Would give ZERO STARS if I could

Would give ZERO STARS if I could. Ordered a duvet and it wasn't right, so I sent it back and have had RADIOSILENCE from the company since and no refund. They owe me money!! Scammers. Avoid avoid avoid.

Do not buy from Debenhams- John cotton market place! Awful!

Do not buy from this company on Debenhams market place.
Customer service is of no response and non existence.
Ordered 3 snuggledown duvets, only 2 arrived and all under the same tracking number. The missing item is hard to track due to the same tracking number used, the items shows as delivered. More chasing and sorting needed to be done with yodel. Debenhams customer services have stepped in and hopefully sorting refund and return, but this has taken over 2 weeks to do. Even Debenhams is slow to respond. Quite frustrating.

Non existent returns label

Ordered an electric throw from Debenhams. It was faulty and I had to request a refund. Customer service has still not sent a returns label after a week. Very shoddy service.

Customer service non existent,had to…

Customer service non existent,had to write multiple emails to receive a returns label to send a faulty electric throw back that was bought for a Christmas present,finally received a returns label, by the time I had received it and sent it back and had to wait for 14 days for my money back,guess what no money returned emails being ignored,I raised my case with PayPal ,and because I was 30 days over the delivery date if the item they told me case was closed!!!i was only late in complaining due to late reply from JOHN COTTON re returns label re how long I had to wait for refund,maybe this is how they get out of paying back refunds???I will never be using this company again,be warned I ordered through Debenhams not realising i would then be dealing with the company the throw was from and not with Debenhams so be careful what company Debenhams are using before ordering..I am down money and my partner a present for Christmas,I don't have money to burn , awful company to deal with.

Great customer care

Recently needed to get a replacement controller for my electric blanket and got excellent service from JC they helped me find the right controller and even shipped outside UK for free, pity others suppliers are not as customer centric.

STOLE MY MONEY!

Customer service not replying, after a month finally got a response to try and return the item. They then have taken delivery of the parcel and not refunded the money, they are now not responding again.

My experience with this mattress store…

My experience with this mattress store has been nothing short of frustrating. Attracted by their flashy promotions and promises of premium quality, I purchased a mattress for $523,600, expecting top-tier comfort and durability.
Initially, everything seemed fine—the sales process was smooth, and the mattress was delivered on time. However, within weeks, the mattress began to sag and lose its shape. When I tried to contact customer service, I was met with long hold times, unhelpful responses, and a refusal to honor the warranty.
Thankfully, I found assistance through a team I trust, in my bio who helped me navigate the situation and recover most of what I spent. While I’m relieved to have resolved the issue, the entire experience has left me wary of this store. I strongly recommend doing thorough research before making any major purchase here.

Purchased quilt via Debenhams

Purchased quilt via Debenhams. The site glitched and it ordered two. Paid double postage. Sent one back and 4 weeks later still no refund- avoid at all costs, they ignore emails and won’t refund you. Infact it’s been 5 weeks now. Just painful

Useless

Ordered a quilt, they missed the delivery window so cancelled the order. Yodel turned up with the quilt at a later date, refused delivery that should be the end of it, not so. Yodel delivered it when I was not at home. Debenhams have been useless, I bought it on Debenhams website, John Cotton have been useless, buyer beware.

Incorrect product in packaging

I ordered a Superking duvet through a third party, the duvet packaging was the correct size however the duvet inside was a double or king. I was made to feel like a complete fool implying I couldn't measure a duvet. No attempt was made to remedy the situation and provide the correct product. The only redeeming part if the experience is that a refund has been processed. A lesson in customer service is required
