Never ever use Jetabroad

Never ever use Jetabroad . They are scam artists. I booked my flights from Auckland to Argentina via Melbourne, 8 months before flying on 28th February. I paid $4000 NZ dollars. They demanded more money from me 3 months before I was due to fly. There is zero customer service. The email was very threatening and said if I did not pay I may not be able to board the flights. This threat was made in writing. I sorted this out after hours of trying over a period of days and they agreed to waive the fee. To be clear at no time did I change any part of my booking.
Then one week before my trip of a lifetime to Ushuaia, Argentina and my cruise to Antarctica - tens of thousands of dollars invested in the trip and specialised gear- they demanded more money. They again threatened me with not being able to board my flight - bought and paid for 8 months in advance. As a single woman travelling alone I dreaded being stranded at a foreign airport, where I did not speak the language and missing the cruise. Shame on them. Shame on them - what should have been a time of excitement and fun became a nightmare.

We can see that your booking was affected by Schedule Change twice since you booked with us. We hope you understand that Schedule changes are initiated by the airline, not a travel agency.

As explained to you over the email and phone, Jetabroad has service fees as part of its business model, and these are acknowledged by customers prior to booking.
Our fees apply when we need to reissue the tickets due to voluntary - or involuntary - changes. These fees are not hidden and are very much published on our website. Please click on the following link for your perusal - https://www.jetabroad.com.au/feesandcharges.

Jetabroad sent you the schedule change advise along with the payment link for our fees. We can see that these fees were signicantly reduced from NZD 54 per person down to NZD 10 per person and subsequently waived both times as a goodwill gesture.

Your tickets were re-issued and your booking was confirmed prior to your travel.

The advise in our email that airlines may deny boarding if the tickets are not updated with correct flight details is a generic advise that we advise our passengers as a duty of care and not a threat. It is to prompt our passengers of the risk of not having their tickets reissued and get denied boarding. Your ticket was issued on LATAM Airlines plate, however the flight number change was on the Aerolíneas Argentinas from Ushuaia - Buenos Aires. As your booking included mixed airlines, your ticket required to be reissued to reflect the correct flight number. In such cases, if the ticket doesn't reflect the updated flights, airport ground staff may deny boarding to our passengers.

Stay away from Jetabroad

Booking reference JJQ66PD I have been contacting your customer service for days and have sent more than 15 emails requesting help canceling my flights, which were affected by the war.

Your team told me that canceling the flight is my responsibility and that I should only contact you when requesting a refund. However, the booking reference you provided is incorrect and does not work on the airline’s website. Because of this, I cannot cancel the flight myself.

For days I have been asking for the correct booking reference or the e-ticket number so I can cancel the flights directly with the airline. Instead of helping, you have simply ignored every email.

All I am asking for is the correct booking reference or the e-ticket number. This situation is completely unacceptable and shows a shocking level of customer support.

Please send the correct booking details immediately.

Bad Support

I understand they are a budget online travel agent, but customers still pay good money and deserve at least a response to enquiries within 48 hours.

We purchased multi-city tickets for two people. Because of the war in the Middle East, I contacted them to ask if it was possible to change the route and return from a different city. Their reply was that all tickets on our desired dates were sold out and asked us to provide new dates. Instead, they should have provided the available alternative dates for us to choose from.

When I checked myself, I found that tickets were still available through alternative routes. I then requested information on how much refund we would receive if we cancelled the flights that go via the Middle East, so I could quickly purchase the available tickets before they sold out.

Unfortunately, it has been two days with no response. Their phone is unanswered, emails are ignored, and enquiries through their own system remain unanswered.

Based on this experience, I will never use Jetabroad again

I bought a ticket to an active war zone...

I bought a ticket from the united states to bangkok. When buying the ticket I saw that there was a stop and lay over in boha. I had no idea where that was. I Especially did not know that it is in qatar. And most importantly, All of flights in qatar are canceled due to the conflict in iran.
I was sold an expensive ticket and did not receive a warning or notification that one of the stops was in a war zone. And now the airline is not taking calls and is only dealing with people whose flight is scheduled to leave in 2 days. Now I am left wondering if my flight will be canceled or rerouted, but\n Either way, I have no idea what is happening. Why would an airline be allowed to sell a ticket that was going through an active war zone?

Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever.
It was a nightmare to book a flight with jetabroad. Customer service will take ages to reply and was not helpful at all.
I canceled my flight because I was unable to get any help related my flight, now its been more than 6 weeks I still didn't get the refund.
They deduct cancelations fee for themselves on top of air line fee, for their services which is not even they're providing.
I am not even sure if I will get any refund.

I can that all of your emails were replied to within 24hrs and at the moment we are awaiting a refund on your file. Please note, while we understand that you are not happy about the delay, however, once travel agencies submit tickets for a refund, it is upto the airline then to process the same and issue us the refund. The processing time of the airlines are completely out of a travel agency's hand. This is why Jetabroad advises in our quotation that the refunds can take any time between 4 to 12 weeks, sometimes longer. With the ongoing war going on at the moment, the processing times may be affected as well. We request that you kindly wait for our finance team to contact you once your refund is in.
