I bought a second hand car from JJ…

I bought a second hand car from JJ Motors today. This was my first time buying a used car alone and I was delighted to find excellent service at JJ Motors. Everyone there was friendly and helpful while still being business-like and professional. Gavin Deans was great. He answered all my questions clearly and honestly and, once I had made my decision, he was on top of the paperwork involved in transferring ownership from my old car to the new. He helped out a lot, making the process easy and enjoyable, rather than stressful. Overall my experience of this dealership was great. And especial thanks to Gavin!

Bought a BMW i3 from these in November

Bought a BMW i3 from these in November. Car started to show a number of errors/faults

However, they stood by their sale and agreed to cover all costs without any argument what so ever, despite the large amount.

Cannot fault this dealer at all.

Poor customer service and withheld crucial information

Poor. All was polite during our test drive and we spoke about reserving. We did this straight away upon advice. We were told we had 7 days to complete our purchase. Two days later we are told the car has been sold. We called to talk to the manager and he spoke over us, kept saying ‘sorry but that’s the way it is’. The manager did not tell us that if someone comes to buy the car our reservation would be null and void, and when I called him out on this he made no attempt to say he would change in the future. When we asked to make a formal complaint and speak to someone higher up he said ‘there’s no point because I am the manager.’ When we pushed he said ‘you can write a letter and I will pass it on’. I have no doubt he will not do this. Do not trust this company one bit. Real shame

**ROGUE TRADERS**

**ROGUE TRADERS**. NV16MVM. Had a VAUXHALL INSIGNIA from these cowboys which is now back up for sale. Took 3 months to finally be able to reject this shed of a car. They sold it knowing it had a long list of problems and had already been rejected before I had it. It went back numerous times, once for over a week. They made sure the engine was running when I got there because they knew it needed glow plugs, new battery and clutch cylinder so the first morning I had the car it struggled to start. Eddy told me it's normal with these cars even though SVS flashed up on every start indicating the expensive pressure sensor glow plugs needed replacing. I had to spend over £100 on new battery and £300 on a new rear windscreen which shattered after they fitted a new DAB radio module which plugs into the glass. It went back for over a week because the radio didn't work, x2 12v power outlets didn't work, the rear light had standing water in because the seal is damaged, the guy who replaced tyres when it failed MoT split the side skirting with the jack. He then passed it with a bent MOT knowing the drivers side windscreen washer jet was blocked and the registration lights were not working. JJs just tipped out the 1cm of standing water from rear light cluster and put it back on. I had the vehicle inspected by a Vauxhall specialist who diagnosed a loose chain on the cam shafts which was under warranty (these engines have a belt and a chain) which is eating into the cylinder head. Can clearly hear it. He quoted £1500 for replacement light units, new belt and chain before VAT. The headlights are expensive on these cars. Eddy told me, and also the finance company that the water in the lights is normal at this time of the year, it's not! They just refused to honour the warranty. Car needs a new top mount on the steering as diagnosed by their mechanic but then when it went back to them to do it they refused, claiming it's not faulty. The lens seal has perished on the near side headlight causing extreme condensation (MoT failure) which will eventually cause the DRL to fail due to the circuit board being on the bottom in the standing water. Gearbox isn't very smooth. My finance company had the car independently inspected. Results were that three of the light units on the car that have water in them (o/s rear light, o/s indicator light and n/s headlight) and the issue with the cam chain were all faults present at the point of sale. Blue Motor Finance therefore supported rejection of the vehicle. I have footage from my dashcam of Jordan and the punk guy valeter pointing to the headlight full of water and laughing about it, they then stuffed a rag and plastic bag into the headlight causing a fire hazard. The valeter test driven the car instead of the mechanic and played deaf saying couldn't hear the loud loose chain rattle. Car has had a stage 1 remap and DPF, Adblue EGR delete so is illegal anyway. JJs lied to the finance company that they had already paid for me to have the cam chain replaced but then were shown to be dishonest when it was inspected. Absolute cowboys who knowingly sell bad cars. I have lots of photos of the many faults and dash cam footage, AVOID

What can I say

What can I say, Both Eddy and the team are the best that we have ever come across. As from the long journey from Gosport to Derby just to view our 'Vinny', Eddy said to us that he was worried about that we might not like him. How wrong was he! Our Vinny was calling for us and we loved him at first sight. During the whole journey to get hold of him, Eddy was always there to let us know what was happening. We can not thank him enough. He is one of a kind.

We recently purchased a Ford Mondeo…

We recently purchased a Ford Mondeo from JJ Motor's. Having looked at their reviews we thought we would give them a try. I am not a fan of second hand car dealers and normally buy private. However I have to say, I've been nothing but impressed with this company. We had a problem with the car 4 weeks after purchase and returned it to the dealership. We were informed that the vehicle wasn't covered by warranty because of age and mileage, but they would still take a look. Around 4 days later we were informed the car would be repaired at a cost of £478!
JJ motor's paid this bill and returned our car. You don't get much better than this for customer care. I was told, we are here to help people, any other problems just give us a call.
We would highly recommend this company and the great staff, that looked after us and our car!
Thanks guys!!

Mercedes C class

I'm always sceptical of buying from some place other than a dealership but as we are both now retired, we can't really stretch to a brand new Mercedes.

However, Jordan at JJ Motors really went out of his way to find us a stunning low mileage example that was within our budget.

Itr's refreshing to meet a young man who is so full of enthusiasm and really wants to give service above and beyond that you normally receive.

Thank you Jordan, we're really delighted with our new car.
