Kyle Williams at the Battersea branch…

Kyle Williams at the Battersea branch has been absolutely great from start to finish. He’s given us quick updates where required and helped to make a complicated process as simple as possible. He’s been a great communicator and i’d recommend using JBrown for lettings - professional and supportive (which isn’t always the case in this market!).

Not just an estate agent, solid advice

JBrown went above and beyond selling…

JBrown went above and beyond selling our house. Their marketing style is exceptional, they stopped at nothing to capture the beauty of our old family home. There was drone footage, videos, virtual tours, photography - you name it. They were so helpful in organising viewings and supporting us through the offer and closure process. No hesitation to recommend them, particularly James S who was always available to us. Will definitely use again. All the best.

Please Beware

Horrific experience with JBrown from start to end.

First, their agent Raheel stopped responding to us as soon as we sent the deposit. We had to chase them constantly to figure out what was happening, which was tough for us as newcomers to this country. They took advantage of us, failing to inform us that this property was managed by the landlord herself who has had numerous major disputes with tenants in the past. She has since yelled at us for asking for basic things like a plumber when the flush was broken, given us an outdated inventory report, and neglected mold in our flat for weeks among other things. When we reached out to JBrown about these issues, they have completely shrugged their shoulders and evaded responsibility.

We would have been willing to let this slide if we felt they took note of our issues and dropped her as a client. Instead, they continue to conduct viewings at this property, fully knowing (we have made them aware on multiple occasions) that there needs to be a major repair in the flat to remediate the prolonged presence of black mold and and structural issues in this flat. Any new tenant occupying this flat will need to be informed of that as well as the emotional toil that being here will take. This landlord has us incredible emotional distress on several occasions from her yelling and the uninhabitable conditions we have been left in, and she has made our move to London absolutely miserable. How JBrown is willing to do this to more people just so they can make a commission on this one rental is beyond me. I am thoroughly disgusted and I hope they take this opportunity to reflect on their practices. Please do not support this organization that only cares about their bottom line over the peace and sanity of prospective tenants.

Horrible experience with agents James…

Horrible experience with agents James and Sonya. I wouldn’t trust them. Very poor service and took 4 months to get our deposit. Intentionally ignoring calls and messages whenever we ask for updates regarding the deposit.

Coming from Middle East with no one to help me in the UK, JBrown has been one phone call away, always assisting with any enquiry, their support team is one of the best by far!
I'm glad for doing business with them, and I'm definitely recommending them to my friends in the Middle East!

James was a blessing! I previously let my property out to a questionable company who offered guaranteed rent - turns out they were just listing my property on airbnb! James managed to sort it all out and find me the perfect tenants

They don't care about tenants! Be careful.

I was trying to rent a flat in London from the company in August 2022. My agent was Sonya Edwards. I paid the deposit, terminated my current contract, and started to prepare to move in. The landlord was slow with responses, but she promised me that in the worst-case scenario, I would get a 1-year contract. However, one week before the start date, she informed that the landlord had decided to withdraw from the deal without any explanations. This was very unexpected as I had terminated the previous flat's contract. Also, I lost a deposit for another flat as I was sure the deal was complete. When I asked the agent to compensate me at least the deposit that I had lost — they refused. Please be very careful with this company as it does not care about tenants, and landlords can cancel the deal without any penalty at any moment! Horrible agent and horrible company.

I wouldn't trust the good reviews.

I wouldn't trust the good reviews.

2 months after moving in to a rental property, the agent messaged me to ask: "Would you mind, (and only if you've been genuinely been happy with the service of course!) leaving me a quick review on google?"

Only asking for reviews if you've had a good experience?

I lived in their flat for 12 months. They made many promises before singing the contract, but after that they more or less vanished. It took them 9 months to fix an issue. When the end of the contract was approaching, they stalled and stalled when I asked about renewing, and in the end told me 3 weeks before the end that the landlord was not renewing the contract. During viewings their agent demonstrated where the dishwasher was by opening it mid-cycle (the loud part), having water splash all over (no, he did not wipe it dry).

I would avoid them honestly. When they give you a call they sound very cheerful, but what they actually did was useless and you'd be better off taking your chances with another company.

They booked in a viewing to a place…

They booked in a viewing to a place that was already taken.

Viewing was at 2 o'clock and they never messaged me about the place being taken off the market (Renting) call them all morning and nothing. So we thought we would turn up to the viewing, because why wouldn't you to the pace you feel like you want to move into.

Only to be told after the viewing time had lapsed and 5 none answered phone calls, that the place has already got some tenants moving in.

How hard is it for a company to ring you or email you telling you the place you have a viewing for, is gone.

I emailed to complain and no reply to even say sorry.

The lady on the phone hung up on me while I was asking a question, is there any other places around this area that are up for renting.

Honestly, so poor, and do not use.
