Shaftesbury, Dorset. Yet again no pharmacist on site so unable to collect my regular batch prescription. Girl behind counter unhelpful and uninterested, rude to elderly lady customer in front of me. No signs on door advising that they had no pharmacist and couldn't give out prescriptions. Girl shrugged when I asked whether they would have a pharmacist the following day, as they apparently don't know until the morning if there will be someone. For a company who's business is to dispense medication, surely the most important staff member is the pharmacist? Terrible service, the people of Shaftesbury deserve a better service.

The shelves are empty, the staff are rude and they're frequently just closed at random with no explanation or way to contact anyone. It can be a nightmare to collect your prescription so ask your doctor to make Wells Pharmacy (literally just opposite) your default one and avoid this place like the plague.

Sandown/Isle of Wight branch. They did away with Saturday opening hours. First introduced a lunchtime closure, and then a request to drop off your prescriptions 7 days in advance. But every time I went to collect them nothing was ready to just be handed over. And last time I was told it was now 10 days in advance. Always quite a few people milling about in the background (doing what?) and hardly anyone dealing with the public. Long queues and long waiting times, and quite frequently no service at all because of no pharmacist on the premises. Will use a different pharmacy now.

My daughter started an apprenticeship at one of jhoots branches,she was expected to deal with medication with no experience no one would help her when she asked questions or for help,was told she could not have time off without at least 2 weeks notice (not practical with emergencies in life)was spoken to by her manager like absolute dirt called a liar then terminated my daughters contract,would not recommend anyone to work for this company,very poorly ran and dealing with medication without training,dangerous

If I was able to leave zero stars I would. Bromford Pharmacy, Birmingham. These people are supposed to delivery my mothers medication monthly - she is 86. They fail to delivery and my poor mother is given that the fault is the GP has not sent her prescription after they have requested it - which is untrue as checked with the GP. They then tell my mother that she must go 4 miles away to another of their pharmacies to collect her medication and they hadn't got it. When my mother was able to get support with travelling there, only half of her medications were waiting,and advised that she needed to return for the rest ! Also they do not stock the basic pharmacy needs - went for a bandage for a wound and they didn't stock any - had to travel to a supermarket to get one - very poor and unreliable service - avoid at all costs

This company consistently fails to deliver on the critical services. The laissez faire attitude of the board of directors to ensuring their business has the appropriate pharmacist in their premises is disgraceful. I have written to the pharmacy regulator stating that the board should be held account for their failings before they start killing people.

Jhoots Bath Buildings Montpelier Bristol - kept saying they couldn't get my asthma inhalers, just handed over an FP10 form to take to another pharmacy plus general air of being totally shambolic - went to Stokes Croft Pharmacy who said 'we always have this in stock'. Strongly advise anyone at Montpelier Heath Centre to change to another if they have Jhoots as their chosen pharmacy. I have had local health professionals roll their eyes and smilingly say 'I can't possibly comment' when I moan about Jhoots.

I Just went down to pick up my daughters prescription and yet again a sign on the door saying they are closed today. (Tuesday) Apparently no pharmacist again. Seems a regular issue so if you can get into town I would suggest going there for your medication.

Jhoots Kingswood, no Pharmacist on Duty for Weeks. No cover discussed with staff Medication bagged but they cannot Despense not allowed. Patients including myself run out of Medication. Needs urgently reviewing for cover when absent.

I visited my local Jhoots Pharmacy at Newbridge Wolverhampton yesterday (Thursday) to have a 24 hour blood pressure monitor fitted. I was extremely anxious but the young lady who fitted the monitor, really put me at ease and spent time explaining how to manage it.
I then returned the monitor today (Friday) where both Lisa, and Satty were so cheerful and helpful. They explained how the results would go to my doctor who would then contact me.
Lisa and the new team here are so approachable and so happy to help you.
This pharmacy is next to my surgery at Newbridge so I will be more than happy to recommend their service

Poor service. Enquired about possible treatment for constipation for my breast feeding daughter, was told can’t do that midwife needs to advise. Asked if I could see the pharmacist was told he’s busy. Asked if I could wait, was told if you like.
Rude. Unhelpful & wrong information given. Will not be visiting this pharmacy in the future.
Checked with another pharmacy who gave helpful correct advise.

Hopeless bunch. Had their day. Not enough staff. Pharmicist frequently unavailable. Sandgate Road branch Folkestone now closed. Now have to go into the adjacent surgery and fill in a form to nominate another pharmacy. Can't collect the signed off prescription and take it to any pharmacy like you could before. Like so many other issues the whole country is going backwards.

I am unable to collect my prescriptions due to being shut for 2 weeks now. I need a repeat prescription from the doctor's surgery to try another chemist. I won't be using this chemist again.

Since taking over Lloyds Pharmacy they have cut back on staff, Completely failed to provide a satisfactory service. They fail to fufil medication requests either by altering the medication or not supplying what is requested. This company is continuosly putting peoples lifes at risk and should not be in business

Today Friday 14th February 2025 10.30 am. I went to to the chemist to get my prescription and when I got there a sign saying closed also a form stuck on the door by bailiffs. Has the chemist closed down. They are never open. I am now having to ring my doctors to get another prescription sent to another chemist and wait until next week to get it. So much for technology. Jhoots head office don't even answer their phone. Useless.

Weston Village Bath branch closed about 10 days ago. Report of Holsworthy branch staff unpaid.

NHS need to remove from pharmacy list.

The Sandgate Road, Folkestone, branch of Jhoots is a complete joke. They are often closed without notice, usually because there is no pharmacist available. This pharmacy is in the same building as a busy doctors surgery and, when open, often has lots of people waiting for prescriptions. There is hardly any stock and often looks as though it has been ransacked. The staff are generally kind and helpful, but Jhoots are pathetic. They are not providing a reliable service and, when closed without warning, all you get is a note telling you to phone NHS 111 for an emergency prescription, and we all know how difficult it is to get through to NHS 111. I have now changed pharmacy to another in the town. This is not so convenient for me, but at least they provide a good service.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option,
WEST SWINDON, SHAW branch. Totally unprofessional & aggressive, argumentative and outright rude. Putting my child’s health at risk. I took my customer elsewhere and I’m so glad I did.

The pharmacist was friendly and quick and the medication was in stock.

Appalling pharmacy in Odd Down Bath - the building looks derelict form outside with the sign no longer visible and the paint has all come off. I now choose a pharmacy further away as they never had my medication in and gave no explanation, just told to go elsewhere with the prescription. Shelves are empty and staff hostile. Dread to think what people do if they required life saving medication or unable to drive.
