I use secret clinical but the secret I figured out is that I can use it for 6 months and then switch to a different brand for three months to make it click in and work again!!! I love secret clinical but I think that the different scents might not be as effective cause all those scents

They said they sent the reminder email before the subscription renewal, but I did not get an email, and they did not send any proof

I purchased this a year ago and tried multiple times throughout the year to cancel it. Somehow, despite doing my part, the cancellation never went through. Then, out of nowhere, I’m charged again—at a higher amount—and with absolutely zero authorization on my end.

To make matters worse, I reached out to support within an hour of the charge hitting my account, only to be told by Mary that it’s “non-refundable.” Seriously? I didn’t even receive a receipt, a notice, or any confirmation that a renewal was about to happen. Nothing.

After checking other reviews, it looks like I’m far from the only person this has happened to. Which tells me this isn’t an isolated mistake—it’s a pattern. Their online cancellation clearly does not work, and they seem to be taking advantage of customers who assume they’re opted out.

At this point, it feels like a complete scam. Charging customers more money without authorization, refusing refunds despite immediate contact, failing to send renewal notices—it’s unacceptable. I’m warning anyone considering this company: be careful. Their renewal system and “cancellation” process are not to be trusted.

I canceled my JoinSecret subscription before the renewal, but they still charged me and claimed the cancellation never happened. I had no access to cancellation confirmation on their site, and customer support refused to refund me.

If you plan to cancel, do it well in advance, take screenshots, and follow up repeatedly to confirm it went through. Otherwise, you might end up charged with no recourse. Very disappointed in how this was handled. I may have used them in the future or recommended to clients as their service can give you some benefits for a startup.

However, never again - stay far away.

UPDATE: replying to their reply that they offer cancellation - yes, shortly after I received the email I went to the site and cancelled. I'm not sure if there was a bug or what, but it appeared to cancel and obviously did not. At least, this is the best case scenario - that the missed cancellation was not intentional.

I had an issue with a code, and the support was absolutely stellar in providing me with a new one very quickly. For a minute, I thought maybe the bad reviews were right, but my experience so far is entirely positive.

The premium pays for itself. I was glad I made this investment while starting my startup. I got 10X value for what I paid for. During the early days where I am bootstrapping and every penny counts SECRET became a lifesaver for make.com, typeform, Notion and many more platforms!

Be careful with this company. It is rejecting payments for alleged handling of different IPPs. This is what they invent, and they do not provide any information to the user as to whether this is real or where it is from, because it is a fallacy.

This an outright scam. Not only not they give anything one cannot get without them, they actually add an extra layer of complexity, making the process much more time consuming. I paid their yearly plan, wasted a couple of hours of my time and got nothing. When I asked for refund they shortly answered they won’t do it and then just started ignoring my messages.

Once again: you can get every single “deal” they have without them and spending much less time.

Secret is a great value for new startups, and probably was the best investment I made in the early days of my company. Pays for itself more or less instantly with Premium, very responsive staff. Not sure why my last review was deleted since I don’t work for this company and they didn’t ask me to write a review. I signed up for Premium a year ago, can easily prove that, and will likely renew again when needed. Nothing but good things to say, and new offerings get added frequently. Great deal. Recommended.

Worst & SCAM Company

I tried their premium subscription. Offer didn't work, i reached them out multiple times to cancel my account. They didn't cancel my account nor provide response. Stay away from this company

Refuse refund as they state unlocking a deal is equal to redeemed, which is not true.
This is a big con,
I will be getting a chargeback.

Once you sign up, you will never be able to quit from their annoying email marketing campaigns that will spam your inbox forever.

I have no experience.
But I know this app is all about costumer reviews.

Phenomenal experience honestly. Every deal I chose worked, when I connected with their partners (e.g. Intercom, DigitalOcean) there was no back-and-forth, the credits were immediately approved.

Their support is great, very friendly people and I think they go out of their way to help startups.

10/10 I've recommended secret 2-3 times already in-person.

I love Secret. Honestly. It's like getting VC perks without the VC :)

Terrible experience, no support. I've paid, got receipt but I'm still on freemium and no one answer. I'm filing for charge back. To be avoided.

I subscribed to Premium and so far no offer other than for new customers. At no point do they make it clear that most offers are for new customers or free accounts. If I don't find any solutions, from Secret's partners, I will have burned $99. Bad, very bad!

All deals were smoke screens to grab money..
there was not a single deal I could avail.

The deals advertised are a money grab, with a short description that grabs you, but once you get subscription, the details of the deal are elaborate that are hard to achieve.
