was seen by Mr Safdar-Khan. He did an ultrasound scan of both joints and was able to identify problems in both knee and ankle. I had treatment on my knee at that first appointment which helped alleviate my knee pain and give me back a better degree of mobility. I have follow up appointments to investigate both joints further.
Mr Safar-Khan discussed a follow up plan with me and his colleages to carry out a bio mechanical assessment and to develop a pro-active plan to deal with my troublesome joints.
I am so pleased to have found this clinic and recieve prompt, professional, medical analysis, treatment, reassurance and follow-up appointments to suit me.

I recently visited the Joint Pain Clinic in Harborne for treatment with Mr Samir Khan and once again received outstanding care. He previously treated tendinitis in my left arm, and this time performed a steroid injection on my right.
Mr Khan is a fantastic consultant – professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. While of course this is his profession, it’s clear that he truly remembers his patients and takes a real interest in their progress.
