Great platform overall...

Great platform overall with a wide range of items and a smooth buying experience. I’ve had mostly positive experiences and would recommend it.
However, the automated payment system is inconsistent. Sometimes payments go through instantly, but other times they don’t process at all, which has caused me to lose items I successfully bid on. This is frustrating and definitely something that needs improvement.

Delivery was great and accurate

Delivery was great and accurate. All items as per my order.
All good and well, Free delivery if you order over 10kg's but
1) Reserve prices are too high and ending up paying to much.
2)RRP is constantly wrong or over priced. Up to 20-40%.
RRP advertise for a new item is £36.99, but in fact it is selling for £29.99 (24%) - Be aware
You end up paying more for the same items.

Peddlers of junk destined for the bin

Placed a bid on a tool set which was listed as a 40 piece and had photos accompanying it showing 40 pieces.
The item turned up with 10 pieces missing which was never mentioned on the listing.
After requesting a refund I received an email basically saying sold as seen, which is bullshit seen as I didn’t even see a photo representing the actual condition of the item.
Absolute scum bags, avoid at all cost

You have to be aware that the returned goods could be damaged and it’s a gamble as they are returns but the brand New stuff is great and the team pack with a very high accuracy!

You have to take into account that some…

You have to take into account that some items may not work and be torn. As I had with six plates and a milk frother. Also, only one item was sent twice, although 2 lots were indicated on the bidding page. But there are also new and good things.

Contact with JobaLot & poorly packed goods

There is no way to contact JobaLot. No chat on the website, no email, no telephone number.
The site is good, bidding works well. However, the goods arrive in broken due too heavy items and light and items packed together. The box is unstable and not strong enough to contain all the products. Goods are not packed well either. All products won on a day are put in one box. So, goods may have been good quality when won, but they arrive damaged due to poor packing. Delivery drivers have also left broken boxes on the doorstep broken.

Overall is it worth it?

Overall is it worth it? Honestly i dont think so. Alot of items are heavily used and damaged beyond fixing. Your paying tax on items that are second hand, and most dont work. So really your paying for things just to put it in the bin. On top of that some of the packaging has been questionable, where a box will be partly ripped open so you dont even know if anything fell out during delivery. I got a paper shredder and it was so used and damaged, nothing i did would fix it. It looked like it was sticky, with thick paper stuck all through it like someone used a big book in it. And thats only one issue of the many i have.
The manifest doesnt give anymore info than the auction it self, and there is basically no info on these items to know what condition the items are actually in.
I personally feel this site has potential, but there needs to be alot of changes for that to happen.
1. Please add more info on these auctions so people have more info on what they are buying.
2. Stop selling completely broken items, that are beyond repair. Its not going to help you keep customers, when your basically selling trash.
I understand the concept of the website, but its not trust worthy.

I can only hope you take on board the reviews and take action to make your site a positive interaction for your customers.

Most of the purchases I have received…

Most of the purchases I have received are not fit for purpose and are mucky, smell and are only fit for the dustbin.
They used to be very good and assist if you have this sort of problem but now they are not interested. Beware!!!

Very nice prices

Very nice prices, quick responses from the stuff. Sometimes is a lottery with the products, but the majority have no issues. Some improvements can be done by sending the products a little sooner...
