Adri, our care advocate, has been so helpful navigating my breast cancer diagnosis. It’s already overwhelming having that diagnosis and she has been great at answering all my questions. Although a little more work on my end getting things like estimates for upcoming procedures, it’s 100% worth it since I feel like I have more of a say in my treatment.

I joined Crowdhealth a few months ago. I love that I have a customer care specialist I can contact via text with any questions - it's personal and warm, not bureaucratic. When asked, they have provided lists of highly recommended specialist doctors in my area to contact. They make the process easy. I was given the membership annual wellness credit of $295 for a recent appointment. I'm hopeful for the future, in the event of a real health crises. I'm a business owner and it's difficult for me to get affordable health insurance (no boss or company I work for) So far, I'm loving it!

I’m blown away by how responsive the CrowdHealth team is. We have been members for a little over a year and just had a health event for the first time. Not only does the team care, they walk you through the process leaving no room for question!

While signing up, I'd mentioned to the sales rep several times that we had a baby on the way and wanted immediate coverage. He repeatedly stated that coverage starts as soon as you sign up (which, for a newborn, is 2 weeks after birth). This in fact was not the case. Crowdhealth also defaults to auto-approve funding requests, so in the span of a few days I was billed for membership which we'd never used, paid for someone else's birth, and refused a refund. The reps fell back on fine print saying "this is our customer policy", despite the email correspondence with their rep suggesting otherwise.

I've spoken with many other parents who joined and had similar experiences, so I'm skeptical of the reviews here which skew nearly all positive.

We are overall very pleased with our CrowdHealth experience. It is a great alternative to traditional health insurance, and we really appreciate the transparency, the easy-to-use app, the friendly staff, and the referral program.

It was a little unnerving to see a hospital bill go to collections while it was being negotiated and then finally paid after a year. We learned through the process about the credit score rules with medical debt and about the CrowdHealth negotiation tactics that draw out the timeline to whittle down the price. The outcome was positive - costs were kept low for us and the crowd - though through the process, more regular and proactive updates would have been appreciated.

We also had a health event denied because something in the algorithm marked it as a previously diagnosed or treated condition, which is not accurate. We still need to correct this with CrowdHealth, and we're hoping it's a simple fix.

We have happily referred two other families to CrowdHealth - one who has signed up, and another who will once the enrollment period for their traditional health insurance arrives. We believe in the CrowdHealth product as a strong alternative for responsible & healthy individuals who no longer want to be gouged by health insurers. Thankfully, we've not had to turn to CrowdHealth for anything catastrophic, which would be the real test, but we are content with the risk we and the crowd are assuming for each other in order to step out of the bureaucratic and rent seeking health insurance industry.

I sent a message with questions since this was my first time using Crowd Health. The reply was fast and helpful. I submitted my bill and was reimbursed within a week.

Having a CrowdHealth agent, a real human being, in your corner, rooting you along in your health journey and helping you navigate the challenges of care, billing, and self advocacy is priceless. I haven't had any issues receiving funding for the treatments and equipment/supplies required for optimal injury recovery. Grateful!

I love having a personal representative at CrowdHealth who can answer questions. She is SO helpful. I also just scheduled a colonoscopy through their Colonoscopy Assist program and it was SO easy. I’m so grateful that I don’t have to be the one to haggle with the price. They do all the hard work for you!

I had a serious bone fracture sustained in a biking accident soon after becoming a CH Member. Crowd health processed my claim and my medical bills in a way that made sense and was clear and understandable. I received payment back to me from the Crowd for charges above my out of pocket max - system worked as described. Would recommend

My frozen shoulder injury was my first health event with Crowdhealth. My health care advocate was extremely helpful in finding a great provider where I was able to schedule my MRI and later my hydrodilation shot for my shoulder. I was initially worried about having to jump through hoops to get what I needed done, but my health care advocate did a great job making things run smoothly and helping me get the care I needed.

Can’t thank CrowdHealth enough for making healthcare more affordable and accessible for those of us who do not qualify for employer health Insurance benefits. Our family of four can feel empowered to choose our own providers, receive covered well checks ($300 per person annually), and we feel safe knowing the CrowdHealth community has our backs in an emergency. The app is easy to use, refunds are processed in less than 2 weeks from receipt upload, and all questions are answered quickly. What is even better, all this for almost half the monthly contribution we were giving to CHM.

CrowdHealth has been exactly what I hoped it would be! As someone who does not have many healthcare needs and was never going to hit my $8,000 deductible, traditional health insurance didn’t make sense for me. CrowdHealth gives me peace of mind knowing I am not completely on my own if something catastrophic does happen, while also giving me the freedom to see the providers I want. The included virtual care and talk therapy benefits are amazing. Customer service is top notch and they are so transparent as a company. I also just love knowing my contributions to the crowd are actually helping people who also value their health and not just lining a CEO’s pockets. Highly recommend!
