Recently moved from PureGym, JD is an okay gym. I have some niggles like how the benches are really short so if you're 6ft+ theyre pretty toss ngl, lat pulldown is also for short people. Place is pretty messy but that's down to the folks who come here and don't clean up after themselves. Music is loud as balls I can't hear myself think, makes me sound old but when I can't even hear my own music on my headphones at full blast it takes the cake. Others mentioned months ago that there needs to be duplicates and there's still only one of each machine type. Oh and there's no manual way of getting out like a code you bash in so if your phone breaks or dies then good luck as it's qr code only? Other than that id rate it a 6.5/10 considering it's almost double the price of PureGym.

My time there was really good because it was 24/7 and it meant that I was able to get a squat pr late at night, which is something that I couldn’t have done at my old gym. The people at the gym are lovely and happy to help and the equipment was really good and overall the best gym I’ve been to yet

Working out in the gym is a whole lot of experience for me.

First visit at the gym, first visit to a gym this year. Very clean, well laid out and a good selection and number of choices available for use.

Press the green button and an enthusiastic person shows you round and starts your enjoyable experience. Plenty of good equipment so no queues.
Nothing to dislike.

There’s a lot to do in such a small environment , I’ve enjoyed my first gym session in 44years and hopefully will stick to it !!

The gym itself is fine, it meets my needs and the equipment is of an adequate level (though you can tell the dudebros who max out the bicep curl machine because of how worn its padding is compared to the tricep machine).
My issues are with the WiFi being absolute jank (and sometimes passworded without the password being available?)
And then an issue with the people, not the place, but idiots just filling lockers with their stuff and then not locking it. Like come on, a padlock costs a couple quid. And then there's a lot of lockers that just don't work.

the gym is enormous i have never seen a gym with that much capacity and open space, i loved the vibe when it was full and there were so many interesting workouts going on in every corner…. although the machines were all taken and most of my favourite free weight equipment too….. that’s why i liked the weekend more when it was more quiet…. the staff were very helpful and welcoming and cheerful and supportive too! i appreciate the low price, that’s why I could afford the the gym when i visited UK for 2 weeks. But I hated the 30day notice for cancellation when I found out. I would appreciate a One time entry option…. In my country the price for one time entry ranges 6-10£

One of the nicer gyms around Warrington, I have been to most of them.
They have recently had new gym equipment in place all easy to use too.

Love having a sauna and the lighting in the gym is great. However, the men’s changing room absolutely stinks of fish and wee. some equipment could do with upgrading like the pecdec. overall the men’s changing room is in desperate need of attention.

It's just the Atmosphere so relaxed chilled the music makes you workout even better I absolutely love it so happy I Worth every penny I pay a Month

Warrington is a spacious gym with lots of room as you first walk in and in my opinion the boxing bags should be in that space with another two bags provided instead of two bags shoved in a corner in a room which has broken speakers that are played at such high volume and is off putting other than that I enjoy my time in the gym I have had to wait only a few times to use equipment but thats only because its at a busy time

The gym was dirty, used tissue in the middle of the gym. The bars had no grip. Vending machines weren’t stocked. Pins missing from machines.

The gym is immaculately clean and well equipped. Please however can you get some more kettlebells especially 24kgs as none and some wall balls no 6kg (or get the ones down that have been thrown on top of the wall) the few that are there are ripped. Finally a rope that isn’t frayed for the sled pull. Thank you 🙏

Needs duplicate equipment as only one of most machines
Also could use either another or larger sauna as the times of day im only able to get there its always full

Great place. Staff on site when I'm there - PureGym's quite poor next door as there is no staff on. All the equipment is there although I haven't a clue how to use it. Personal trainers hanging around; I guess you can pay for them if you want. Plenty of parking. Changing room is clean with plenty of lockers. I believe that there is a sauna but ive not used it yet.
